[OOC:Make this maybe a weekend or two later...]
Ah, life was simply wonderful, wasn't it? There really could be no fault in life, well, in Mariella's eyes there wasn't. She was glad that it was finally Saturday, that there were no more classes to get in the way of her endeavors, to finally allow her to be with her boyfriend. A wonderful bit of icing on the cake too was that they were going on a day long date! This was enough to make Mariella dance about in but her knickers, singing Donna Summer's 'Love to Love You Baby'. Yes, she did like some things that Muggles did, like some of their fashions were tolerable and their music she couldn't help but swing her hips to at times. Even if she was anti-Mudblood, she really couldn't deny them something they were good at, one of the few things they were left alone for. A grin was spread on her lips, as Mariella stopped her dancing finally and looked down at her outfit. She was sure he'd love it, or at the least she assumed he would. A black micro skirt that she felt would show off her legs, she just prayed it wouldn't flip up while she was on the broom. She didn't mind her dorm mates seeing her knickers, she didn't need anyone else to. A lighter red turtle neck was her top, something to keep her warm while still being comfortable. She did have a shirt underneath, just in case.
Quickly pulling on her clothes, a smile danced across Mariella's lips as she lifted one leg and pulled on her light red knee-high socks then the other, slipping them into her Mary Janes smoothly before humming again. Pulling a ribbon from her bed, Mariella took the crimson tie and used it as an accessory of sorts, hips shaking as she stood there. Again, she was beginning to move to the beat of a song. This time it was an unnamed one rather than an artist's, enjoying her thoughts of what might happen. She grabbed her wand from her nightstand, exactly where she had left it from when she had woke up. Casting a quick spell, a mirroring charm showed her image, Mariella twirling before smirking and blowing a kiss. Well, didn't she just look scrumptious? Flicking her wand, she got rid of the image before turning about and grabbing the most important part of any outfit, at least in her mind. The necklace Kalib had made for her was in her hand, eyes softening as her excitement relaxed a bit as she remembered how important this was. She wrapped her hands about the charm, squeezing and feeling a warmth, maybe it was in her mind, but it was there. She knew it had to be what the movies always told you was love!
Loosening her tight grip on the charm, Mariella slowly began to slide the charm onto her neck, grinning again as she felt that excitement building. She knew she'd better hurry or she'd be late! Well, she really couldn't be late, she knew they had the whole day to kill so there was nothing to worry about. Mariella sighed softly as she grabbed her wand again, swishing it as she summoned her messenger bag and broom to her, simply not feeling the urge to bend down and pick up both things manually. Yes, being a magical being could mean you could be so lazy, couldn't it? With the messenger bag set in its normal place, over her shoulder, and here broom held behind her back, Mariella knew she could finally be off and out for her date.
She was gnawing on her bottom lip gently, glad that she had finally remembered to apply the smear-proof lip gloss, her nervous habit not messing up her over all look. She did feel that light make up could help pull an outfit together. An interesting thought rose in her head as she quickly began her walk towards the exit of the House. She said she'd meet Kalib there, simply knowing that she'd be taking longer than he would. She did wonder if men went through this whole process of primping up to look good for a date? Did they try to look any more appealing other than a shower and a slight styling of the hair? Mariella chuckled softly, shaking her head. She knew some men paid closer attention to their style and outer appearance than others, but there was nothing wrong with that. Kalib did have a fashion sense that was nice, she liked it. It seemed her thoughts had carried her into the dungeons, looking about them, her shoes hitting upon the ground with a slight click-thud, click-thud.
The lighter it came, the closer she was to the hallways. A smile touched her lips as she was in the main hallways, quickly turning and making her way towards the Great Hall. With a quick, maybe slightly impersonal lunch they would be able to start their date off and have all the fun they wanted!

The was only one plausible reason that could force Kalib to put so much thought into his attire, behavior, and what he chose to bring along with him – having a girlfriend and actually doing it right this time. He generally didn’t mind his appearance too much (the vain side of him firmly told him that he looked good no matter what he wore);countless times he had found himself guilty of loving more then one, always running off when he found the next best thing (but was that really a bad thing?); and honestly, who cared if he felt the need to spoil his girlfriend in little presents? Yes, all of that was generically his responses to such things, but today seemed different. Today wasn’t going to be interrupted; today was going to be a wonderful day-long date; today was going to be flawless in every way and perfect to a ‘t’. That was how today played over in his mind, over and over again. Saturday had simply taken too long to get here and now that it was, nothing was going to bring him down in the slightest.
It was these sorts of thoughts consuming him as Kalib began shuffling about to get ready. Today (along with being amazing) was also going to be casual as it was a non-work day for anyone who was sensible. Jeans seemed fitting enough (although Kalib took care to make sure it was his most stunning) and pulled over his fine torso a tight grey t-shirt, emphasizing greatly the fact that behind his hidden brains there were indeed bronze. That said, it was his favorite shirt just because it seemed to be the one that gave off the biggest tease to the ladies. (And if he were being honest with himself, he knew Mariella would do all in her power to return the favor). After spiking is short hair he pulled over his lighter black jacket and laced his old black tennis shoes. There was something to be said over fashion when it came to flying – he wasn’t about to choose sexy over comfort (besides, casual right?)
