Name: Kaelyn Eida Coote.
Age: Fifteen.
Gender: Female.
Year: Fifth.
Celebrity: Ellen Page.
Canon? No, Kaelyn's an original character.
Physical Description: Chestnut strands of hair reaches down to a few inches below her shoulders, usually in a different hairstyle everyday. She doesn't repeat the same look two days in a row, except whenever she happens to be lazy and just leaves it down. Almond shaped hazel eyes always tends to sparkle in the best of her moments, but can fill with tears instantly whenever upset. She's not much of a tan person, but she's not pale, either. She's pretty average around her height, around five foot, five inches. Her weight is average for her size, but she appears to be slightly thinner than usual because of her constantly being active. When it comes to style, she barely wears much makeup. You can tell she wears mascara, a bit of eyeliner, blush, and lipgloss... but she prefers not having anything glittery or wearing eyeshadow. There's already enough blood running through her eyelids that gives it a pink complexion. Usually whenever the classes are in session, she's found in her usual Hufflepuff uniform, but she prefers not to wear that whenever there aren't any classes to attend. Instead, she'd rather wear comfortable jeans or corduroy pants and a nice sweater or shirt.
Personality: [HAPPIEST MEMORY] Her happiest memory would have to be when she first arrived to Hogwarts. Just the whole magical atmosphere seemed to fill her body with a great sensation of falling in love of the place. She has heard so much about the place, seeing as one of her parents happened to be a witch/wizard themself. Hearing stories about the place and ever so wanting to go there... she finally had her wish when the letter arrived shortly before term would begin.
[HER FEAR] It didn't take long until Kaelyn realized her biggest fear in life... losing love. She was only around the age of six, but it was pretty obvious that her and Trevor Brennan were the bestest of friends in the entire world. Everywhere you went, you could see the two acting as random as possible and sharing just about everything of theirs. Kaelyn was always the one that chased after boys and Trevor was the one who chased after girls. Neither have ever considered chasing after each other, except for a game of magical tag, since they considered each other as siblings. Sooner or later, Hogwarts was their entire fascination when they were young, after hearing many stories from each of their parents about their lives at the magical school. Both knew that nothing could ever stop them from getting their letter by the time their 11th birthday would come.
But, death had proven them wrong. Trevor was found missing for a few weeks in their village, and Kaelyn was suffering the loss of her friend. Hoping ever so much that Trev would return safely, unharmed, Kaelyn wanted to search so hard for her missing friend. It wasn't until a few weeks later when the body of Trevor was found near the edge of a forest, becoming a corpse. Kaelyn had betrayed her parents wishes of staying in the home and wondered amongst the forest to stumble across the deadly scene. Not a trace of blood had been around the body, and it seemed as if nothing else could've harmed him... no suffocation marks or anything. It was the most confusing thing ever to Kaelyn, until she cried to her parents about what had just happened. They suggested it was done by Avada Kedavra, which was known as the Killing Curse in the Wizarding world.
[GREATEST DESIRE] Nothing could repair what the past has taken away from her, but Kaelyn knows one thing for sure... she wants to grow up learning as much as she can in the medical field for wizards. When she sees herself in the Mirror of Erised, Kaelyn glances at the nurse's robes that cling to her petite figure. All sorts of medical textbooks, antidotes, and potions surround her around the room. Not many people would consider this career as the best sort of move, while everyone else would rather become an Auror or a professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry... but Kaelyn would rather be a healer or nurse to the school, or probably work for St. Mungo's. The different sorts of strange injuries fascinate her, as they are very different in the Nuggle world. Not many Muggles would have their tongues multiply or their hair becoming as snakes. The profession of medical field is what Kaelyn desires to be.
[INSIDE HER MIND] ♥ Optimistic ;; She's always looking to the bright side of things. Whenever she happens to get in the worst of moods, there's never a dull moment for her. Somewhere inside her mind, the most positive of a situation is being thought up, which gives her the patience to outcome a situation.
♥ Patient ;; As it seems that there may not be enough time in this world, Kaelyn seems to show that there's never a moment to spare. She could seem to be waiting forever without a fuss. She'd rather live life as it's being given to her and not interupt it.
♥ Determined ;; Always willing to put her best effort into everything, Kaelyn's quite the hard worker. Even though she may not have the best of luck in a couple classes, it doesn't mean that she put no effort towards it. Homework isn't her favorite thing to do, but she still completes it.
♥ Social Butterfly ;; Not afraid to make new friends. She's always there to socialize with the rest of her fellow classmates, and isn't afraid to approach a new person. Not to mention, she's not exactly loved by everyone, but she has the time for any of her friends.
♥ Honest ;; Sure, it's not possible to never tell a lie, but Kaelyn prefers to be as honest as she can. Whenever there's ever a situation where she gets herself in trouble, there's no point in creating an excuse to get out of it. She's not the best at coming up with excuses to begin with.
♥ Emotional ;; If there's one thing that sticks out with her most, she's quite emotional. It's not one of those 'crying everyday' kind of thing, but she's willing to care so much about her friends and if they're upset, she gets quite upset as well.
