Before my face hits the floor "I don't know. But if I ever do, stop me."Regulus smiled, "Deal." He didn't want Indi to be normal, maybe because he didn't want to be normal. Being normal was what Regulus had tried to be and if you asked people they might tell you he was just another 'normal Slytherin,' but anyone who thought that knew nothing about him. The fact was, Regulus was never content with being normal, being ordinary, he wanted to be extraordinary. "Yet, it can be ok..with some things. Like flirting with the Slytherin prince" Indi's kiss kept him longing, but even just the momentary connection of their lips sent his heart racing. But Indi had just given another clue to Regulus' rebellion from normalcy. He wasn't just another Slytherin, he was Slytherin's Prince. The name had much to do with his families nobility and purity, but it was Regulus who proclaimed himself prince of the Serpents, and soon he would be Prince of all the world...wizards and muggles. "I guess in that instance I can forgive you for being normal," Regulus smirked. "After all who wouldn't want to flirt with royalty," he grinned leaning in to give her a quick kiss. But now..so do I. Reg's heart nearly stopped at hearing Indi's words. For once his forked tongue was caught in his throat knowing he had been able to change Indi's view on the very existence of an emotion as complex and controversial as love. But I tried something different with you, you have no idea how hard it is for me to contain myself. This line had taken away from the mild blow that Indi was used to more physical relationships. It in fact made it a compliment, because if had he really wanted to he and Indi could have spent all their time making out, but that wasn't what he had wanted...not from her. "Well I'm not exactly used to discussing my feelings with my girlfriends either," Regulus smirked. "But if you ever feel the need to just haul off and snog me, feel free," he added keeping that trademarked smirk on his lips. He'd hate for Indi to start taking out her pent up lust on anyone, but him.

See, in that way, Indigo was the total opposite. Normal was something she'd almost die for, though it was never suited for a person like her. She didn't want to be like the others girls, because she didn't find them very normal either. Normal in her definition as sensible and collected. Often times she felt rather ordinary, too ordinary, but others she felt like a rose in a daisy patch. She didn't quite fit. Which was ok, except when she tried to explain to others why she wouldn't go near the lake, and she only took showers, not baths. That definitely got in the way of 'normal'. So Indi did her best to be an average catty teenager, who flirted with all the boys. She pulled it off quite nicely, at least she assumed. "Oh thank you, you're so merciful" She smirked in return, shrugging her shoulders at his next question.
"Only a fool wouldn't want to flirt with you" She complimented, which wasn't in her nature. She almost couldn't believe that she had actually said that; that those words had come out of her very own mouth. Out of instinct she wanted to take them back immediately, pretend she hadn't spoken them at all. But Indi was a witch, not a time traveler. What was done was done, but from the look on Regulus's face, she could tell he liked the answer. That gave her reassurance, but she still wished she hadn't said certain things so freely. Indi didn't like giving away what her heart was feeling.
So they had that in common, neither one was a sharer of emotions, she already knew that. The only thing she ever told her boyfriends was that she and her father didn't get along. Not her past, not the current, nothing. She figured that information would satisfy them when the family owl brought the occasional Howler. "I'll remember you said that" She smiled. "Which should be soon enough, seeing as I can hardly ever keep my hands to myself." Indi held up her hands in front of her face for show, and linked them behind her own back with a wink. Kissing him was better than kissing her other boyfriends, tied with maybe one, and so it made this rather hard.

There's just one thing you should know "Only to you," Regulus smiled. He was just playing around, but really it was sort of true. Of course there was general exception for pretty girls, but there were plenty of people in the castle who would argue that Reg was more merciless than merciful. It was a lot of propaganda as far as he was concerned. He hadn't done half the things people thought he did, but he really couldn't blame them as he was usually the one to start the vicious rumors of his cruelty. Regulus' smile could only brighten at Indi's next statement. It was something that he considered to be the truth even before Indi said it, but just hearing an outright compliment like that made Reg feel good...like really good. "And I know no boy with any sense would pass up the chance to flirt with you, but he'd better hope he has enough sense not to do it when I'm around, or it may just be the last thing his does," Regulus smirked his tone playful, but at the same time dead serious. That was the one part of his reputation that hadn't needed inflating. Flirt with Reg's girlfriend and you better be absolutely certain he won't see, if you value your life. Reg had trust issues, and an over active imagination which made seeing your girlfriend flirting with another guy a very bad thing. Add in a short temper and no issue with throwing a punch or hex first and it was a sure recipe for an explosion. But with indigo Reg felt like he wouldn't mind as much and at the same time would mind three times more. He felt a connection with Indi and he felt like, maybe she actually cared about him like no one else had, but at the same time he cared so much about her and wanted to be the only one getting her attention, her 'love'. "I think you'll find I have a bit of trouble with that myself," Regulus smirked. Self control was not one of Reg's strong point and he hand been thinking about kissing Indi for awhile now. It had been long enough as far as he was concerned and she said it wouldn't be long anyway, so why not beat her to the punch? Reg leaned pushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear and kissed Indi's soft lips, letting his other hand fall to her waist.

