Now, I’ve got to tell you a little story about Najooj and Lily here. When we were collecting the votes and tallying the results, and it became clear that Lily was a potential winner for the female graduate award, little Najooj started freaking out. She couldn’t believe that people would bother to vote for Lily, let alone anything she could do with a character, whether it be Lily or someone else. I tried to tell her that if people were voting for her it couldn’t possibly be a mistake. To this day I still thinks she believes we rigged the results. But no! You, the people – haha – voted for Ms. Lily Evans / Mrs. Lily Potter and you know what? I freakin’ agree with you 100%. There’s no need to tell you what this chick has been up to. It’s Lily. Who doesn’t love Lily? Najooj has really made the character her own. And you know, that in and of itself it something else entirely. For the longest time Lily had become a taboo, as if no one could ever keep her as a character for longer than a month or two. You know what? Najooj has been RPing Lily since November 2008 – you can quote me on that, I did my homework. That means it’s almost been two years. You can’t tell me Najooj doesn’t know her character after having her that long. It shows. Lily is amazing. And Najooj darling, whether you think so or not, you deserve this award. ♥ Congratulations!!!

I remember back when it seemed like an active Lily Evans was just a dream, something that was fated not to be on ISS. That was before Jooj came along, made Lily, made her awesome, did awesome plots with her, and... yeah, the rest, as they say, was history. Everyone loves Lily and James but I think it's safe to say that Jooj and Kiara pulled them in a way different from anything we'd seen before, and they captured out attention every step of the way, through every note and thread and every perfectly delivered line. And Jooj has certainly gone farther than that, too, plotting Lily with so many other characters and always bringing a little grin to our face. I still don't understand how she manages to keep Lils so perfectly canon and yet so perfectly unique. It's crazy but of course she pulls it off, 'cause she's Jooj ♥ But yes, I seriously urge you all to go and read any threads containing Lily Evans because they will be oh so worth it. Believe me. My first thread with this girlie here was the most ridiculously enjoyable experience, not gonna lie. And ever since I started, I haven't been able to stop plotting with her. She's Lily! Lily Evans-soon-to-be-Potter and she's such a main canon and yet I don't think I could ever see her anywhere else again after knowing this Lily that Jooj has brought us. It's one thing to play a canon and it's another entirely to become a canon and Najooj's Lily has become Lily in my mind - and in so many others, I'm sure - irrevocably. So without a doubt, of course she deserves the title of our Favorite Graduate Girl. So, so much.