♥ Clumsy ;; Yes, she's not quite the perfect person and definitely not a good candidate for anything that requires balance... but it's not as if she's the most clumsiest witch at Hogwarts. Maybe her ears needs readjusting, or maybe she's just plain clumsy now and then.
Likes: • Dancing. • Hanging out. • Spells and charms. • Socializing. • Flying. • Swimming. • Summer weather. • Boys, boys, boys...
Dislikes: • Detention. • Being alone. • Not being loved. • Not getting what she wants. • Stormy weather. • Reading lengthy textbooks. • Homework assignments. • A boring day.
History: Born as a Muggle, Kaelyn was quite the fussy child. Her determination to always get what she wants was such a huge part of her manner. When she was two and able to speak in most decent sentences, Kaelyn was quite demanding. Most would think she would grow up to be a bossy sort of person, acting like a Mother Hen to most of the people around her, but she grew out of the that stage when she first when to primary (elementary) school. There, she learned the manner of sharing and giving. Growing up with courtesy, Kaelyn was always there for anyone whenever they needed help. When someone got into an argument, she was there to back her friend. Whenever they lost their lunch, she would share the meal with them.
Although, it wasn't long until it was her eleventh birthday, and a letter was received through owl in her mail slot. Her parents were quite shocked at such a belief in witches and wizards, but Kaelyn was thrilled that there was something new in her life. She was a witch. It was weird to consider herself under that status, since witches were known as ugly, mean, and green. She didn't believe herself to be any of those qualities at all, which got her quite quisitive as to why this was happening to her. Nonetheless, it didn't stop her from waiting until the summer was over with when she would be starting her education there. And when September 1st came by... the start of her new adventure would begin.
From spells to potions to magical creatures, everything fascinated her. Spending just four years at the school, Kaelyn was picking up on everything. At first, it was quite overwhelming, but she was getting the hang of it. Her grades were alright, but not to the best of standards. She was passing everything except Care of Magical Creatures and Arithmancy. Her favorite subjects were definitely Charms, Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. She hadn't much of an eye for Divination, but the class was pretty interesting enough. Not quite the highest grade she could get in that class, but it was definitely acceptable to her standards.
Her friendships were starting to form, while her relationships remained in lack of. Most of her time being spent at Hogwarts was from socializing with just about anyone around, and to flirt with the Hogwarts boys around her age. She hadn't been able to maintain a boyfriend at all, but who's to say that it'll remain constant that way? Still, her focus on studies weren't quite up to standards, however she managed to have time to complete her assignments now and then... while she was mostly found outdoors or hanging around in popular areas of the school. There still was yet more for her to learn at Hogwarts, and so little time.

Sample Post: The entire atmosphere at King's Cross station was full of diversity. There were quite a lot of Muggles that were heading out to do their business while a load of Witches and Wizards were making their way to the barrier that divides the Muggle world from the Wizarding world. This was known as Platform 9 and 3/4 to all magic folk. It was as if this dream of becoming a member at Hogwarts was so surreal. Kaelyn's eyes couldn't believe how in one quick second, most would believe that they're not being insane by running through the Platform. Instead, they'd vanish as if they had gone through the wall like a ghost. Such curiousity filled her bones as she wondered how it would be like to go through a wall like that. It seemed pretty scary, but it was something she must get adjusted to if she ever wanted to go to Hogwarts.
Pulling her chestnut hair back out of the way beneath a headband, she gripped tighter on her cart before steadily viewing the magic wall. Her parents had already wished her good luck and waved goodbye. It was time they watched their daughter speed off into the Wizarding world as a new witch, about to start her adventure in an unfamiliar atmosphere. Both of her parents were Muggles and quite pleased to know how much of a privilage it was for her to complete her education there. They were so anxious to know how much she'll learn and how their world differed from Muggle life. Kaelyn was most anxious of them all. Most obviously, she was the one who was going to experience this and share stories to her parents.
"Don't hold your breath, Kaelyn... just go for it!" She whispered to herself, closing her eyes for a quick to let the moment sink in. Once she felt determined to get through this, her hazel eyes were revealed once more as she fixed them on the wall. Starting out at just a sprint, Kaelyn lost focused of the people around her. Her parents were already left behind and she was moving forward to a new start. This was going to be interesting. As soon as she feared she'd collide with the wall in a horrible impact, she felt nothing. In fact, it felt as if there was a short breeze of cool air before she realized that the Hogwarts Express was right there in front of her.
Amazed at the process of transferring from the Muggle world to the Wizarding world, Kaelyn was eager to find herself a seat on the steamy-engine train. Such a beautiful color of scarlet, Kaelyn thought as she peered out the window. Her cart of luggage had been placed in the new location of above her seat. Even though the compartment was empty to begin with, Kaelyn would rather arrive at Hogwarts as soon as possible... wondering all sorts of things about what to expect at the magical school. This was far much different than riding on a school bus, she knew for sure. Still, Kaelyn felt this was going to be a huge highlight in her life... as a witch.
