"I'm tired of rumors started, I'm sick of being followed" "So says the gossip obsessor and self-proclaimed gossip spreader." Indigo taunted with a teasing grin. He spread rumors about himself, he wasn't the first person to do it. Indigo never felt the need, Rita did it enough for both of them, even when it wasn't true. She'd had her own tiffs with the girl, but had to remember to let it go because the raven never meant to hurt her by it. All she was doing was trying to uphold her own well known reputation. Still, she hated ridiculous myths and lies spread around about her when it was all completely untrue. That contradicted the fact that she liked hearing gossip about others, though it well may be streached or made up all together. Some people liked the limelight, like Regulus did, whether it made them look like the bad guy or the hero, they appreciated the attention. "Next time keep up with your gossip buddies, I would like to know when I'm involved in a scandalous situation" She nodded her head with feigned impatience, pretending like he most certainly should know better than that. "It can be akward when you're in the restroom, and the ladies chatting in there know you've kissed so-and-so before you do." That's when it was truely funny, when people 'knew' before you. Of course not, why would I need to? She answered without skipping a beat and with asurity, "Exactly." He should never have to do it, by any means. The unforgiveable curses were just that, unforgivable. Indi wondered how those curses ever came about and how they were discovered. What was that person doing, just playing in their yard using nonesense words, and suddenly their best friend drops dead? Seems unlikely. "Mostly made up" she laughed, catching that very select word. "The killing bit better be completely made up. Animals are a lot like people.....only better" She added with a smirk, her nature frenzy attitude definitely showing. It was like eating meat, she couldn't see why it was done. "Glad to know you aren't a crazy dark wizard." Indigo ran her hand across his cheek and down to his jaw gracefully. "Otherwise, I'd have to kill you." Indigo's face looked completely serious for just a split moment before she smiled, raising her eyebrows. "How merciful of you." She spoke as she watched him release her hands. The bell rang and she glanced irritatedly over at the giant clock in the courtyard. "Class, I think it perhaps gets in the way of everything single thing I try to accomplish or do. At least it's Care of Magical Creatures." Most definitely her favorite class, without a doubt.

This is the best thing that I've ever had for real
"Hey, your lucky if 25% of what people hear about me is true, but I think the general public is more like 41% true, though I would be willing to go as high as 63% of gossip having a basis of truth," Regulus grinned. Really that was what most gossip was, gross exaggerations of true events, blown complete out of proportion by over active teenage imagination. Regulus had always figured if people were going to talk anyway, might as well give them something interesting to talk about, a mantra he assumed was not to far off from that of his friend Miss Skeeter. "I'll be sure to do that," Reg said apologetically trying to hide the smirk that tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Yes, I imagine that can be awkward, but you know boys tend not to start talking about that stuff in bathrooms until things have gone beyond kissing," Regulus added with a knowing smirk. Boys gossiped far less than girls did, but as far as Regulus could see it was only because it was the big stuff that guys found interesting enough to pass along. Reg gave a quick grin as Indi seemed to have gotten the answer she wanted. He kill in a heart beat to protect her, but somehow, this didn't seem like the appropriate time to let her know...he worried it would lead to a more in depth conversation about when it was and was not appropriate to use such spells. "I couldn't agree more," Regulus grinned glad that he didn't have to lie on this bit. Animals were so much easier to understand, to be around. Maybe Regulus just liked the feeling of superiority, or the fact that the beasts presented a bit more of a challenge. The Unicorns didn't know who he was, what family he was from. His hard built reputation meant nothing to them. They would not fear him because of what they had heard, they would not repeat anything told to them. As far as Regulus could see animals had all the positive qualities of humans with almost none of the drawbacks. Regulus met Indigo's eyes, the seriousness in her face scared him, but the change to smile immediately banished any hidden trace of fear from his eyes as he grinned back giving her another quick kiss. "See I can be nice when I choose to be," Regulus reminded Indi as she called him merciful. "Walk you to class?" he smirked holding out his arm for Indi to take. If class was going to end their rendezvous they might milk the remaining time for what it was worth.

