((Well i'm flattered that you'r flattered that your words flattered me. )) "That's no excuse!" Aceline laughed, rolling her eyes at his explanation. It seemed to Aceline that Regulus was trying to pass the blame off to genetics. Like it embryology's fault that he liked staring at girls in tiny robes.
Aceline frowned slightly at the mention that Regulus had a girlfriend. It's not that she liked him or anything at all. He was actually quiet...boring to Aceline. She was just used to boy's always flocking around her and asking her to be their girlfriend. It was not that nice of a change. "Lucky girl." Aceline replied, already on to a new subject. She was probely just as dull as he. "This girl must be something. Tons of beautiful, intelligant, pure girls who would quickly kill to get a second glance out of Regulus Black and you'd give all that up for her. And they tell me romance is dead." Aceline said this honestly, although her voice was still slightly bitter.
Aceline could tell Regulus was distracted. "I'm just taking a guess, and correct me if I'm wrong, but you seem to really like this girl. I also seem to think you fucked this girl over once or twice along the line. You seem like the type." Aceline knew it was none of her business, but she couldnt resist it once the words started spilling out of her mouth. She knew the type. She had guessed it almost the second Regulus had mentioned his girlfriend. The look of guilt that had crossed his face and doubt was obvious. Aceline herself had been fucked over more than once and she was notorious for being quick to cheat.

((haha I'd try to top that, but I'll just end up getting confused))
"I tried," Regulus shrugged. He was normal when it came to looking at girls in skimpy clothes, nothing to be ashamed of. Besides girls who wore clothes like that wore them because they wanted to be looked at, so Regulus was merely helping them achieve that goal.
Regulus had never really thought about it that way until Aceline said it. Which was odd because usually that was exactly the way he way he felt, but with Indi he hadn't felt like he had been giving anything up. The way he saw it he had gained something, he finally had someone who actually cared about him and who he cared about, someone who could make him happy by her mere presence. It was something he had never felt before and something he never wanted to lose. "What can I say I'm good old fashioned romantic," Regulus smirked.
Regulus wasn't exactly sure how to react to Aceline's next words. He wanted to be offended, and at the same time he wanted to know how she could tell. He composed himself quickly, trying to shake off the comment. "Well, I can't really argue that I am the type...or at least I was, but with this girl it's different," he explained able to get the words out clearly seeing as they were the truth. "And if you can see that I really like her, what makes you think I would fuck her over?" Regulus asked curious as to how much he had given away and through which mannerisms.
If a girl he just met could tell he was guilty of something he would really need to avoid Indi...at least until he figured out how to fix this.

((Hmm...hmmm..shure you just don't want to admit that you lost to me? )) Aceline once again rolled her eyes at Regulus's comment, choosing not to answer. "What can I say I'm good old fashioned romantic," Aceline smiled at those words. "I'm shure you are. she said, her voice holding traces of light amusement. "Well, I can't really argue that I am the type...or at least I was, but with this girl it's different," Aceline said nothing-as if she hadnt heard all of this before. "And if you can see that I really like her, what makes you think I would fuck her over?" At first Aceline wasnt shure what to say-or if she should say anything at all-but after a few momments of hesitation decided 'whatever' what's the worst that could happen? "Well, for starters, the momment I saw you-I assumed something was wrong. I knew Slytherin's prince couldnt always be this distracted." she said this with a joking-not at all flirtatious-smile. "Then there's the way you randomely started talking about your girlfriend. Usually a subconscience kind of guilt-or a way of trying to convince yourself 'hey-i'm talking about her-i'm letting are relationship be known-I did nothing wrong-I'm fixing things'. After that there's the look of guilt that crossed your face and the way you seemed to flinch as you spoke her name. Then theres the fact that a guy as gorgeous as you staying commited for long-well-I've been around and i've never seen it done. Plus-if I was completely wrong you would have already jumped to denial, and since you didnt it either means A. your just not that into her or B. you fucked her over." Aceline paused, considering. "Plus-I'm Aceline Perezz, word travels fast when your me."

Reg gave an instinctive smirk. He was of course, not usually so distracted that he would unintentionally bump into someone. Usually there was nothing accidental about being bumped by Regulus Black.
"I didn't fuck her over," Regulus said slightly quicker, and more agitated than he had been hoping for. "I'm quite flattered that you find me gorgeous however," he added with a smile as he tried to recover. "But your little psycho-babble doesn't really work. You say you've never seen an attractive guy stay with a girl, but all that means to me is you had a couple of guys you liked run around on you and now your taking it out me," Regulus explained very matter of factly, trying to make Aceline's logic void due to bias.
"I didn't fuck her over," Regulus said this time insistent, but in full control of his voice. He wanted to threaten Aceline against spreading her theory, but threats would only make him seem guilty. "I care about her, more than anyone else I have ever met, and I would never hurt her...If some other guys have hurt you before well then that sucks, but it doesn't mean we're all that sleezy," Regulus continued desperate to make Aceline see the truth, or at least what he wanted the truth to be, slightly annoyed at the fact that she would try to pin the faults of her ex-boyfriends on and innocent guy, just because he was attractive.