"Ooh hoo, Regulus my dear you're showing your true colors. I think I like your sense of loyality to me." Overbearing protectivness might be a better suited phrase, but either way, she liked the infliction of possible jealousy. Indi thought she had been very good as far as behavior went; the only boy she had flirted with more than mildly was Ludovic, and that was just for fun. Indigo was sure nothing would ever come of it. On the other hand, why she found nothing wrong with friendly flirting, as long as it stayed friendly, she had a very difficult time seeing her boyfriends do so. In fact they usually didn't, because she would go about pouting for a week while denying it had anything to do with the fact that they'd given another girl just a little bit of attention.
"But then let's see here. Hufflepuffs - no I won't go there again, definitely not. Gryfffindors - I'm getting rather tired of those boys, they drive a person crazy. Slytherins -" She cast Regulus a teasing look, "Let's just say you're the only one in that catergory that I'd consider.. And then Ravenclaws...hmm." Indi shrugged her shoulders. "You only have to worry about me flirting with the Ravens" Indigo beamed, as if she had done him a favor by narrowing it down. Though of course he had nothing to worry about. She wasn't truely interested in anyone else except Regulus..except for one. But he's a jerk. We just won't talk about him.
In a word, a girl had to be very thick-headed to come near Indigo's boyfriend. Besides that, she actually cared about Regulus. That would be a big no no. She knew very well that there were several of her so-called friends who liked him, and as long as they kept their ugly little hands off of him, she didn't mind. Indi had friends who did wonders to others' reputations, just by a little gossip. And then you never know when a hex just might slip out from under her robe. Oops. "Oh?" She smirked and shook her head, as if it was a bad thing. When he kissed her it made it a millon times harder, but then she couldn't think of why it wouldn't. She swung her arms around his middle, her hands bending upward to touch the small of his back. "But then, why not just give in." She murmered, kissing him back. She was never one for much self restraint anyway.

This is for real, this time I mean it "I'm glad you see it that way. Most girls tend to see it as overprotective jealousy that ruins the bonds of trust necessary for a healthy relationship," Regulus smiled basically paraphrasing the opinions of his exes...but in fairness they all knew he had trust issues going into the relationship, and the guys should really know better. If they didn't, then Reg would of course have to teach them. He cared more about Indi than he had any one else and from what he heard was going around school everyone knew it and would do well to remember it. Regulus smirked listening as Indigo counted off the houses pointing out their flaw that would stop her from flirting. "Ha, you know you may have just given me reason for random acts of violence against all Ravenclaws right?" Regulus smirked though his brain was still spinning with the thought. He was already associating the silver and bronze with the enemy, so a hex or two may just mysteriously find it's way across a Ravenclaws path...a bit of a preemptive strike; of course his victim wouldn't know that, but it would at least make Reg feel better. It also made him wonder if perhaps there was a particular one he should be concerned about, but he was with Indi know and refused to taint his time with her by thinking about who she may flirt with. She had made the choice to date Regulus, to be with him, no one else, so what if she flirted a little with the Ravens, as long as he was the one holding her and kissing her what did he care? Of course if Reg actually witnessed any flirting his attitude would change very quickly for the worst. Regulus met Indi's lips graciously as she kissed him back. "Why not?" he breathed as their lips came apart for just amount before he again leaned in to feel the warmth of Indigo's kiss. They had earned it after all, they had been on good behavior, and after their slight argument what better way to call a truce?

