((haha I wasn't sure what to call the thread))
Regulus Black was not feeling, and it wasn't just because he had a massive hangover. His head was throbbing and even though he had been awake for nearly two hours the castle seemed ridiculously bright. Ha, so much for his two drink limit. He was never drinking firewhiskey again. Especially if he actually had done what he thought he had done.
'No,' he thought. 'No it couldn't have been real it was a dream,' he assured himself. Of course even dreaming the act made him feel dirty and guilty. Should he tell Indigo? No, no it was a dream, no reason to trouble her with a dream. Perhaps he hadn't even been to Hogsmeade at all the previous night, perhaps he had only convinced himself he had a hangover. And perhaps Mafalda Hopkins was merely a figment of his imagination. Now he was getting ridiculous.
Rubbing his temples as he moved towards the great hall exit Regulus tried to get the facts straight. Mafalda Hopkins existed, true. He had seen her in Honeydukes last night, true. He then went to the three broomsticks with her, true. They had sex, false it was a dream. They left separately, true. Okay, that was easy enough, so why did he still feel a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach that had little to do with the hangover?
Maybe because he could put himself into the dream and it was so real, but hadn't that been the case for all his dreams recently. He wasn't still sitting here trying to see if he had actually been stabbed when it happened in a realistic dream. Maybe because none of the other dreams were good. 'Neither was this one' he reminded himself quickly. The experience had certainly been pleasant, but there was nothing 'good' about dreaming about cheating on the girl you love.
As all these thoughts weighed heavily on Regulus mind, he literally, bumped into fate.

((I didnt know whether to post or not but well....now Regulus has a friend. )) Aceline's head was filled up with so many thoughts. They all seemed to race and started to make no sense at all to her. She wasnt shure what she was doing or why she was even attempting to do it. She sighed. God she thought to herself, a word that was starting to get popular with her now adays. She though of Trinity, her long black hair that fell softly into her hazel eyes. Her shape...her everything. If only... Those words were getting rather popular with her too. Who knew Aceline had a conscience?
Aceline wanted nothing more than to write to Trinity. To explain, mabey. To explain that it was never Aceline's fault and that she never would have left if it were up to her. If she had anything to do with it. Aceline though of Trinity's arm's around her and her lips on-Aceline quickly cleared her head of these thoughts. It should have never been....nor do I want it to be. In a drunken stupor, Aceline kissed her best friend of three years. It resulted terribly. Hogwarts was her 'fresh start' as her parents so heartlessly put it. She tried to focus on other things....perhaps that cute boy, Kalib, who she previously met, but Kalib was of no interest to her.
In her little walk of regrets Aceline bump, rather painfully, into a boy.

Regulus recovered quickly from the bump a little painful, from bone to bone contact, but nothing that should even leave a bruise. Reg quickly cast a look to his victim, if he were the type to apologize he would have said sorry. If he had been thinking clearly he would have made it look like the girls fault, but two things threw him off. One was the fact that the blond beauty he had bumped seemed unfamiliar, quite strange. The second thing was that his mind was so bogged down with thoughts that his brain was scrambling for speech after about thirty seconds of stammering soundlessly caught between apologies and blame he finally managed a neutral response of "hi."
How many times had Regulus spoken the word and this seemed the first time he had ever been unsure as he spoke it. Hearing his own indecisive voice forced composure into the 16 year old Slytherin as he stuffed his thoughts a side. "I don't believe we've ever met, I'm Regulus Black," he smiled regaining his confident composure. Of course a long with throwing out the distraction of his thoughts he managed to toss out the fact that he had just bumped into the girl as well. Perhaps she wouldn't notice.
Regulus really needed to talk to Mafalda he couldn't keep walking about in a daze bumping into people. Of course he couldn't this first incident seemed to be turning out okay. What was he saying? He had a girlfriend who he was in love with if anything it was bad luck that had driven him into a beautiful stranger...love is so strange. Still the girl was new to him, so why not take the opportunity to try and make friends? If nothing else it would get his mind off of his...dream.

Aceline stummbled from the force of the impact, her confidence slightly shattered as she looked up into the face of a..well...quiet beautiful boy. She felt heat rising in her cheeks and her hand mommentarily went to her face as she regained her composure. The way the boy stummbled and grasped for words made a small smile form on her pale pink lips as she studied him, though she acted as if she were not doing so.
Aceline noticed he did not yet apoligize, so she thought better of it also. It wasnt as if it were her fault he was clumsy, was it? She tossed her long blonde hair over her shoulder and looked up at him as he introduced himself. Regulus....Aceline rather liked that name, and though the little voice in her head told her to turn around and leave, something made her stay and return his gorgeous smile.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Regulus Black, I'm Aceline Perezz." Although thoughts of Trinity raced in Aceline's head, she pushed them aside. Something made her believe that this could be a beautiful friendship.