You say you've never seen an attractive guy stay with a girl, but all that means to me is you had a couple of guys you liked run around on you and now your taking it out me," Aceline looked up, slightly stunned. Who the hell did he think he was to talk to her that way? But he wasnt finished, yet. If some other guys have hurt you before well then that sucks, but it doesn't mean we're all that sleezy," Aceline listened to his little speech, anger growing with every word. When he was finished Aceline laughed coldly in his face. "You know, Reg. I really don't give a fuck if you cheated on that little bitch. Not my concern. I have better things to do than fuss about some little boy's love life." Aceline smiled, trying to calm herself, she was out of line with the bitch comment...what did the girl do to her? Nothing. They usually do nothing at all. Aceline softened her voice, although fury still burned in her eyes. "If this is how you act with people you don't know I really pity those fools you call your friends. Aceline wanted to add-but she had to much pride for that. She knew Regulus probely thought she was some crazy bipolar chick and for some reason-this thought mad eher laugh.

Reg's fists clenched tightly at his side, his hand instinctively clutching for his wand as he realized it was in very bad taste to strike a girl. Hexing one however, seemed perfectly ok. It was the bitch line that sent him over. Regulus could care less what anyone thought of him and write it off as jealousy, but Indigo was where he drew the line. "Do not call my girlfriend a bitch," he seethed. "And I think it's wise that you just stay out of my affairs all together," he added glad that Aceline seemed to be offended by the very thought of every recalling there conversation.
It was interesting that he had chosen the word affairs, of course he hadn't meant it to mean anything other than his business and his life in general. But in fact it was his 'affair' which basically caused this little tiff. Funny how a word could mean two different things without the speaker ever even realizing it. Of course it would be an impossible assumption to think Reg's word choice had given anything away.
"Your right it was complete irrational of me to go off on a stranger who accuses me of cheating on my girlfriend with no evidence," Regulus said, his voice clearly dripping sarcasm. Of course Regulus didn't really have many 'friends' he had followers, he had admirers, and there were those he hung out with, but he often got into it with them as well. The fact was though as far as that unconditional always there for you friend...Reg wasn't sure he had one. He had Indi, and she was his everything

Aceline snatched her wand out of her robes and twirled it in her fingers as she looked at Regulus with a mocking smile. She actually liked him. That's a crap way to treat people you like, is it not? But this is Aceline Perezz and she is anything but nice. "Your right Reg." She sneered, not even trying to hide her disgust with the whole situation. "Calling her a bitch would be an insult to dogs. I'm almost supprised, can't imagine why though. I only assumed you had better taste...but with that blood traitor of a brother...I guess the apple doesnt fall far from the tree, after all. Your family is living proof of that matter." Aceline's was shure she was crossing the line- but since when did she half do anything? She watched with amusement as the anger flared acrossed Regulus's face. "Your right it was complete irrational of me to go off on a stranger who accuses me of cheating on my girlfriend with no evidence," Aceline laughed slightly, as if he was sharing a joke and not practically insulting her. "Guilt is the price we pay willingly for doing what we are going to do anyway” She replied simply. She stepped closer to Regulus. "I apoligize if you are just to weak to except what has already been done. That is...if it has been done." She added the 'if' for his benefit only "Which I'm positive it has...but like you said I have no evidence, nor do I have the right to assume that your a crap boyfriend. You probely only appear that way. I'm shure your simply daaarling." Aceline was not yet done mocking him. Though the last sentence was almost an apoligy. The last thing Aceline wanted was enemies. Especially when her and Regulus could have so much more fun being...friends.

Regulus felt his hand tighten around the hilt of his wand to the point that he feared he would leave indents in the wood. He hated hearing Indi's name dragged through the mud by this girl he had just met. 'she's just jealous' he kept repeating in his head keeping him from cursing her, besides she had drawn her wand now as well and the last thing he wanted was full on duel in such an open area where it would be all to easy to get caught.
Then came the salvation of Aceline mocking his family rather than Indigo, a smirk worked its way across his lips. Regulus didn't take kindly to his family being mocked, but that was something he had learned to defend himself against. He never really had a girlfriend who he would get so fired up over before...he wondered if he was only getting riled now because of what he had done.
"You're really going to attack my family?" Regulus challenged, almost laughing at the thought. "The Blacks are wizard royalty, the most ancient existing wizarding family. As for my brother...well even the best trees can't always produce perfect fruits, but I assure you I am nothing like him," he said sounding disgusted by the thought when part of him still envied his brothers courage to go against the family. "Just who are you to mock the Serpentine Prince? You're just some pathetic little French tart, who got kicked out of school for using the wrong fork for salad," Regulus returned fire. Okay, so using the wrong fork was pretty weak, but he needed something and that was the first thing he thought of.
"I am not weak...and I won't admit to doing what I didn't," Reg said crossly. There were plenty of things Aceline should be apologizing for, but that was not one of them. He was guilty of dreaming about another girl...odd, but certainly understandable and easily forgivable. It was Aceline's last line that made him smile. "Appearances can be deceiving," he said finally putting his wand away as he realized he wouldn't be using it, and it clearly hadn't worked as an intimidation tactic. "Sadly, you'll never know just how...darling I can be," Reg smirked before turning to leave, "Now if you'll excuse me I have better ways of wasting my time."
