.:A Morning Taste of Chocolate:.

Kole was not feeling all that well this morning…

For some unknown reason her stomach was being quite flip floppy as well as just a bit nauseous. What she really wanted to do was find the way to the closest privy and hurl up whatever it was in her system that was causing this blasted nausea as to feel much better, but being not all that fond of the Hospital wing and the fact that Moaning Myrtle resided in the only bathroom where she wouldn’t be heard puking, she would not. Instead Kole was going to have to tough it.

She sighed, feeling an especially strong sense of nausea start to rise up inside of her, but she quickly suppressed the urge to hurl and instead and continued on her way to Honeydukes. Oh Honeydukes! Never had Kole tasted any better chocolate than theirs! And that’s exactly where she was heading to; to buy a bit of chocolate in hopes that it would settle her acrobatic stomach. Perhaps afterwards she would g to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer and look for Bella.

A warm feeling, that for once this day wasn’t the feeling of her warm inside climbing up the inside of her throat, surged inside Kole as she caught sight of Honeydukes. She smiled softly and quickened her pace, she scent of chocolate and other types of sugary treats wafting up into her nose.

Bella strolled down the streets of Hogsmeade quite alone, having left the group as they’d taken refuge in Madam Puddifoots, seemingly trying to catch a boy’s eye. Bella had never really been one for that and decided to travel solo instead. Maybe she would stop in the joke shop, or maybe go have a good old Butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks.

Bella decided upon the joke shop after all and spent a few minutes busying herself there, looking at all the new items. She wondered vaguely if her friends had gotten the boy’s attention or not. As she left with no purchases, she tried to think of what else to do.

She hadn’t made it very far when she recognized the girl from the train, Annette was her name. Bella thought about saying hello, but seemed to feel that maybe she should give the girl space. She’d seemed a bit fed up with her on the Express, having tore her from whatever that book had been. Still, she almost felt rude if she just walked right on by…

But then she saw another familiar face and ran over to her. “Kole, hey!” Bella grinned enthusiastically. She hadn’t seen the Ravenclaw since her owl had tried to eat her rat. The thought brought a smile to her lips. Conversationally, she continued fervently, “I haven’t seen you in a while, what’s up?”

OOC: Yeah, Kole was just kind of walking up there before but in this post I’m making her enter Honeydukes.

“ I wonder what kind of lollies they’ll have today… Or maybe some kind of hot and frothy chocolate drink…. That could settle my tumbling tummy…” Kole muttered to herself as she neared the door. The heavenly scents of sugars and chocolate wafted to her nose, causing Kole’s mouth to water in a very unlady-like way.

She took a deep breath in an attempt to regain her composure, not that the fact all the air within a 20 foot radius smelled of sugar and chocolates as well, and pushed open the door. The inner-Kole wiggled about happily and couldn’t wait to get her hands on some of the colorful confections before her, but Kole was able to some how keep her outer appearance calm as she carefully eyed to colorful and fantasiful sweets before her.

Kole glanced over at Bella and smiled. She’d been busy with unpacking and classes, so she’d been able to contact her new made friend again. Kole just hoped Bella had left her at back at Hogwarts.

“ Hello Bella, hear to buy some candy?” she asked warmly, then mentally smacked herself. Of course Bella was buying candy, why else would she come to Honeydukes? Then again she could be meeting someone…

Bella laughed fluently, answering “Well, I donno yet. I’m not exactly hungry, but I mean, I’d never deny sweets.” She had a very large sweet tooth and often when surrounded by sweet could not stop herself from gorging. She glanced about all the odd advertisements, one of which read “Editable Parchment.” That certainly was different. She grinned, wondering how her teachers would react if she started snacking on her papers in the middle of class.

“What’re you about doing? I’ve just ditched my friends; they were swooning over some guy. I don’t think you’re here for the same reason, no?” Bella was in a good mood. Surrounded by candy and she had a good friend at her side. Things couldn’t get much better. It was then that she noted that Kole looked a bit pale.

“Wow, Kole, are you alright?” she asked in a more serious tone, “You don’t look so good. Are you sure you should be down here?” Her skin was flushed and her gaze hazy. “Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?” Bella added with a gentle smile. “We could go get something to drink if you wanted, maybe it would help. I’ll buy,” she offered.