While he stood examining himself in the mirror, he heard one of the beds creak and knew who was finally waking. “Going for the casually cool look there, eh Pyro?” Zane had become accustom to calling him that ever since Kalib had sent his fire dragon after Zane and ruining his only pair of pajamas. He glanced over his shoulder to his bed-ragged friend: “Something like that sleepy head. Were you out partying last night or what? It’s almost eleven you know; you already missed breakfast.” Zane blinked with a wry grin, “What can I say? The ladies love me.” Kalib’s expression grew into something of interested doubt, “Is that right?” Zane smiled superiorly but Kalib still didn’t believe him. “Spent the night in detention then, right?” Zane’s face fell. “Curse you Kalib! Just let me have some fun once in a while!” Kalib laughed this time, “You’re gunna need to get a girlfriend to do that.” Zane looked mockingly outraged: “I can’t! You keep stealing all the good ones!” Kalib gave up with that, letting Zane understand silently that he was indeed correct – any girl worth dating was booked for today.
With a last look over himself, Kalib gave a wave of his wand and caught his broom and bouquet sharply. “See ya around Zane,” he smirked, “If I don’t come back tonight you’ll know where I am.” Kalib barely escaped the dorm room when one of Zane’s shoes hit the back of the door.
Kalib walked along the musty dungeons, vaguely wondering why it was the Slytherins had to be placed in such a dark and demented place. Their personalities could reflect such a place at times, but really – who would choose to live down here out of free will? His wonderings didn’t last too long, soon enough up in the Entrance Hall. His gaze was already prowling, searching for his companion for the day. As he set off out into the Courtyard, his mind was put at ease. Enough though her form faced away from him, Mariella’s beauty still managed to stun him. And it didn’t help his presumptions had been correct – she was going to play dirty too, barely concealing herself in a tiny jet black skirt. He eyed her greedily, wondering how much better the view would be from in front.
However, he was not going to pass up an opportunity to play the true role of a boyfriend when it presented itself so eagerly. Kalib strode soundlessly up behind her and pulled her into a hug from behind, materializing his 12-rosed bouquet before her as he whispered “Morning Gorgeous” into her ear. Sometimes life was just too pleasant.

Mariella's eyes swept over the courtyard once, twice then thrice, all in an effort to hopefully find her VIP of the day. Well, not only the day but of more, this day just felt extra special. When her eyes landed upon other couples and people that just wandered alone, basking in the comfortable cool of the late morning. She just hadn't had the luck of finding the handsome young man that she wanted to. Looking down at the ground, Mariella couldn't help the slight frown that touched her lips. Had she come too early and that's why he wasn't here? Or had she been to late and he was looking for her? She knew she had taken a while to get dressed, but really, she couldn't have been all that late. Gnawing on her bottom lip again, she couldn't believe that she was actually getting this anxious. She knew Kalib would be here in no time, although she wished he was here now! She was just so ready to start the day off. She really couldn't get ahead of herself though, she would have to be patient. Taking a deep breath, Mariella released her bottom lip before releasing the breath. Staring out onto the far horizon, looking at the trees that littered it, a smile touched her lips just thinking how beautiful this would look at sunset....together....with him.
She was a woman that head liked to stay up in the clouds at time, enjoying her little fantasies even though she needn't fantasize when she had it right there. She knew that Kalib would do most anything for her, just as she would for him. She really didn't know how to show it as eloquently as he did though, with such beautiful gifts and kind words. Mariella really wasn't able to put emotions of this extent into word. Love was such a complicated thing in her mind. In the past, she had been in lust and had puppy love but nothing anyone would ever really take serious. Never until this...Sighing softly, she placed her stuff on the ground, stretching her arms above her head. She knew she could hope that he could feel it though, in her actions and the way she looked at him. She prayed he knew how much she really cared for him, how dear he was to her heart. As her arms dropped to her side, Mariella's eyes settled on the horizon again.
She stiffened up however as she felt someone wrap their arms around her, instantly going into a defensive mode. Although, she didn't attack, a smile spreading on her lips as she felt at how the arms were holding her, seeing the roses. The greeting that met her ears made blush flood to her cheek, warmth spreading into her chest and face. Slowly, her hand lifted, taking the roses in her hands delicately before turning about and hugging tight to Kalib. Of course, she was careful with the roses, holding them over his shoulder as she wrapped her arms around him. "Mi amor!" she exclaimed as she pulled back far enough as to hold the bouquet to her nose, taking a deep scent of the precious flowers. They smelt lovely, making her feel simply wondrous. Lifting her head, she looked at Kalib, her face displaying such extreme emotion. She looked flattered yet so happy, and it seemed she had fallen head over heels in love again. A soft giggle left her mouth as she hugged him again, giving him a light kiss on the lips as a simple greeting. "Good morning..."