"What a beautiful morning" "Wow, I really didn't expect you to give me the exact percentages on it all." Indigo laughed at him, but it was in good sport. Sometimes, as much as he and everyone else would try and deny it, he acted like a dork. But a Cute dork. Her dork. "Maybe you should write the statistics down for me, just in case I forget" she kept at it, now that she was on a roll. "But I guess in the end, gossip is just gossip, no matter how true or how false, it gets around." It was the most popular activity in the school, besides snogging it seemed. You were always told that when you graduate, things will be different and there will be no more gossiping or lying, or anything of that 'horrible' nature. Indigo refused to believe a word of it, what did adults really know anyway? It wasn't true, and if anything they gossiped and lied more than ever, even to their own kids. Adults and teenagers were more alike than anyone wanted to believe. "And just when Are things going to go beyond kissing?" She smirked at him suggestively. She loved teasing guys, especially when some of them seemed to get all uncomfortable about it, as serious as she may be. "Girls will talk about anything and everything, no matter how great or small. If there's not enough drama going on to manage a good conversation, then they'll start some. Us girls, we're horrid. We'll smile sweet and nice, hug a girl and tell them how beautiful they are.....then ruin their reputations behind their backs." If a guy didn't like another guy, everyone knew. That's why she hung around the guys, you weren't constantly trying to figure out what your best friend Really thought of you. No more talk about the unforgiveable curses, it was a conversation niether wanted to get into. Besides, some of the questions that were constantly on the tip of Indigo's tongue, she wasn't really sure she wanted an answer for. Her smile turned into a grin as he agreed with her. How to keep on Indi's good side? Love the animals, and agree with her on whatever you could. Then there were no big debates, which unfortunately usually led to fights more often then not. She couldn't help but be overly oppiniated, and scoff at how 'wrong' the other person was. Why they couldn't see her point of view which seemed clear as day, she never understood. Indigo smirked at Regulus's reply about his kindess and gave him a small tender kiss in return. "I know you can." She cupped his cheek before letting go and trading to take his arm instead. "I'd love that. It's still outside, COMC. It's a shame you don't have a class with me this year, we could have so much fun." All the other years they barely talked, only took notice of one another in class. Of course that was when they ironically had almost all the same classes, and now it was none. Figured. "After you drop me off, where are you headed?" She liked to have an update on where he was, eventually she'd be able to learn his schedule.

"For a physical challenge, I'm notoriously bored" "Sure, I'll even organize it all on a colorful pie chart," Regulus smiled. So, what if the serpentine prince was a bit of a dork? After all it was only with Indi, and even if she did try spreading word that Regulus Black was just a big dork, no one would believe it. Still, he was glad Indi got to see that side of him. Sometimes Reg felt like that was more who he was. Not this intimidating presence, but the reputation for intimidators was much more promising, if not more stereotypical considering his house. "Hmm, that depends," he smirked seductively, running his hands up Indi's side a bit before rolling them back down. "I'll let you know if I hear anything," he said cheekily. He was actually relatively sure that if you asked the right person he and Indi had gone beyond kissing awhile ago. "Girls can be cruel...good thing your not like that," he smirked again as he leaned in to place a soft kiss on Indi's warm lips. He couldn't resist the call of her lips, it was addicting. "There is certainly a cruel irony to the way our schedules worked out," Reg said smiling at their misfortune. It really was too bad, especially since he was sure he would be useless in his next class, unable to think of anything but how the class was interrupting the time he could be spending with the Gryffindor beauty. Of course if Indi was in his class he probably wouldn't end up being much more productive. "I'll be off to...Potions," Regulus recalled as he remembered what day and time it was. So, Indi had COMC when he had potions. Reg made a mental note to remind himself to meet indi at the doors of the castle after class to walk her off to her next class as he lead her toward COMC.