"Who needs trust?" She asked, knowing it was the basis for most relationships. But when you didn't carry that aquired trait, you certainly had to learn to deal without it. Besides, she didn't believe most of the so-called relationships in the world. 'I trust my boyfriend, if they say they're over and now they're just two good friends, I believe him.' Oh what an idiot. Didn't these people know anything? Indi thought it was good to have just a little mistrust, so nothing ever went too far. "As long as you don't try to control me" She warned him, but with a smile, "I don't see what's wrong with it." She liked having people be protective of her, she definitely wasn't used to it. "Actually, I kind of like it when you're jealous" She laughed.
"Ahh, don't be like that." She hadn't thought about that, but narrowing it down for him, it did sort of make sense. "Don't worry, for 1. Ravens usually don't have time for me, and for 2....well let's just say some of them are into the date me, be with me forever theory." Indigo made a face, showing that she didn't like that. She brushed her fingers through his thin brown hair, cupping his face. "Don't do anything too mean eh?" She grinned. "We still want them healthy in time for Quidditch. Wouldn't be any fun to beat them because they couldn't play." Indi laughed lightly. On another note, she hoped he wouldn't keep a watchful eye on Ludo now, she just naturally flirted with him, it wasn't a big deal.
She had never let her other boyfriends be protective in the least. As a matter of fact, if they had, she'd have been very angry. It was different with him, again, as it always seemed to be. Not like it mattered, she was just starting to go with the flow. If her heart was ok with it, her mind should be too. Usually it was the opposite, but not anymore. Why not exactly, she'd waited long enough. And after all, it's not like this was about to be all their relationship was. She touched the back of his head and pulled it closer to her's, ridding them of any space that was between them, she melted into his kiss. She stepped up and put her feet on top of his so they were more level in height.

I'm coming clean please don't let go "Psht, it's overrated anyway," Regulus smiled in response to Indigo's trust comment. Trust was another concept that didn't quite seem to add up for him. No one was completely honest to anyone person. You could of course trust some people more than others, but to completely trust in any one person seemed as though it could only have negative effects. People said they wanted you to be honest with them, but that was crap. All they really wanted was for you to tell them what they wanted to hear and mean it...or at least sound like you mean it. Regulus was quite proud that he had yet to lie to Indi, not directly anyway. There were some that may say that keeping the sort of secrets he kept was lying as well, but Reg saw keeping these things quite as being in both of their best interests. "You know, neither reason makes me feel much better," Regulus said a light smile forming at the corners of his mouth. The fact that they 'didn't have time for her' implied Indi would prefer to spend more time with these individuals which was upsetting as he wanted to be the only one spending more time than necessary with her. He also wasn't keen on anyone thinking they could take Indi from him and live happily ever after...even knowing that wasn't what Indi wanted the fact that some nerdy little bookworm was thinking things like that was unpleasant. But Indi was his, he reminded himself, and he was hers, they were together because they cared about each other and no zit faced little Raven was going to change that. "Fine, I shall keep them in tact at your request...I was only planning on having a little fun anyway," he said with an impish smirk. Of course because of her comment about having them ready for quidditch made him even more keen to go through the roster, but perhaps hexes wouldn't even be required in that case. Perhaps he could talk to Ravenclaws Captain about a little scrimmage between the houses. Slytherins were known for there hard nose play and tendency to bend the rules anyway so why not take it a little farther to send a message to not only the team but any any Ravenclaw, or any other house for that matter, that Slytherins were not to be messed with, nor were their girlfriends. Regulus' mouth flexed in bit of a smile through the kiss as Indi stepped up onto his feet to bring them more level. he wrapped his left arm tighter around her waist pulling them closer, to keep her balanced as he tried deepening the kiss, his right hand resting on the back side of her neck as he savored the sweet taster of his girlfriends lips.