The greeting he received in return was worth having to stay behind her. He almost smirked when she froze against him and something in him, perhaps the protective side that had thus far managed to scare away most guys from trying to swoon her, gave a satisfactory roar of delight. At least he didn’t have to worry about her if she was so frightened into thinking anyone else would dare hold her.
Still, in a matter of moments she quickly realized no harm would come to her and relaxed again, delicately winding her fingers about the base of the bouquet. Kalib smoothly dropped the weight to her, who immediately managed to swivel around to face him. It was one of those bittersweet moment – while he would never deny her closeness, he didn’t have time to admire her stature either before she latched herself around him. A deep chuckled echoed from him as she pulled back, looking like a child at Christmas. He vaguely wondered if his expression reflected anything similar but didn’t bother dwelling on it.
Kalib eyed her as she spoke a simple hello, finding that her selection in attire was well worth the wait since they had decided to spend the day together. It was exceedingly hard to keep his gaze above waist level where her red turtleneck was greeting him. (All in all, the view was magnificent). He couldn’t stop staring and when he recalled his senses back to him, a perfectly placed smile of apology rested on his lips. “Sorry,” he grinned, “It’s just I didn’t think you could ever look any better then you already do and I seemed to have been proved wrong.” Another run through, “Sometimes it’s nice to be proved wrong.”

Mariella's eyes were shining as she looked at him, electrical currents coursing through her veins. These little sparks always arose when she was feeling happy, but seemed to get an unseen boost of energy from the fact that she had been placed here with Kalib. Looking him over, Mariella's innocent, gleeful smile turned into a mild surprised happiness. He...looked, well to put it in the most simplistic of forms, hot! Mariella's lips had a minuscule part, taking in a deep breath as she looked him over once and again just as he was her. She could see pass the black jacket, the tight t-shirt that conformed to his wonderful physique. Oh, she had just innocently pressed herself there and now she was suppressing the urge to run her finger over them, her mind switched from its innocent side to the more teenager side. The shirt, however, wasn't the only thing that did it, the jeans and the jacket all pulled together to make him look ravishing....She might actual take her mind up on that ravish offer...
It seemed she pulled her mind up right before he did, seeing him staring at what looked to be her legs. She could only smirk slightly, chuckling inwardly, knowing that her pick of outfit for their date was positively perfect. It seemed he really did like it, either that or there was something horribly wrong with it. By the look on his face, however, it didn't seem like disgust was the cause of the staring. Although, she did think that it was about time for the date to start, giving a soft whistle. She giggled softly as he looked at him. She immediately began to shake her head at his apology, blushing in slight embarrassment at his compliment. "Well, I picked this outfit out just for you..." she said, smirking slightly at him, hoping to combat with a bit of her embarrassment. "So I am definitely glad you like it....I must say that you look...amazing." She didn't know what else to say, looking him over once again before simply smiling at him.
"So...are you hungry?" Mariella asked, having not eaten herself that day. She had, however, packed a small lunch for two in her messenger bag. Well, she really couldn't take the credit for packing the lunch, she had gotten the House Elves to make up a nice lunch of iced pumpkin juice, a chicken salad sandwich, roast beef sandwich and even a few snacks. Yes, she had enchanted her messenger bag a long while back to hold many things, knowing that she liked to stuffs lots of items into the bag on a whim especially when she simply 'felt' she needed something. She would live without her food however, if need be, making it till whenever he truly wanted to eat.

There was definitely something to be said about teenaged relationships. It seemed both were willing to listen to anything either wanted to say, to mention. There was a steady relationship that was growing into something more and perhaps if and or when it ended, they would always remain friends and more then likely steal kisses from one another, “as friends.” But with the nice, polite version of a relationship out of the way, there was the part that could simply not stand distance and wanted nothing more then to whisper sweet nothings back and forth and portray love without words as well. Both parts, which he tried desperately to keep delicately balanced out in Kalib’s mind, switched back and forth in ruling over him against his best intentions. No need to scare her you little snake, part of his mind laughed at him. You can play with her, but do it gently. A smile lifted his features, thoughts always wandering.
“Well, I picked this outfit out just for you...” His smile only grew, although he could tell it had formed into something of a smirk. “Is that right? Just for little old me? I’m flattered.” Unable to stop himself, he cupped her neck softly with one hand and kissed her cheek, “Thank you; it’s very dazzling.” And that it was. He had to distract himself with loving comments and showing small amounts of affection to keep himself from staring too long. Was it his fault she looked amazing? She picked it out for you dork; of course it is. Kalib wanted to laugh, but in a good way. Knowing she’d bothered going through the trouble (and probably more then on any other morning he presumed) made his pride glow. “So I am definitely glad you like it… I must say that you look...amazing.” Mmm, so she too had noticed? After all, not even Kalib looked this amazing on a regular day. “Just for you,” he allowed, returning the comment. And that it was – a special occasion, or rather, for a special person, would he put that much thought into his appearance.