"If I could freeze time, I would, I would" She shook her head rapidly, she wasn't even sure how to respond to that. "It's a wonder that you don't get just perfect marks in all your classes Regulus, seeing the way you go to the extra mile." He wasn't scary, but maybe she was prejudging as usual. Indigo liked to think of him as a mystery, but not to think of him the way others did. Sometimes she only really saw what she wanted to see, whether it was the full truth or not. Indi lost herself in her thoughts, focusing in on that last one in particular. Sometimes, people really were what everyone thought, people occasionally were right about certain things. Biting the inside of her lip, she tried not to bother with it anymore. She'd risk giving herself another one of those dreadful headaches. They'd been coming to often as it was already. "On?" she smirked, grinning at him with her eyes, even if her lips didn't move a fraction of an intch. "I'm ready when you are" Indigo flicked him on the nose and skipped up ahead for a moment with a rude little smile. Let him figure THAT one out. She had slowed down her pace almost as soon as she had picked it up, and Indigo was back in stride matching with Reg once again. Girls can be cruel, good thing you're not like that. One eyebrow raised gingerly at the comment, mulling it over. Maybe not one day, but right now it was a very strong point in her facade, her wall. "I'm as sweet and dainty as a daisy" The sarcasm lurched out. She reached out to turn his face towards her, and gave him a return kiss. "You're quite kissable." In other words, it was awfully hard not to. "It's fate. The way it works, is-" Indigo stopped herself and then rolled her eyes. Was she really about to go on about fate? She was so intense and lost in the idea that she'd nearly forgotten she Didn't believe in it. Not an inkling, or a fraction, or anything else that could give some hope into the silly idea. Just because one may have been raised that way, didn't mean they had to follow it. "Potions. Lovely." It was a very useful subject, and yet quite unbearingly boring at the same time. Another interesting way of working out. It felt like only moments before they were standing outside the classroom, or well...grounds. There class was outside today, as it usually was. Several people had already arrived, and they were waiting for the professor. "How on earth did we manage to walk so fast?"

"FYI I have pretty stellar grades," Regulus said, his smile contradictory to the mock offended tone of his voice. He thought about Sirius for a moment, how great Sirius could be if he actually bothered to try at anything. His former brother seemed destined to be a waste of a brilliant mind. "And it's only for you that I go the extra mile," he added very matter of factly. The thought of Sirius was erased and Regulus cursed himself for allowing that traitor into his mind for even a moment. But one look at Indigo and he was smiling again, he loved how she could do that to him.
Regulus gave a short smile back at Indi not sure what to say as she skipped away. She was ready when he was? Was she joking? She certainly had sounded rather playful in saying it, but she wasn't really saying what he thought she was saying...in any case he decided he should say something. "I was born ready," Regulus grinned catching up to Indi. There, now it was back to her. If she was serious so was he, if she wasn't neither was he. Reg couldn't help but laugh a bit dainty as a daisy, "and pretty as a rose," he added just before her lips reached his. "Why thank you," Reg smiled with another quick peck, "Your quite kissable yourself," he added taking her hand into his and smiling yet again.
"It's fate for us to be kept apart during the day?" Regulus asked deciding to fill the empty space left by Indigo's unfinished explanation. "I guess we're destined to be Hogwarts 'forbidden couple,'" He grinned rather liking the idea. Fate could keep them apart for class but it only made them long more for the other when class was over. "Lovely indeed, if not a bit boring," Reg commented. Potions was practical of course, but stirring your cauldron for half an hour wasn't quite his idea of entertainment. The end product was usually rewarding though so he didn't mind suffering through. "I'm not sure...I'd practically forgotten we were walking," Regulus said just as baffled by there timely arrival. "I guess I should head off to my class now," Regulus said moving so he was now attending in front of Indi facing her. He planted another sort kiss on his girlfriends lips "I'll meet you at the gates and walk you to your next class," Regulus said letting Indi know so she could look for him.