Kole nodded, feeling her stomach start to knot and flip again.

“ I’d love to Bella, but I would feel bad if you paid for me... It’s just that I feel a little bit nauseous, it happens every once and a while if I don’t sleep enough.” Kole admitted, looking down at her feet in hopes that concentrating on them would level out her stomach “I’ve just kind of been busy lately with classes and there’s this really good book I’m into that I can’t go to sleep without reading a few chapters fro each night.”

Kole decided that I was kind of nice to be able to just kind of tell someone random stuff like how she was feeling and what she was doing. Usually when she was talking to someone it was because they hadn’t heard instructions in class, or even once in a while they wanted to introduce themselves!

It was nice having friends….

“Oh Kole don’t be so modest! Come on, we’re going to go get you something to drink. You like Butterbeer, don’t you? You have to. Everyone loves Butterbeer, come on. It’s no trouble really, it’s alright.” Bella smiled warmly and wrapped Kole in a friendly hug. “Come on, I’m not going to let you deny me the chance to pamper a cherish friend.”

Kole was such a shy person, she loved to help people like that. Maybe it was because Bella didn’t exactly what you would call a “family” and maybe she thought that just maybe, if she helped brighten someone’s day that perhaps the world wasn’t such a bad place after all. Either way, Bella felt better knowing she could help another.

“I know this is sort of a silly question, but I guess I’d better offer now before you decide to pass out on me.” She grinned weakly. “Do you need help walking or do you have it covered?” Bella offered her arm out, “Cause I’ll help you if you want. I don’t mind.” Bella felt a small glow inside. “It’s no trouble.”

Kole smiled gently at Bella, her stomach feeling better for a moment, but then it gave a flip that instantly reminded Kole she wasn’t feeling all that well.

“ A-actually… I was on my way to get some hot chocolate…” Kole informed her in a quiet tone, as she tried her best to keep the contents of her stomach from climbing up her throat “Maybe we could get that instead? I mean I like butterbeer and all but I’m sure it’s not the best thing for a sick stomach…”

Kole forced down her stomach again and smiled at Bella. Bella was such a nice person, especially to be worried about Kole like she was. Kole smiled to herself, feeling all warm and tingly from the feelings of friendship and concern practically radiating from Bella.

“ I’m fine, I can still walk an stuff… It’s just a bit wobbly and such… But I’m fine, really I am!” Kole promised, hoping to reassure Bella and help her not be so concerned. She gave a sparkling smile to Bella and took a few wobbly steps inside Honeydukes. “ See? Perfectly fine!”

“Hot chocolate?” she echoed, “Well, that’s very well too. Perhaps I can snag a cookie as well…” Bella had a bad habit of eating more sweet then she really needed. But if she was going to have hot chocolate she was going to have a warm cookie to dunk into it. “I guess we can still go to the Three Broomsticks for that though, right?” It seemed silly, having never really ordered anything else there before. Odd traditions students made up.

“Hmm, hot chocolate it is.” As Kole staggered a bit, she shook her head. “Come on,” she laughed, looping her arm through Kole’s. “I’m not gunna make you walk all that way on a sick stomach by yourself. Besides, no offense, but I don’t think you’d make it as far as the door.”

Bella steered her easily enough, out into the cold. They passed that girl again, whom she could still not remember fully, but she figured it was best to just keep going. However, once out of eye sight from the girl she continued “So what’ve you been doing up here all day? I mean, why’d you even bother coming if you’re so sick? Or did it just happen?”

” I-I’m not to sure actually…” Kole admitted in a murmur “I felt a little queasy last night, but nothing to dramatic, and this morning I woke up and felt like I was on a boat that just kept rocking from side to side…”

As she spoke of her queasy-ness it perked up again, making her wonder if her stomach was practicing to be an acrobat with all the flips it was doing. She tried to cover, even though Kole could practically feel her skin tinting green, and smiled at Bella.

“ A-anyways… Let’s go get that chocolate and those cookies…” she got out, trying to ignore the feeling of queasy-ness that was once more hitting her with full force “Maybe some lollies or chocolate bars as well?” she offered with a light smile.