“So…are you hungry?” The latter part of him previously discussed, the one that didn’t like distance so much, flopped with the sensible side and replied “I’m just going to assume you mean hungry for food.” Kalib had to try very hard to keep his laugh to himself. He studied her for a moment and was glad to note he was able to read her just a little bit clearer then he could before. “Come on; let’s go find a more unpopulated place to eat. Hate to think we’re going to be interrupted just because someone passing was hungry. I just might throw something at them if they try and steal away your attention from me.” Disconnecting him from her (although not completely – keeping her hand closed in his was naturally a given) Kalib steered her along. The lake was as good a place as any.

'Is that right? Just for little old me? I’m flattered.' Mariella nodded her head, smirking. "Well then I think I accomplished exactly what I wanted to", she said, smiling as she felt his hand on the back of her neck, his lips lightly on her cheek, It felt so nice. "Thank you, amor..." She chuckled softly as she saw him begin to get a little distracted once again, biting bottom lip contently. She had done such a wonderful job in pulling this whole outfit together, so glad he was enjoying it all. Although, it seemed like the both of them had done their best to look magnificent for one another for Kalib look stupendous, awe-striking. 'Just for you'. Mariella grinned, eyebrow rising and nodding her head. "Well I most definitely like, it makes you looking positively sublime...I love it." She wasn't lying either, lightly placing her hand on his chest in simple adoration of how Kalib looked.
Mariella couldn't help but laugh, shaking her head slowly as she looked at Kalib, eyebrow rising slightly. "Hm, why, what else might you be hungry for Kalib?" She smirked at him as she gently tapped her bag, nodding at his comment though. She did let him know that she had lunch down for him as well, nodding her head at his comment. She would want a lunch in a more private area. Not only because of people and their rude actions of taking someone else's lunch but also because this was supposed to be their date. Privacy and a little romance was supposed to be key, wasn't it? She smiled as he began to lead the way, her hand fitting, as she felt, so perfectly in his. She didn't know why her mind went to these thoughts, feeling so wonderful in his arms, a bit more complete when she was in his presence. He just made her feel so much better, made her feel like she was...well, complete.
As the lake drew closer she knew this would be their dining area, releasing his hand lightly before beginning to dig about in her bag. It was hilarious to think of how much she might carry in the bag, although Mariella cleared out the bag periodically to make sure there weren't any spilled contents or anything that might cause harm to any of her other contents. She finally found what she needed, a tightly folded blanket along with a large brown bag. As convienent as it might look, Mariella really had felt the need to take all this with her today. She had a small compact, mirror, the snacks, and few various other date necessity. Smiling, she held out the blanket for Kalib to take and fold out, giggling softly. She was the lady after all, he should have to set up, shouldn't he? She did bring everything.

“Well I most definitely like, it makes you looking positively sublime...I love it.” Mmm, her hand felt so warm against his chest. It was this hand that he wrapped smoothly with his own, kissed it softly, and began to steer her away. Sad as it was, he liked being in charge. One of those male ego things that neither woman nor man could ever quite explain. It was like why girls crazed over shoes – what was up with that anyways? They weren’t that important… Yet that was another matter entirely and currently very unimportant. In fact, reflecting on it, Kalib found if hysterical he should be thinking about women and what they clothed their feet in while he had a perfectly fine girl with him right now and couldn’t look any better regardless of her shoe wear. That said, it didn’t take him long to start stealing glancing at her again. Was it really all that wrong that he couldn’t look away?
“Hmm, why, what else might you be hungry for Kalib?” Kalib chuckled, eyeing her as they followed the light dirt path down to the lake. “My, my – and here I thought you knew me.” His expression was set in a tease, looking genuinely hurt that she didn’t understand what else he could possibly be hungry for. It was almost mockery, thinking she could dress like that and expect him to keep peace at mind. It was one of those silent taunts that drove any guy up a wall. Although, he wasn’t exactly one to speak – I mean, why else would he look the way he did? Kalib didn’t just wake up and decide it was time to play flirtatious. No, he had his reasons; just like Mariella had hers. They were still simply playing the game they had started back in Hogsmeade and one neither would give up on. It was fun watching how far they were allowed to go before being shoved away and told it was time to be reasonable again. The sad, alluring game all teens were pulled into.
