Hey, Kerry here.
So my dog Shasta is my best friend in the world, love her to death. I'm really ticked off right now, so that's the best description I have right now.
Meanwhile, my grandma and her friend's nephew live in Mexico where she runs a bed and breakfast. (He works there) Recently, he just got a puppy and he asked me to help him with names.
So I spent a long time helping him find a name (the dog is really cute) and I thought we decided on Cloud. However, today, he messages me on MSN and tells me he's going to name his dog Shasta. NO! NO! NO! NO! I told him straight out that this was not okay with me and he needs to find a new name. He said that it was my grandma's idea so that we would remember me, but he found this whole situation funny. I however did not. I'm extremely upset that he would do something like this and I called my mom (Grandma is her mom) and told her about it, and she asked me if it was really the biggest deal in the world if they named their dog Shasta. Well... IT IS! D:
So I thought I'd ask,
Is it really too hard to ask them to choose a different name? Whenever we go down there we leave my dog Shasta for a few weeks, and I really really miss her. Having a dog there named Shasta would just be so hard.
It really makes me mad that they think this is funny. But anyway, please vote!