"Mmm hmm, sure you do" she nodded her head in mock offense, although she could very well believe what he was saying was true. Just because Sirius seemed to be a lazy slacker, didn't mean Regulus had to be. On the contrary, the two were very different, she could tell. Once apon a time having a crush on Reg's brother, she knew a thing or two about the Black brothers. "Aw." She smiled at him in sincerity, he hadn't been joking and she knew it. "And I'm grateful that you do it, I promise." Pie charts and all, whatever it was that he was doing for her, it was always very sweet. And for one of the first times, sweet was ok. Indi didn't have to get all ill when she heard the word, she discovered.
"You were, really? Wow Regulus that's certainly something. Usually people wait awhile before they're ready for something like That." And she just couldn't stop once she started, even if she confused him more and more by the minute. It was one of the things she had a knack for. "Oh I like that one better. Pretty as a rose, I think it fits me better don't you think? Because at least roses have thorns. I've always thought, even as a little girl, that daisies were wimps. One gust of wind and they're a goner, it's pathetic." Was she rambling again? Oh probably, it was an uncontrollable habit. Well maybe not uncontrollable, but it was certainly difficult to stop. "That's good, and I hope I always will be. None of that old lady, slobbery junk. I'm a pro" She giggled into his lip, before they locked hands.
"Slip of the tongue, I definitely did not mean to say fate. Fate's a load of rubbish, right?" She asked him, wondering what his opinion on all of it was. She hated the fact that she was extremely superstitious, she was always teased. So instead of going on about it, she acted like it was no big deal, and there was only reality. No other-wordly kind of stuff around. "That's an interesting title. I've had a handful of titles, but that one sounds the best. Count me in." Let Hogwarts have something to talk about, Lord knows they've absolutely nothing else worthwhile to do. "No kidding, one minute we're there, and the next we're here." Indigo talked about it as if it were some kind of magic trick. Which wouldn't be so out of the ordinary in a wizarding community. "Alright, sounds good." She threw her arms around his neck to give him a goodbye kiss, half the students in her class giving her a varity of different looks. "Bye cutie." Indigo walked away and stood by one of the trees, smiling at him as she waited for her professor.

Regulus just smirked not willing to recount his last report card with Indi, after all there time was far too precious together to bicker over his grades. He would just be sure to say 'I told you so' after they took NEWTS 7th year. "You should be," Regulus grinned. It was just another way for him to show how special Indi was to him. And it was good that his efforts were not going unnoticed...though he now wondered if she really did want a pie chart...maybe he'd whip one up during potions just in case.
She did enjoy playing with his head didn't she? "Well, you know, I'm not like most people," Regulus answered deciding to keep up with his never actually giving a direct answer. It was easy after years of practice, especially since he wasn't sure what else to say amidst an odd conversation like this. "Yes, it fits you wonderfully, beautiful, but strong, and dangerous if you don't know how to handle them," Regulus added realizing just how accurate his compliment had been. "Well I don't think you'll have much of a problem staying kissable," he smiled when there lips parted.
"My father certainly thinks so," Regulus said making sure his tone leant to the fact he may disagree with Orion Black on this matter. A man makes his fate, that was what he had been taught. But Regulus couldn't help but wonder if somethings were act of fate, things that happened because they were meant to happen. It was really an issue Regulus didn't like concerning himself with and one Indi seemed to know a bit about from the fact that her 'slip of the tongue sounded like the beginning of an all out explanation before she cut herself off. "haha, glad to know your on board, since I don't think I could pull off the couple end on my own," Reg smiled. He liked being a part of anything that was 'Forbidden.'
Regulus Wrapped his arms around Indi's waist instinctively as she wrapped her arms around his neck. The kiss had left a large smile on his face as released Indi, "Later gorgeous," he said giving his girlfriend a parting smile as he made his way back up towards the castle.