Kalib almost thought about being mad when Mariella slipped her hand from his, leaving his own feeling considerably empty and watched her rummage through her bag without real interest. Of all the things she was wearing, her bag was not the most interesting – he was still having trouble keeping his gaze higher then her waist. Lazily he ran a hand through his spiky hair, loving how his casual touch could roam through the hairs and have them spring right back into place. It was during this process that Mariella shoved a folded blanket towards him, a carefully placed smile on her lips. Kalib let out a laughing sigh and dropped his hand from his head and took the blanket, flapping it open into the light breeze and letting it drift to the ground before letting it go. “Is the placement okay?” he asked with a grin. He expected something to the effect of no, a little more to the left if you wouldn’t mind… but before Mariella had a chance, he flopped down on the blanket. After tugging off his jacket and shoving it off to the side, Kalib laid down with his arms tucked behind his head, a look of ease resting along his features as he closed his eyes. Perhaps she would take it as a movement of relaxation, but in all truth Kalib was doing his best to be a gentlemen and restraining from looking up her skirt. Naughty little boy, aren’t you Kalib? He hadn’t heard that voice in a while, the one that echoed within his own mind. Nah, he retorted casually, I just know how to make Slytherin look good.

Mariella couldn't help the slight pout of a look that touched her lips as she saw the hurt look touch Kalib's face. Now, she was teasing him as well, but did he have to look so convincing. " I think I know you very well Señor Hemlock..."Mariella stated in a matter-of-factly way. "I just try to keep my thoughts from the perverse side..." A cocky, Slytherin-esque smirk painted itself on her lips as she snickered softly to herself. Of course her statement was a blatant lie. Mariella's mind could stray very far into the gutter, thinking some very inappropriate for her age. Often when Mariella was with her female friends in her dorm and they all were laid about their beds, speaking, they often strayed from the innocent topic of boys to the forbidden topic of sex and such. Girls were such interesting creatures in groups, speaking secretly of these things and gossiping of what they had done with boys. Guys were loud about it, loving to brag to all their mates about how good it had been and such. Yet another example of how passive and quiet women seem to be and men were much louder and boisterous, although there were always those few exceptions...
Mariella grinned at the sigh, knowing that she was messing with his mood at the moment. Letting go of his hand so suddenly and then searching through the bag with no explanation to him. She could be so mean at times, but she would make it up to him, he should know that over the day she would make it worth his while. Mariella brushed the strands of hair that wandered into her face away, biting her lip gently as Kalib placed the blanket down. She was already formulating a comment in her mind...'Is the placement okay?'Perfect little que in. "Well actually a little bit up and to the right..." She teased, however in mid sentence he had plopped down onto the blanket, Mariella giggling softly. Mariella couldn't resist the sharp intake of breath as she saw his full upper body, no jacket in the way. Why did he have to have this effect on her, taking her breath away with things as simple as that. Biting her bottom lip, she was just glad he didn't see her. He would most definitely poke fun at her.
Slowly, she made her way onto the black blanket, placing the brown bag down before crawling over to Kalib. She was just studying him at the moment, eyes scoping him. He looked so free, relaxed...her hand slowly moved outward, her fingers getting mere centimeters from his face, not wanting to pull him from his state. He looked...so angelic. This wasn't to say that he wasn't sweet, but he was quite the devil, mischievous. She knew that if she were to bring this to him out loud he would act hurt, but he would know he was no angel. He was a little devil who loved to tease and cause mischief. But he could be so sweet and kind at the same time...That is what she loved so much about him. He was three dimensional, not simplistic. Mariella, caught up in her thought had allowed her hand to graze Kalib's face, surprising herself as her hand quickly snatched back. She began to chastise herself inwardly, her finger tips gently returning to his face, hand gently cupping his cheek. She didn't need him to move...he needn't do nothing. Hell, if he didn't move after that, she'd even postpone lunch and cuddle up to him.

“I think I know you very well Señor Hemlock...” Hmm, so she did, did she? Kalib was about to test her on that when again, she spoke, “I just try to keep my thoughts from the perverse side…” He scowled at her playfully; even if she was bulls-eye right, no need to rub it in. He had to give her credit though: maybe he wasn’t the most difficult person to read out there, but he certainly wasn’t easiest. It was nice to know Mariella knew him just a little bit better then he had cared noticed. It was a pleasant surprise to note he wasn’t scared of getting close to her. For once in his life he was doing things right and not flaunting about with another girl. Needless to say, watching her be so hurt after their breakup, Kalib was going to do his best not to repeat the action. It had hurt worse with her then any other girl before – he wasn’t about to put Mariella though that as well.
“Well actually a little bit up and to the right...” It didn’t matter; he was already sitting and pulling his jacket over his head by that point. As he closed his eyes, he became hyper aware of the movements around him. Perhaps it was paranoia on some level, or maybe he was really just that observant: either way, it seemed he could hear every breath that escape her lips, every shift in weight, any movement he could hear her clothes ruffle against them. He enjoyed picturing her behind his eyelids, wondering what sort of expressions were crossing her face. Kalib felt he owed her just that little bit of privacy – if she needed to compose herself, now was the time to do so. That in mind, he was curious when he heard her kneel down beside him, listening to the bag crunch for a moment and fall silent. It was a moment before he felt her move, saw her move in his mind, to sit beside him. Something about the way she was breathing seemed to have changed: shallower breaths, like she was scared she just might break him if she moved too quickly.