"Pleasure to meet you as well Aceline," Regulus nodded politely. Still Regulus refused to bring himself to apologizing. In any case it seemed to late now. Besides Aceline certainly didn't seem to mind and he was glad that she had not demanded an apology. It was a nice name, Aceline. Again Regulus wondered how it could be that the two had not met earlier. She seemed to be older, perhaps even his year and it seemed she was a Slytherin.
It may have been that he had seen the girl before and merely, not noticed her. But surely she would still have to be new. There was one sure fire way to find out. "Are you new here?" Regulus asked. Normally there would have been a following comment about how a girl as beautiful as her could have gone so long without meeting him. But given the problems already swirling in his mind he thought it best to hold back the flirtatious comments. After all it was things like that which threatened his previous relationships and which led to the event which could very well jeopardize the current one.
Immediatley Reg cleared his thought, focus instead on the brilliant blue eyes that stood out quite nicely from the pale complexion and fair hair of the girl who now stood opposite of him. He had friends that were girls, actually he had more female friends then male friends, well perhaps not more, but closer ties. Even so though, none of Reg's friends were really that close, just people to joke with, and save him from loneliness for a time.

Aceline waited for an apoligy that still never came, she let out a light laugh, liking this boy already. Her eyes traveled down his robes and landed on his Slytherin badge, that stood out against his chest. She smiled once more, meeting his eyes. She noticed they were a stunning green color, and a small blush rose on her cheeks once more. Her eyes faltered slightly, but once again she stood confidently and with, what she hoped was, ease.
Aceline nodded her head at the boy's question, blonde hair falling slightly into her eyes and around her face. She swiped it back behind her ear. "Yes." she answered. Normally she would have followed this responce up with something sarcastic like 'and I assume your not..' but she didnt want to offend him before he even got to know her. That was something she usually did with everybody she met, but hey, this was supposed to be a fresh start. Besides, she knew Regulus was not new at Hogwarts. Even the deaf people could hear all the little fourth and fifth year girls wisper about him. Aceline had the feeling he knew this, also.
She stared back at him as his eyes scanned her face, before she cleared her throat slightly. "So...where are you heading?" she questioned, grasping at conversation. If it were up to her, she would stand here all day in his company, but of course, she was not trying to get a reputation as one of those girls. Many of her friends were guys, but that was only due to the fact that she could not deal well with the jealousy and backstabbing of other girls her age.

"I thought so," Regulus smiled. See this wasn't so hard, just focus on this blond girl so you can forget about what you did with the other one...in a dream. So, she was indeed a new student which of course explained why he didn't know her, but there were still a few questions he could. "How do you like Hogwarts so far?" he asked casually hoping to continue on with meaningless conversation. God he hated that question. It implied that he actually cared about whether or not she was enjoying herself. But pretending to listen to her talk about the challenges of coming to a new school were much better than his alternative.
Where was he heading? It was another one of those pointless conversation questions, but it just meant Aceline was as desperate for conversation as he was. But where had he been heading? He had been running from his own thoughts, but had he thought of a hiding place. "I'm not sure," he said before he could stop himself. Stupid indecision. "That is to say I was either going to the lake or back to the commonroom, haven't quite decided which," he added. At least he now didn't sound like a lost little first year stumbling through the corridors. He was a sixth year, and had explored much of the castle in that time.
"Where were you headed?" Reg asked returning the question. Again it was purely meaningless conversation, but a very welcome distraction. Rehulus began to wonder if Aceline was looking to distract her mind as well, or if she was begining to fall for the serpentine prince like so many others before her. Sometimes it really did seem like a curse: knowing you could all but control a person with charm. Of course he hadn't even started to be charming towards Aceline. Perhaps she really was just taking advantage of the conversation that had walked into her.