~I don't want to live without reason~ Overrated was right. In fact, she could go as far as to say it should be non-existant. The only thing you ever got from putting your trust in someone was the short end of the stick. Because they were human, they had flaws, and they usually gave into them. A person wasn't going to not do something they wanted to, just because of a little promise. Well Indi knew she could, the only reason she figured she was in her house, but most could not. And in the end, everyone was just out for themselves. She'd learned that from the start; every man, or woman, for themself. Ah, the world they lived in was such a marvelous thing. A person simply cannot get enough of it...pah. Indi was such a pessimist that she couldn't see past the flaws of it to really see what made the world great. Besides plants, that is. "Aww, what do you think I'm going to do?" She quizzed him, now knowing that their little conversation hadn't made him feel any better about it. "You know, these little things called reputations, you just can't shake them off, no matter what you do" Indigo smirked. "I'm a changed woman, I've repented of my sins" She tried not to laugh, throwing her hands up in the air dramatically. After a moment of silence, she slowly put them back down and smirked yet again. "Well, ok maybe not, but I promise I wouldn't do anything to mess us up intentionally." She glanced up once again to literally beam at the covered up sun, served it right for being so blasted bright and hot all fall long. If there was any luck at all, it could rain. Not probable, but one could always hope. "A little fun is measured differently for every person. For example, I think my little trouble and your little trouble are two very different things" She stated matter-of-factly. Indigo preferred not to do anything that could get her held responsible, and reported to her father. Occasionally, she'd be bad, but for the most part she pretty well stayed clear of that area. Her lips parted as she kissed him in return, moving her head back to just barely touch his lips. "I'd ask if you've had practice, but we all know that answer." Indi looked at him cheekily and kissed him once more, hand running up his chest to cup his face.

I said from the start that you could take it or leave it "I don't think you're going to do anything. I just don't want any brainy little eagle getting the idea that he can 'save you' from a mean old Slytherin like myself so you two can live happily ever after," Reg said before pretending to gag at the thought. "And I've never really put much stock in reputations. I have a pretty big one myself, quite varied too depending on who you ask," he smirked knowing that he had at least as many enemies as he did admirers, in fact he almost made sure of that. Better to be feared than loved as Machiavelli would say. "Repented?" Regulus repeated raising an eyebrow as he stifled a laugh. He didn't see Indigo as much of the repenting type. Her next sentence made Reg's heart skip a quick beat before going right back into its normal rhythm. That was one of the more serious things either had said to each other and was probably the greatest thing Indi could have said short of 'I love you.' Perhaps it was even more important seeing as neither of them quite believed in love. "I wouldn't either," Reg said soft, but serious. He'd learned over the years that it was easy to just go along with whatever the person you were dating said, but it was new for him to actually mean it. Indi was the best thing to happen to him and he wasn't going to risk their relationship for anything. "Really?" Reg smiled at Indi's rather certain statement. Of course a little trouble and a little fun were definitely subjective terms, but he wondered just how far off he and Indi's ideas were. Of course she probably couldn't see the fun in beating up on the Ravenclaw quidditch team, but he was sure if it was full of flirty girls who took an interest in Reg she may change her tune. "What do you qualify as a little trouble?" he asked smirking curiously. "Well it looks like all the practice has paid off," Regulus smirked. He certainly had quite a bit of practicing...in fact he'd known a few girl he'd used for just that, kissing practice...somehow it seemed more practical than putting lipstick on his hand. "I daresay you've had a bit of practice yourself," he added trying not to think about what he was saying as he smiled back at Indi. He knew she'd kissed other guys...on a few, painful, occassions he had actually witnessed it, but that didn't make it any more pleasant to think about.