Kole had her reasons for wanting to by some chocolates… You see, dear little bookworm-ish Kole had a bit of a crush on a certain Miter Remus Lupin and she had started to notice a pattern in his sick days, she did often go help Madam Samara Hollows in the infirmary after all. She had noticed that it revolved around the rotation of the full moon… Of course at first she suspected Remus of being a werewolf, but he seemed like such a nice guy and had such an even temper that it couldn’t be!

But when Remus took his sick days wasn’t the point of the matter. The point was that she was going to get up the nerve and get Remus some chocolates next time she same him in the infirmary!!

“Alright, come on. Let’s go get those candies.” Bella grinned, pulling Kole along down the streets. It didn’t take too long to make it down to the decided location, and instantly she was greeted with warmth. Bella hadn’t realized how cold it had been outside until surrounded by the comfy atmosphere of the shop. “Burr!” she shivered comically, shaking out the cold and welcoming in the heat.

Her attention was caught by a colorful shelf decorated in all sort of sweets, Dancing Dragons catching her eyes the quickest. Curious, she made sure her friend was steady and let her stand on her own, walking over to pick up a package and examine the back labeling. Supposedly the things were suppose to perform some little show before you snatched them midair and ate them. She laughed, “Man, get a load of these…I’m sure Remus would love them.” She glanced over her should knowingly, finding the feeling of knowledge comforting. Being well connected was a good thing sometimes.

“Of course, you could always get…” She got closer, reading the label upon another candy, “Laughable Lollipops…not sure what they’re supposed to do though…” She picked up a package and turned them over in her hands, “Maybe it’s like laughing gas?” she suggested wryly, wondering if they’d work. It would be great fun to trick someone into eating one.

Kole giggled, blushing slightly when Bella mentioned her crush. It was so embarrassing really!! And it wasn’t like she had much of a chance…. After all Kole was… Kole. And he was Remus Lupin, everyone knew about him and his friends! Kole sighed, but then made a note that she was trying to build up her confidence so made sure to give herself a good mental chewing out as she scanned the shelf.

“ Laughing gas…? Let’s get some! I think I know a few Snake-ys I’d like to try them out on…” Kole said, actually putting forward a bit of her rarely seen mischievous side. And it didn’t really take much to figure out that by Snake-ys she meant Slytherins…

As her mind switched from a harsh chewing out of self to vengeful plotting she glanced over the many kinds of suckers and lollipops that Honeydukes had. A smile played on her lips as her eyes caught on some lemon lollies, a favorite of hers when it came to any kind of treat really! Kole snatched of a few of them, by few I mean enough to last her until death probably, and then moved onto the many different kinds of chocolate that Honeydukes sold.

“ Not those… Almost but not- Ah there they are!” Kole muttered as she glanced shelves until finally her eyes caught on some bars that had a potions that soothed the nerves and heightened the spirits. What could honestly be better to give to someone in the infirmary? That’s right darlings, nothing!!

With a slightly out of character happy wiggle she grabbed a few bars and went to Bella to show her friend what she’d gotten.

“Ooo, Kole, I love your thinking,” Bella laughed, grabbing a few of the odd lollipops. “We’ll have to go track the snakes down later…what fun.” After a little debate, she snatched a few of the crazy dragon candies. She’d try them out later, although on whom that was still undecided. Maybe she could use Drew, or Cambri, she’d probably try one. She vaguely thought about Regulus, but somehow she didn’t think that would go over very well.

“Hey, what do you th…Kole?” Bella glanced around, but she seemed to have wandered off. She scowled – where did she run off to? She started roaming about but Kole eventually found her again. “Whoa, quite the load. But hey, we’re on a sugar spree, right?” Bella looked at the shelf they were buy, seeing the ever popular editable quills. She grabbed a few of those two.

“So, which stack is yours and which are you giving to your little crush?” she smiled, finding it adorable Kole was fond over Remus. She of course had a few boys like that of her own, but she hadn’t ever thought of giving them chocolates. They were just her friends that were boys, the classic escape of the boyfriend term.