Aceline wasnt shure what to say, or why she should even be bothered. But something stopped her from turning around and leaving. This was a decision Aceline was shure she was going to regret in the future. She thought about how she liked the school, as she pulled her blonde hair up in a loose pony tail. Many words could describe her stay. Hell, torture, cruel and unusual punishment any of those Aceline saw fit, on any given day. She despised this building and for the most part, everyone in it. She knew he didnt want to hear of her problems...god, sometimes she wished she could shut herself up. So instead she gave him her best smile. "It's decent...rather lovely once you get past..." her voice trailed off. Rather lovely once you get past the what?!? she hadnt thought that far ahead in her stupid little lie. God, she was a wretched liar. That's why plenty hated her-she was too honest. Usually cruel with her honesty. ...um...the...dirt! Aceline blushed at her stupid comment, untying her hair once more so it can hide her face and her peircing blue eyes that waited for his reaction. Not that she cared. Because she didnt. Aceline laughed slightly, the boy-Regulus-seemed so wrapped up in his own thoughts. It would be funny if a.) she didnt feel totally ignored and b.) he seemed almost....pained. It was none of her business though, so she pretended it was just her seeing things once more. She had the tendency to imagine people bending down in pain and kissing her arse. Not literally, of course, but still. He didnt even seem to look twice at her. Aceline pouted to herself, before quickly deciding she would rather if he didnt flirt. It would only cause more complications in her life that were not needed. Aceline, too, had no idea where she was heading. She ran a hand through her hair, a habit she had when she was confused or pondering something. I guess...she paused.actually she sighed. I have no idea...I guess just somewhere... her voice trailed off. Feeling that the conversation was going to turn tense, she laughed. "Where people can bask in my beauty, of course." she joked, slipping into a comfort zone she felt once she was around people long enough.

((Sorry this has taken so long )) "The dirt?" Regulus repeated with a smirk. He considered whether he should chastise Aceline for this poor attempt at a lie. Regulus really would have expected more from a fellow Slytherin, but she was new and she was cute so he decided to give her a a pass. Besides she was blushing already so no point in embarrassing her further. Still Regulus wondered if she had been hiding the actual answer or if she just made a poor attempt of insulting the school. "Well, of course," Regulus smiled at Aceline's comment about going where people could bask in her beauty. Perhaps she had earned her spot in the house of the serpents after all. Of course she had clearly said it as a joke, but there was little doubt in Reg's mind that Aceline would soon be plagued by those who would like to do just that. "So, uh, where did you transfer from?" Reg asked figuring he should get in his question now before the aforementioned hordes would come to bask in the glow of the new girls beauty. That and Regulus was looking to keep questions away from himself. Of course he didn't mind answering basic questions as long as the topic of last night didn't come up. Of course he could just lie, as he always did when there was something he didn't want to talk about, but he wasn't sure he'd be able to in this case. Of course he was sure what happened was a dream anyway, but that meant he wasn't quite sure what he did. Must have dozed off right after returning from Hogsmeade, then returned their in his dream. In any case Aceline was his distraction, he could deal with his problem later, or hopefully by the time he left Aceline he may be able to just forget it completely, push it back in his mind and never recall it...yea right.

((It's okay. Though I had thought you had forgotton about me... )) Aceline smiled at Regulus, knowing he saw right through her stupid lie and happy he said nothing about it. She really didnt feel like explaining herself. Or talking about herself, which was a first for her. But when Regulus questioned her about where she transferred from, Aceline almost automatically answerred him. For some reason, she felt as though she could trust him. Judging from his reputation...that was probely a mistake. Then again, alot of thing's Aceline did in her life lately were just that: Horrible mistakes.
"I'm not shure whether you've heard of it. Beaxbatons. It's an all girl french school." She answered as she flipped her hair and she looked over her shoulder and out the window. The sun was setting in the distance and Aceline smiled to herself...her mind already drifting...
But she glanced up at Regulus and once again, his stunning green eyes caught her attention. Aceline only hoped it stayed that way.

((haha I could never forget about you ;D))
Regulus nodded as Aceline told him she had come from Beauxbatons. "I've heard of it," he said knowing it was one of the schools along with Durmstrang that competed against Hogwarts in the Triwizard tournament. He had also known it was in France and all girls, but he had never actually visited the school.
"Is it nice?" Reg asked curious to know what the all girls school was like. He had heard that all the girls there were gorgeous, but he doubted it was true. Although if Aceline was any indication then perhaps the rumors were true after all. Still, Hogwarts had some pretty good looking girls themselves...of course there were also not so pretty ones, but Reg generally ignored them.
"How'd you end up at Hogwarts?" Reg asked curious as to why Aceline had left France. Had her family moved? Or was she just tired of being in a school with that many girls? Reg couldn't imagine having to go to a school made up of all boys, the mere thought mad him shudder. Of course given his current predicament he daresay it would be easier in a school of all guys.

((Too beautiful to forget, am I? LOL.))
'is it nice?' Aceline wrinkled her nose at Regulus's question, a swirl of bad memmories suddenly coming back to her. Yes. It was nice. Before Aceline messed up everything it was absolutely perfect
Aceline pushed the memmories back. No use dwelling. She was here. New minds to twist. Better value's to warp. Hotter boys to kiss. Not that Beaxbatons was exactly over flowing with boys, but still.
Aceline smirked slightly. "What do you think? Alot of gorgeous, bitchy girls walking around in skimpy little robes." Aceline laughed. "not my first preference...but, you can't win all of your battles." Then again...you can always cheat and lie until you do... "How'd you end up at Hogwarts?" Aceline frowned slightly. Thinking once more of Trinity. The was she felt. The very essence of her. The looks her parents gave her. The fight. The move. Aceline shrugged. "I'm not the kind of girl who sticks with one thing too long.." Aceline smiled to herself. Who said I can't lie...?