There was another pause and he comforted himself with her quiet in takes of air, waiting. It seemed she were in a rather dreamlike state, her fingers brushing his cheek so lightly he could have mistaken them for a moth. A moments hesitation, like she just only now realized what she was doing, and she withdrew them quickly. It didn’t take long for her cool palm to find him again, slowly moving along his cheek bone to rest. He couldn’t help peeking through one eye, finally making his envisionment of her materialize before him. She looked almost lost and that, on some level, amused him. Against her smooth palm his expression softened, studying her. “I’m not going anywhere,” he smiled gently.

Mariella's breathing had slowed, eyes still examining Kalib, hair falling in waves over her shoulder. The ribbon really was nothing but an accessory, doing nothing to hold the hair down. She ignored it however, not wanting to let her hand leave his face. If she was afraid of waking him from his state before, she was terrified to pull her hand away, that she would wake him and forever this moment would be lost to the gentle breeze that teased them that day. Her index finger lightly stroked his face, touching the warm skin and trying to commit it to memory, all of this. Him, his face, each little curve and rise and fall. She didn't know why she felt the instinctive urge to learn this about him, to know him on such a level, her eyes staring down at him lovingly, although they seemed to have pulled back far into her own thoughts, the light brown orbs seemingly vacant as she curiously and ever so lightly explored his face. This was one of those times where it felt like time had slowed or simply did not apply to them.
Her hand froze though as he spoke, although, she could feel his expression soften, smiling slightly and nodding her head slowly. "I know...", she said, her hand stroking a few times before slowly beginning to rise from his face. One of her fingers grazed over so lightly, a butterfly soft touch, against his lip. That last touch sent an electrical shock through her finger and body and into her own lips, compelling her to do something that had become as natural as breathing to her. Leaning downward, she brushed her lips against his lightly, kissing him gently. This wasn't a kiss that was going to lead to a makeout session, or one of playfulness. She was curious...She wanted to actually think about how his lips felt against hers, how she could feel the electricity run between them, to feel with not only with her body but with her mind as well. Her fingertips lightly touched Kalib's cheek, feeling there too. This all felt so very perfect, it made her tingle, a euphoric sparkling.
Perfection was not going to be allowed this early, however, her stomach protesting to other parts of her body getting attention over it. A low growl sounded from Mariella's stomach, a warm blush touch her cheeks as she slowly pulled back and away from him. She couldn't help the giggle the crept and bubbled pass her lips, just thinking of how silly it must be, getting interrupted by an empty stomach. "So..." she said, not sure what he would say of her actions. "It seems like my stomach it protesting not being fed...You ready to eat?" Her eyes moved to look at the brown bag, crawling, carefully, a bit over and picking up the bag before returning to Kalib. Opening it, she began to put the items out. First the iced pumpkin juices, the sandwiches following, and something Mariella had asked for specifically. First was a little bag of biscuits, a sweet treat for now or later, and the other a large bulbous red fruit. It was a pomegranate, something she ate all the time when she'd go back to Spain, adoring the beautiful outer shell of the red fruit and all the sweet juice-filled seeds inside Mariella adored fruit, so she just thought that even if Kalib wouldn't eat them, it would be a good snack for her. Waving her hand, she placed her brown paper bag under her large emerald one and smiled at Kalib. "Anything look good?"

It humored him that Mariella’s mind seemed to be going in slow motion, processing his words with extra care. As her hand lifted again, trailing along his face, he closed his one eye again, sighing in complete contentment. It was ridiculous how amazing she made him feel. He could have lain there all day, just letting her hands stray along whatever feature he may possess. He certainly would never deny her that pleasure, wondering how she could ever get as much joy out of it as he was. Something about the way her fingers grazed his cheek; it sent small unnoticeable shivers down his spine. It was something no one had ever been able to give him, not that way. It was like she was talking to him even though no movement came form her lips, no words reached his ears. He was almost beginning to feel sleepy when he felt her weight shift again, and there was movement from her lips now.
Involuntarily a moan escaped him. Kalib didn’t really care what she took it as, but it was something of a pleasurable groan. There was something she was doing – he didn’t exactly know what it was – but Kalib was certain he had never in all his experience of dating been kissed like that. He wasn’t entirely sure what Mariella was looking for either, but he wasn’t about to let her be disappointed with him. Kalib leaned upward, wondering if he could even do her justice the way she was kissing him now. It seemed silly he should be worried about it, but still… There was something different and it was driving him mad that he couldn’t figure out what it was. Perhaps it wasn’t anything that could be named? Maybe it was indefinable? That seemed probable. Before he had really decided anything, and much too quickly, she pulled back gently and Kalib let his head fall back against his arms, curious if she had found whatever it is she was looking for. Although, he didn’t care break the small moment… Whatever words escaped him, surely they wouldn’t own up to what he had just felt?