Kole smiled when she located Bella, who seemed to be grabbing up her own load of sweets. She spotted some strange dragon treats as well as several of those suckers that made you laugh. Her mind of course was absolutely whirling with ideas of things she could do with those suckers!

“ What can I say, I have quite the sweet tooth!” she admitted to her friend with a smile, grabbing a box of sugar quills to send home to her mom “Plus I want to send some home to my parents and siblings for them to try. I mean they’re not wizards or anything but everyone likes sweets right?” she explained, only rambling slightly. When Bella mentioned Kole’s crush on Remus she felt her cheeks heat up with a vibrant blush.

“ I-I have no idea what you mean Bella dear…” She stuttered out in a nervous and blushing reply. Of course Bella knew about Kole’s crush, but that didn’t mean she had to admit right out! Honestly, it was only right that she didn’t have to blab to the entire world about it.

“Zane you’re such a freak, I don’t know why I hang out with you.” Kalib shook his head, but laughing along side his friend and clapping him on the back. “What did she do to you? I don’t think she would have responded very well.” Zane just shook his head, his curly black hair bouncing. “Nah, she slapped me and accused me of being a pyro. I told her she should come and meet you.” Kalib scowled, “No need to let the world know about that. Besides, it’s not really a ‘pyro’…I prefer the term ‘delicately balanced with flames’…” Zane just stared at him, “Yeah, whatever. Come on, I’m dying for some chocolate…”

Zane led him along and pushed open the door, shifting to the side. “Ladies first,” he mocked with a bow. Kalib grabbed him and shoved him in first, “I know, that’s why you’re going first. Come on dirtbag, get in there.” A rally of horseplay broke out and didn’t take long for the manager to come snapping at them. “Delinquents! All of them, quit it or I’ll kick you out you rowdy blokes!” They still laughed obnoxiously, but quit shoving each other.

Zane was already all over on the shelves, his arms stuffed with candy. “That’s totally going to ruin your figure,” Kalib laughed, jabbing him in the side. “That’s what magic is for dork,” Zane whispered, winking. Kalib ignored him and quickly found more interest in the two girls across the shop. He nudged Zane, asking, “Hey, that’s the chick with the rat, isn’t it? Who’s the other girl? She’s pretty fine.”

Zane looked up form his stock and looked at them. “Oh yeah, that’s Kole. I’ve heard about her. But don’t be cruel, she’s hot and you know it. Too bad she’s a Raven. I don’t like them much.” Kalib raised an eyebrow, “Well, why don’t we just go and introduce ourselves to these fine beauties…”

“Oh Kalib, man, don’t…” But he was already striding over to them, Zane at his heels. “Well hello ladies,” Kalib said, sticking a hand out, “Kalib Hemlock, I’m sure you’ve heard of me. This is Zane Ritchie.” Zane nodded, eyeing the two with obvious interest.


OOC: Alright, now, I’ll post as Bella and then feel free!

“Yeah, whatever. I’m sorry to inform you I’m pretty sure everyone but Remus knows. I have a wide network, I know things.” She nodded importantly, “And I totally support it. I might be able to help you out you know, all you have to do is ask.” She winked, then added “But of course I won’t stick my nose in anymore then it already is if you so wish. Just let me know when he asks you out!” she teased with a giggled.

Bella focused herself back on her pile, trying to mentally figure out how much all of it was going to cost her. She almost had it when she heard yelling at the front of the store. She looked up, and of course, a few Slytherin were causing a ruckus. “Ugh, Slytherin boys. A bad combination.” But then her eyes lit up, “Hey, Kole…Kole!” She poked her friend after the frantic whisper, “I bet we could get them to eat one of these…” She quickly dropped it though, they were coming over.

“Well hello ladies. Kalib Hemlock, I’m sure you’ve heard of me. This is Zane Ritchie.” He’d stuck out his hand and for a moment Bella looked at it with disgust. Then, she recalled their undecided plan, and grabbed it willing enough to shake. “Yeah, I’ve heard of you,” Bella said lightly, “Bella Swan, this is Kole Wulfe.” She slyly nodded in the boys’ direction for her to say something. Good thing about Slytherins is that they weren’t very observant.