((lol indeed you are love )) "What do you think? Alot of gorgeous, bitchy girls walking around in skimpy little robes.""Sounds like heaven," Regulus smirked. Gorgeous, bitchy girls were his favorites and then putting them all in skimpy little school robes was just the icing on the cake. He would need to talk to Indi about the possibility of getting her into one of those skimpy robes. Of course he wouldn't want her strutting around the castle that way. He had nearly punched a boy he saw ogling her as she walked to class. Lucky for the boy he was well out of arms reach and got away with merely an embarrassing fall that sent his school books flying. It had brought a smirk to Reg's face and served as atonement for the boy's mistake. Sadly there were most likely many others and he couldn't hex them all. The fact was though, it wasn't looking that bothered him. It was really almost a compliment to have his girlfriend looked at in that way...as long as they kept their hands off and their mouths shut. Reg had good mind to hex half the commonroom when he had walked in the other day. He hadn't heard anything, but the silence that fell upon the group as he entered spoke volumes. None had met his eye, though he was sure they must feel his glare. Indigo was his girlfriend. It seemed hypocritical though, given what had happened last night. Guilt had tired him and Regulus hadn't made it to the library the previous night as intended. Besides, he wanted the guilt, wanted to feel it, drink it because for all the terrible things he had done, this was the one thing he regretted and would do anything to take back. He knew there were was to travel back, but messing with time was risky...especially when he could just forget. He had managed to bury the memory to allow him sleep, but it had clawed it's way out in his dream. He had been forced to relive it all in hideous detail, details he otherwise would not have known. As with most dreams it was flashes now and wondered what...if anything had been real. "I'm not the kind of girl who sticks with one thing too long.."Regulus had nearly forgotten Aceline's presence until her voice shattered his thoughts. "Good call," he smiled. Reg was too flustered to notice the fact that 5 years was a pretty significant amount of time, and Aceline's tone was convincing giving him no reason to doubt her. "I hope you'll stick around to finish up your school career here though," he smiled attempting to be hospitable. "Slytherins get ganged up on enough, it'll be nice to have someone else in our corner," he added deciding his last comment may be misconstrued as a lead on. The last thing Reg needed was another accident.

((I'm flattered))
Aceline rolled her eyes and laughed slightly at Regulus's comment. It felt good to laugh. "Of course you would say that!" Aceline didnt mention that at one point she was one of those girls in those skimpy little robes. Now look at her-all conservative in her too big black bags-er-robes. Lovely what some vodka and a few kisses can do to a girl, isnt it? And Aceline had to admit-at times that school was heaven. But what goes up must come down as the saying goes. There were also the awful catfights (aceline avoided), the nasty rumors (aceline started), and the lack of male attention made the girls more competative than ever. Not that they could ever compete with Aceline. Few could. But it's nice to know they tried.
I hope you'll stick around to finish up your school career here though, Slytherins get ganged up on enough, it'll be nice to have someone else in our corner' Aceline just looked at Regulus with a small smirk. He would learn. They always do.

((haha, I'm flattered that my words have flattered you )) "I'm a teenage guy, what can I say," Regulus smiled innocently. It wasn't his fault...nothing ever seemed to be. It was easy to put blame on other people. Accept the credit when you do good, redirect blame when you do bad. Just another one of life's many lessons taught to him by his father. Orion Black actually hadn't needed to tell Regulus this one though, he of course had, but Regulus would have picked this up just by watching his father carelessly shuck the blame for anything he was accused of. "I actually have a girlfriend at the moment though, so even a school full of witches in short dresses couldn't get me to leave this school," Regulus added the words leaving his mouth before he had the chance to think. Why did he have to mention Indigo? Not that Aceline would much care, but talking about how he loved his girlfriend seemed rather hypocritical considering last nights...'dream.' Perhaps the oddest part was that Regulus actually minded being a hypocrite in this specific instance and the pang of guilt that had been momentarily forgotten had now returned squeezing at his vocal cords, tightening the muscles in his chest. Why did he have to start caring for someone now? Why did it have to be someone as beautiful...as perfect as Indi was? If not for her he would already bare the Dark Mark, but for her Regulus was hesitating. She had shown distaste for the purity of blood arguments he had made despite the fact her blood was pure...tainted by her mothers poor decision to become a gypsy, but pure nonetheless.