~It's a miracle if we get this right~ "Ugh, any Raven or anyone else for that matter who has enough gall to think that I need saving, I'm not interested in. So don't worry your pretty little head about it. Besides, happily ever afters should stay where they belong - in fairytales." She had given up long ago on believing any nonsense like that was real. You just got by as best as you could, and in return a person was occasionally rewarded. "Oh, I know" Indigo smirked. "Why I didn't know quite what to think of you at first. Big bad slytherin or helpful charming slytherin? There's definitely a confused opinion about you in Hogwarts." Of course she noticed him from afar on rare occasions before they met; he never really seemed to lead or take much part in the obnoxious behavior that sometimes preceeded slytherins, so she chose the second. "Be careful though, sometimes what they say about someone is true." There is a little bit here and there that she hears, that's right on the mark. Indi wasn't the gossiper, she was the reciever of the gossip. She found out everything from Rita Skeeter, but didn't bother passing it along. She gave that so-called privledge to her friend. "Oh yes, you see I'm terribly religious. As it is, I already feel as though I'm condemned. So I suppose I might as well live it up" She bluffed, on both accounts. Indigo's religious philosophy only extended as far as there is a God, and no further. She doesn't believe in all the hocus pocus miracles and nonsense, they just didn't happen. She does feel as though she should try and do the right things, though it doesn't always turn out right. Yes, Indigo's view on spiritual subjects is very slim indeed. She smiled at his reply and left it at that, knowing it was at least enough for her. She couldn't begin to get into deeper stuff than that, it was satisfactory for now. Both of them knew that whatever this was, it was a good thing. "Well on one hand, a little trouble would be perhaps getting a detention, pulling a prank on someone, snogging in a professor's office, sneaking around Hogwarts after dark, or....pulling one of the paintings off the wall and hiding it in the boy's bathroom, thereby making them think they've gone nuts because their hearing voices. Or at least uncomfortable." Indigo smiled slyly, as if she didn't just get that last idea from someone else. "Anything more than that is well, Regulus, that's just plain trouble. Nothing wrong with it, occasionally of course." Indi just didn't like getting caught, trouble was no problem. "Oh..." Indigo started, pretending to mull it over. "A bit." She winked at him, leaving him to it to agonize over what that meant at free will. She wrapped her right leg over his smoothly as she kissed him again, rubbing her hand up his back. Somebody whistled as they went by and Indi opened her dark eyes, glaring at them as they passed, rather swiftly after that. With a flick of her wrist, in fact you'd have to have a keen eye to notice it at all, the female who had done it had her skirt fly up, making her scream in alarm. Indi smirked wickedly over Regulus's shoulder before going right back to him. Maybe she ought to mind her own business.

I prefer that you keep it, and don't let go "I'll agree with you on that one," Regulus smiled. Happily ever after wasn't quite the way he saw his life ending. Of course his relationship with Indi had him believing that he could get reasonably close. But being with Indi seemed like it would bring more problems then solutions in the long term. Of course she would be worth it, but hiding out from the dark Lord and being kicked out of your family wasn't exactly the formula for happily ever after as far as Reg was concerned. "Haha, and which one have you decided on?...Or are you still making your decision?" Reg asked smirking curious as to which stance Indi was taking. Of course he already knew, but he wanted to hear that Indi thought him charming rather than mean. "Of course some of it is...but most of it is rubbish. I should know, I'm the one who starts half the bad rumors that get passed on about me," Regulus smirked. It was usually the ridiculous little things that no one should believe, but for some reason can't resist giving into the temptation of good gossip. It was nice having a reputation, so Reg was willing to do a little work to maintain it. And being 'friends' with Rita Skeeter helped, seeing as she was always looking for juicy gossip and usually cared little about whether it was true or not. "Ha, might as well, though somehow I never pegged you as the religious type," Reg smiled. It seemed a bit to contradictory that someone who was 'very religious' would simply accept their condemnation. Of course it would make about as much sense as anything else in religion. Reg wasn't a very religious person, he tried not to be considering in pretty much all religions he knew he was condemned from birth. Reg was glad Indi smiled back, he took it as a sign that she believed him, and hopefully she did. Regulus smiled and let out a short laugh at the painting in the bathroom idea, "Speaking from experience are we?" he smirked. "Nope nothing wrong with it at all, provided you don't get caught that is," he added slyly letting on that he may find occasionally to be a bit more often than she did, but he rarely ever got caught. Of course he did destroy a class room a while back with spells he found in a book from the restricted section. He was lucky enough not to get caught on that one, but he hadn't been quite so lucky when he'd gotten into a brawl with his brother in the middle of a corridor. Reg smirked into Indi's next kiss, running his hand over the top of her thigh as she wrapped it around his. The whistle caught him off and before he could bother to draw his wand he saw the girls skirt fly up making her shriek and run off. He thought about casting another spell to trip the girl, but it seemed that would stall her fleeing and the further away she ended up, the better. "Very nice," Reg smirked at Indi now rubbing his hand over her back gently. It was obvious to him what Indi had done, even though there was no way to prove it, they had been close enough that Reg could clearly see the flick of her wrist, but he didn't have to see it considering what he already knew and loved about his girlfriend.