It seemed he didn’t have to worry about it much, smiling as he heard Mariella’s stomach give a soft growl to inform her she was starving. Something about food made him feel like he was too relaxed, propping himself up on his elbows as he watched Mariella drag the bag over to her. As she searched through it and began to pull out bits and pieces of their meal, Kalib realized just how hungry he actually was. Suddenly even a grape look appetizing. “Anything look good?” Before he could stop himself, he chuckled “I thought we already discussed your appearance?” She certainly did indeed look good, but was aware that was not what she was referring to. “Food wise,” he added lightly, “Yeah.” Careful not to let himself tip, Kalib snatched one of the few sandwiches and unwrapped it, taking a full and hunger-deprived bite. He quickly recognized it to be from the kitchens and grinned. “Do you always steal from those little House Elves? It’s not nice to use your size against them you know. Just because they can be a bit intimidating doesn’t mean you need to scare food out of them.” He smirked, finding his slowly tensing body relaxing again. Taking another bit, he added through a slightly stuffed mouth “It’s good though.”

Mariella's body tingled, feeling as if a sudden beat had run through her as she heard the moan escape Kalib's lips. It seemed to reach her ears, and draw her own softer, higher pitched sigh of pleasure. Now, she had sighed in pleasure before, and from all Kalib did it was no surprise, but this was different. It was pulled from a depth inside her, something that was if temporarily reaching at the pool that was a joining of her physical and spiritual being. She felt tied to Kalib in this moment, no one from the outer world would be able to pull them away. She doubted if a whole league of dementors came they'd be able to suck their happiness and warmth and souls away. Another wave of warmth crashed into her, as if she had drank some hot tea and it was spreading throughout her body and to her very fingertips. Kalib was pressing back, he was trying to find what she had started, to give back what she was giving him. At first, it seemed that he was worried with just compensating her, although it began to slip away bit by bit, second by second. He was just beginning to discover it, Mariella feeling a new feeling of own start to rise--oh why did her damned hunger have to interrupt them?!
A small flash of frustration was on her face but stayed relaxed, knowing that there would be time to explore and she wouldn't be confined to only his face...Now one might take that in a perverted light, but Mariella had meant that in the most innocent of ways, enjoying this new side of her boyfriend that she had began to discover. Was this really something that she should be doing, though? Was it too mature? No, Mariella would never agree with that. If it had come so naturally to her then obviously it was not too mature for her, this exploration into things deeper than simple physical aspects. To look at the soul behind them and to understand what was actually occurring...Oh, she could not wait for that to happen again. Mariella had this smile on her lips that simply told that she would be trying this late, so there would be no worries that this was a one time only thing. She really couldn't be as cruel to do that to Kalib, especially after she heard that delightful groan he had made.
Mariella began to chuckle softly shaking her head slightly. His jokes, they were all too funny, she simply adored him for having such a good sense of humor. "Well, I guess you're right, I do look good." Mariella was smirking of course, cockily looking at Kalib before laughing. Reaching out, she plucked up a chicken salad sandwich, unwrapping it and quickly taking a bite of the morsel. Of course, her bites were much smaller, chewing thoroughly before swallowing and taking another one. It didn't take as long as it sounded though, she had learned to speed up her eating pace. Smirking as she chewed, Mariella shrugged her shoulders lightly. "Well, if they didn't make themselves such easy targets..."she said softly after swallowing. "Not to mention they make good food in a snap." To emphasize her point, she snapped her fingers at the same time, grinning. "I'm glad you like it..." That answer almost sounded like she had taken the time to prepare this meal for them, although she had thought carefully of the assortment of foods, something that she thought would go well together. By the way he was filling his cheeks, however, it seemed he was really enjoying the meal. She did actually have a much sweeter treat for later that evening, something he would have to wait for. She would just hope he'd enjoy it...
Picking up her iced pumpkin juice, Mariella took a small sip, grinning at the crisp taste of the spices that seemed to just pop because of the icy temperature. It really was delicious. As she sipped slowly though, she couldn't help the thought that popped into her head. A trademark of almost any teen movie she had ever seen, something that was as classic as the fumbled kiss; a girlfriend feeding their boyfriend. Mariella finished up her sandwich, a smile on her face and a happy glint in her eyes. As soon as her sandwich was gone she was in her large bag, pulling her wand out from the top. Grabbing the pomegranate, Mariella placed her wand against the hard flesh of the fruit before casting a silent and extremely careful diffindo. The outer shell slowly began to cut, a smile forming on Mariella's lips as finished cutting it in all the needed spots, pulling it open to reveal all the juice filled seeds. Eyes lighting up, she set a quarter of the fruit down before plucking a seed off carefully and holding it out mere centimeters from Kalib's lips. "Try? It's good..." She wasn't sure if he had tried thr fruit before so she might as well make him feel good about it.