"faced with the memories"
"It's not like they ever actually work out" She grumbled, thinking those stories were a lie to children. Give reality to them even when they're young, they'll grow up stronger. Putting fantasisms into their heads, and making them search for the idea of true love their whole life, isn't kind. Especially when they pass up the offer to be with the best person they could to find it. Exhibit A: look at the divorce rates. Now she had to admit, they were much higher among muggles, but it was still astounding in their own world. That's because stupid people who thought they had love, ended up with stupid marriages and incomabatible spouses. So, there. Try and disprove that theory why don't you. Indi was completely set against the whole thing. "Well....." Indigo started, observing his reaction at her answer. "Big bad Slytherin is rather promising.... However," She cut off. "You really just don't fit the part to me, in any way, shape, or form. I'll go with charming, since it seems just so much more accurate."
He gave her weak knees much more often than shaky ones. In fact, Indi couldn't see Reg scaring her even if he tried. "Rumors about yourself. I've never done such a thing, but then I am friends with people who are more than capable to do it for me" She smirked. Why was it that Rita Skeeter always first popped into her mind when it came to that? Indigo smirked even more. "So what exactly is true, and what isn't? What's fact and what's fiction Regulus?" She resisted the temptation, Mr. Black almost slipped off her tongue. "Perhaps that is because religion is blasphamy in itself. So hypercritical, so black and white. I'm glad you think I wouldn't be tricked into something so foolhardy as that." The mere thought of religion was ignored by her, something Indigo couldn't explain or figure out was something she much rather pretend didn't exist. In that way, she wouldn't have to worry endlessly about what would happen to her after she died.
"Experience? Oh, maybe it's merely from an observation." Indigo countered, she couldn't just say an outright lie. Of course it was from experience, it had been rather funny too. Boys, they could scream just as much like girls as girls could. Besides all that, the prank had been a simple and very harmless one. "Have you ever been caught?" She asked curiously with a smile on her face, seeing Regulus stuck in detention would be amusing. Even more so, because that was usually his brother's area of expertise. Very nice. "Mmm whatever." The girl could have had it worse, but considering Indigo was rather preoccupied...She pushed her hip into his, closing whatever gap there had been between them. Indigo let her lips slide down his neck and to his collarbone, actually leaving a trail of lipstick as she did so. Indi looked up and raised her eyebrows. "Oh dear" She laughed, not caring at all.

This is the best thing that I've ever had for real "In the end it's all just rubbish really," Regulus agreed. It seemed somewhat ironic to be trashing the idea of love with the one girl who made him think that maybe it did exist. And yet Indigo's disdain for 'true love' only made her all the more appealing. There was no worry of her using the word and not meaning...mostly because he doubted she would use it at all, such a silly notion. Everyone thought they found it at one point, and it only seemed to leave them worse off when they found out they were wrong. So it made sense to not believe in the whole thing and just be pleasantly surprised if you ever found out it does, but never get dissappointed if it doesn't. "Any way shape or form? You obviously haven't been paying attention to all the gossip, circulating. Of course all the more recent gossip about me has been much nicer...I'm apparently in a forbidden love affair with a Gryffindor...so i suppose that does sound far more charming than big and bad...but I've also heard whispers that I had to put the girl under the Imperius curse to get her to go out with me," Regulus smirked finding the whole thing rather amusing. You just have to love gossip. "Hmm, you know I'd love to tell you love, but I have to say even I have trouble divining the truth from the lies now," Reg said not quite willing, or completely able to give Indi the truth in this matter. Some of the things that had been said about him seemed so plausible, he wasn't exactly sure they weren't true, and in some cases he had just heard the rumor so many times he had created a memory of it, and most of the rumors he spread were based on dreams which were now ingrained as truth. "Amen to that," Regulus smirked at Indi's comment on religion. "Ha, right, so you just happened to wander into the boys bathroom and observe this?" Regulus smirked rather sure that Indi had been experimenting and observing. It seemed unlikely that she would be able to come up with such a prank unless she had some hand in it. "A few times, but I mostly leave that end of mischief up to Sirius," he grinned. Regulus had in fact even framed his former brother a few times, Potter as well. Sirius still hadn't learned that operating in a group the way he did only made it easier to get caught. "Plus it helps that I built up a pretty solid reputation of talking my way out of punishment even if I did get caught...now people believe there's no point in ratting on me, so all I have to do it make sure I don't get caught red handed. Reg had actually had a phase of pranking a group and confunding all but one of his victims into forgetting what happened, so the unconfunded one seemed crazy...it was quite entertaining really.