Clearly she was just as disappointed to stop as he was which in some odd way gave Kalib some reassurance. At least he hadn’t let her down in whatever her little quest was leading to. It was nice to know he could hold up his end – probably another one of those male egotistic things again, although he wasn’t willing to put that much thought into at as there were much better things to occupy his mind right now. His sandwich being one of them. He greedily had it all down in a few bite, measuring up to the rap men had for being pig-like eaters. Kalib wasn’t fazed by, it figuring of all the things she could be concerned with, his diet was not high on any important list. Regrettably, he could think of several things that he’d rather not mention that she would need to worry herself over – his diet indeed. How humorous…worried over his eating habits when so many other things clouded his perfection… So very vain, but certainly true.
Kalib was nearly done with his second sandwich when Mariella finally spoke again, mentioning the poor little house elves that she took advantage over…not that he hadn’t ever done so. “Tsk, tsk; and here I thought you had a clean record. Am I going to have to do a background check on you? It would be good practice for my future career plans you know,” he hinted playfully. Of course he really had no means to ever do so, and trying to tempt his father into doing so would surely lead to him being fired. And of course if his father was fired on Kalib’s account just because he felt the need to research his girlfriend’s history, he would never hear the end of it. That was just one soap opera he was willing to miss.
As he shoved the last bit of his sandwich into his jaws, Mariella began digging through that ridiculously large bag of hers. Never would he understand women and their need for designer handbags. That was well out of comprehension range. All the same, he watched her again with no real interest for the bag, and studied her as she pulled out an odd look…fruit? He couldn’t be sure. Continuing on with her wand, he watched with true fascination now as it began to neatly peel and slice itself. Kalib stared at the fruit but was certain he had never seen let alone tried one before when he was offered one. “Try? It’s good…” He never refused an opportunity to try something new, and the offer only was more tempting in his favor as he studied the small seed delicately balance on her outstretched finger. Kalib wasn’t sure he was allowed yet, but found he didn’t care either way – leaning forward to close the small gap, he gently closed his mouth around her finger, sliding the seed right off as he pulled back. He was certainly preoccupied, but in the midst he was able to appreciate the taste of the small seed; he hadn’t expected juice to squirt out of it as he chewed. Swallowing in a rather satisfactory way, he grinned. “Delicious.” He eyed the sliced fruit, “Now what is it?” Curiosity was getting the better of him.

Mariella knew the whole comment of staring was rude, but she really could not be at fault for watching Kalib. She didn't often concentrate on others eating, although when she did, she seemed to take subtle little details in her mind about what they did. And well....Kalib really ate like any other guy, not trying to look proper, did. Her crammed his face with his food without a second thought and finished it off within minutes. Mariella couldn't combat the twisted thought that jumped into her mind. Did anyone know how easy it would be to poison him, or any other male for that matter? Put their favorite meal in front of them and they completely forgot any home training or table manners their mothers and fathers had bestowed upon them and 'dug in', sometimes literally. All it would take is simply adding a hint of this or that into the mix and he would be down for the count, permanently. But why in the world was she thinking this when she was with the man she loved?! Well, Mariella's mind did tend to wander, and watching him eat that way simply brought up a mild curiosity. She couldn't exactly control which way her mind decided to go, it just went and she simply followed.
'Tsk, tsk; and here I thought you had a clean record. Am I going to have to do a background check on you?' Mariella couldn't suppress a slight chuckle before pressing her hand lightly to her bosom. "Oh no...not a background check!" she exclaimed just as playfully back. "Then you'll find out all my dirty little secrets...!" Her voice became more of a whisper as she spoke, making it look like she was fearful of something. Of course she was joking. "I'll simply die if you find out about....that..."She turned her head away in a dramatic fashion, hiding her 'shame'. Of course she really wasn't referring to anything although there were things Mariella would be quite embarrassed to have resurfaced. People flipping her skirt, her tripping up the stairs, days where she didn't exactly look her best. Mariella rather leave those moments where they were; in the past.
A smile had plastered itself on Mariella's lips as she glanced up every now and then to see Kalib staring at her. Well, at the least, she knew that she was keeping him entertained with her little job of opening the fruit. This was always the most challenging job, getting it open. But those that were patient and careful enough to do so were awarded with an abundance with juice-filled seeds. The labor was worth the reward. She couldn't help but chuckle softly as she watched Kalib study the fruit, like some muggle that may have picked up a magical device. Observation was over and it came time to test the treat, Mariella unable to suppress a soft purr as his mouth closed about her finger. The fingertips were always so sensitive, feeling so good in the mouth of a lover. She grinned back at him as she saw the look on his face. "Pomegranate" she said with a nod of her head, plucking a seed off and into her mouth. She chewed the delicious morsel before repeating what she did earlier. She plucked another seed off and held it out for Kalib to take. Maybe this is why feeding a lover was so delightful, the simple sensations it caused were so overwhelming...