"So this is where we are, this is where we stand" "Agreed. Terribly glad we got That out of the way." It was best to just avoid even thinking about it. Indigo really didn't have a fathom of an idea that Regulus thought about it. She felt glad to be around a boy who had his head on straight, and didn't constantly attack her with the L word. She'd be in that situation before, she felt smiliar to a performer in the spotlight. The only thing that came off the top of her head was a mumbled 'I don't know if we're ready for that.' It wasn't the best approach to save her feelings, but hey, when it's just randomly popped, how much time do you have to think of a better reply? Indigo wouldn't think about what she would say if Regulus mentioned it, because she didn't want to. She didn't want to admit she liked him a lot, because to her even merely liking a guy was getting over her head. Indigo was so deeply submerged under her covers, people had starting giving up and just assumed she'd never find that special little thing. Hmph, let them think what they want. Indi was just fine in her own little sealed up bubble, playing it safe. Alas, she was hopeless. "Gossip, half the time it's truth, and then the other half of the time it's only partly true. Can't believe everything you hear through the grapevine" She pointed out, literally pointing her finger to poke him in the chest, teasing him. "But I've heard my fair share, mind you. I've got to know what's going on, even if the facts are skewed. I just don't spread it." That way, you avoided the wrath of all the angry little people. Her friends had to deal with it, while she just took advantage of overhearing. "Hahaha, in a forbidden love affair are you? You didn't bother to tell me?" She grinned before laughing again, that was a good one. Everyone was calling them the Romeo and Juliet pair. "That's quite cute. I'll just have to straighten them out a bit though, I suppose. I'm in this relationship completely out of my own free will. On a side note, you wouldn't ever use the imperious curse." She slipped it in at the end, almost a question before continuing. "Aha, but that is why you don't lie, and you won't have to deal with that predicament in the first place." Grr, she felt like she was becoming a teacher behind her own back. Or a preacher, one of the two. Ethan, he was rubbing off on her, much more of a stickler on the truth than even she was. Ok, his name was going to stop popping up. Now. "A pain to avoid lying though, I don't blame you for not bothering." Wandering into the boy's bathroom. "Um, sure." Heh, ok maybe not. "Fine you've caught me red-handed, I plead guilty." She stuck her arms out as if she were to be handcuffed. "But go easy on me k?" She beamed at him. "Sirius causes enough trouble to make up for anyone's lack of bad behavior. You weasle your way out of the trouble? I've got to learn how you do that." Indigo only managed to dig herself in deeper..when she was caught that is.

This is the best thing that I've ever had for real "I think half the time is a little generous from some of the gossip I've heard," Regulus smiled not willing to believe half of what he heard actually happened...he could see maybe 40% depending on who you heard it from and how far it could be traced back. It seemed like even the rumors that started out true ended up skewed if enough people tried putting their own spin on it. "Well, if I had only known I would have told you," Reg smirked. Forbidden, seemed a little drastic for him, unlikely maybe, but as he had been quick to point out, he wasn't dating a mudblood and house lines never stopped him before...the fact that most Gryffindors hated him had served as a sizable hindrance, which may have given way to the Imperius reason. "Of course not, why would I need to?" Reg smirked again. Of course he assumed Indi was phrasing her question only in terms of herself, and Reg would never dream of having to use any sort of magic to influence Indi. Perhaps a few parlor tricks, like growing flowers for her out the tip of his wand, or the time he made the music play so they could dance, but never anything malicious. When it came to protecting Indi however, there were no restraints on the magic Reg may use to keep her safe by his side. "True, but then I'd have to deal with other people making up lies about me...I'd much rather do it myself. I guess I can tell you most stories that involve riding, taming, or killing mythical creatures are mostly made up...actually I suppose three those stipulations apply to wizards and muggles as well..." Regulus said deciding these sorts of rumors could be written off and easy any fears that Indi may have, though he thought some of those rumors made him sound so much more interesting. It was a bit ironic that he had given himself such a bad rep, but had actually saved lives before, those rumours were actually true though Regulus wasn't exactly proud of his inherent ability to 'play the hero.' "You are a very naughty girl," Regulus smirked grabbing Indi's wrists as she 'confessed.' He put her wrists together lifted them up to his lips and kissed them before letting them go. "But we can deal with your punishment later," he added moving to her and wrapping his arms around waist smiling into his girlfriends soft brown eyes like they were the single most beautiful things he'd ever seen..
