[I have done extensive amounts of research on Spencer’s specific disorder, and am ready to field any and all questions you may have upon the completion of reading this application. Thanks!
The picture in the links are how the personalities see themselves. They all still look like Spencer, but they believe they lookl ike the links. I can also explain this better if need be. xDD
And... I condensed some. If things need beefed up, just lemme know again. Haha. Sorry.]

{ A B O U T . T H E . C H A R A C T E R } Dear Professor Dumbledore,
As requested, I am enclosing Spencer Matthew’s medical file, along with this letter of my own personal consent that he is well enough to be re-admitted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
For the past year, as per your request, I have closely monitored Spencer’s progress within the institution, working extensively with his personal therapists and teachers to insure that his progress was real and continuous. While at first the road was rocky and difficult, Spencer has learned to manage his disorder to the point that his separate personalities are at an all-time minimum. Said personalities are also non-violent and somewhat benevolent, most would never so much as harm someone else, let alone lash out in a way that could be fatal. I believe that with continual therapy sessions through floo-calls or the occasional personal visit that Spencer can continue to maintain this same level of progress, and ultimately fight his own disorder.
Reentering him into the social life of Hogwarts should help him better understand how to interact and react well to others around him. Being around others should keep the multiple personalities in check, which could help him learn how to cope with life without them. I would not suggest a constant chaperone, but perhaps you could monitor his progress by keeping an eye on him. Nothing obvious—Spencer does not react well once he realizes he’s being watched. Instead, a general knowledge of where he is and how he’s doing should be enough. I will keep in contact with you about his progress as often as I can, and I expect nothing less from you.
If Spencer does not seem to be handling it well, I will have no qualms in readmitting him to the institution at your request.
If you have any more questions, feel free to owl me back.
Sincerely, Healer Edmund Neilson, Ph.D. St. Mungo’s Hospital for Medical Maladies Mental Illness Ward, Floor Five
Name: Spencer Andrew Matthews Age: Seventeen Gender: Male Year: Sixth Face Claim: Matthew Grey Gubler
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties:
When Spencer is within his own frame of mind, his facial attributes remain quite natural. He has a square shaped face, with a wide forehead and an equally wide jaw. These features are predominant due to his habit of starving himself when distressed. His eyes—a typical brown color –therefore appear somewhat sunken in, and it isn’t a strange sight to see dark circles underneath them. He has a long nose and thin lips, and, while in the base personality, he has a habit of rubbing his nose or wiping at his mouth as if they’re constantly running. Spencer often hides his face with his hair, kept long specifically for this reason. Spencer is quite clean, and will wash his face almost obsessively. His skin is clear and free of any sort of acne. He also chooses to shave often and frequently; the medication we give him often stimulates the growth of hair, and he is rather persistent in keeping it kempt.
Victoria, Spencer’s only female personality, can be quite noticeable when it comes to his facial properties. Unable to access make-up, Victoria prefers to focus on curling or styling her hair in such a way to make the feminine qualities more noticeable. Occasionally—when she acquires make-up from her other friends –she will apply concealer to the under-eye circles, and, when feeling particularly festive, will apply eyeliner. When Spencer was first permitted his wand back, Victoria used this opportunity to do some glamour charms she had researched in the library. Specifically, she found ways to change her eye color or to whiten her teeth. These subtle changes help distinguish her from the others almost immediately. Victoria has an affection for blue eyes, and that is usually the color she glamours her own to.
When Spencer is within Jeffrey’s frame of mind, the main, blatant change is that he adorns a pair of oversized glasses. Since Jeffrey has particularly bad eyesight, he must use these glasses so that he can see clearly. In addition, Spencer usually adorns a hearing aid as well, though the magnitude of magic at Hogwarts would cause this to go haywire, thusly making it near impossible for him to hear as well. When Jeffrey is prevalent in his mind, Spencer usually lets his mouth hang open slightly, his breathing pattern changes. He also extends his neck so that his face is pointing out, as if this will help him see better. He will lick his lips often, and will speak with a different tone of voice, one much lower and a little raspier. His hair will be slicked back into a pony-tail, or he will wear a hat. As Jeffrey says repeatedly, “I’m so excited to still have hair at this age, I couldn’t bear to cut it.”
When Spencer is within the mindset of “Killer”, the changes are much more subtle. He refuses to shower, so his hair will be greasier. Often times, he’ll have grease or dirt smudges along his face, often unexplainable by “Killer”, other than that they’re supposed to be there. He’ll wear a bandana to keep his hair back and to distinguish himself from “the others”. He’ll be better-rested, with less stress on his face. “Killer” chews tobacco; it’s often that you will see the dip in his mouth. Efforts to get him to quit have failed, though he has changed from chew to regular cigarettes. His teeth appear more yellowed as an after-effect. “Killer” doesn’t brush his teeth, either. His breath will stink.
When Spencer is within the mindset of Christopher, the changes are vastly greater. In an effort to charm others, Spencer will appear much cleaner than any of his other personalities. His hair will be neatly combed and cleaned, though hardly ever styled. He will be resting a lot more, so that there will be little stress on his face. He eats better, so there is the chance of his face filling out if within Christopher’s state of mind for an elongated period of time. His eyes are brighter, and he holds himself at a higher standard. It will be one of few times that you will not see Spencer slouching. He holds his head up high. Christopher is also the only of his personalities to constantly smile. It is the largest giveaway as to where his head is at.
Physique:
SPENCER: Height: 6’ 3” Weight: 125 lbs
Spencer is extremely underweight to the point that it is extremely detrimental to his health. When in his “base” personality, Spencer can be easily persuaded into eating a normal, balanced diet, therefore aiding him in gaining some of the weight back. Spencer dresses casually and with a conscious effort to blend into his surroundings. The colors he clothes himself in are neutral and faded-- nothing too flashy or fashionable. He slouches, usually staring straight down at the ground when he walks. It’s his way of keeping out of everyone’s way and not being noticed. Spencer avoids being touched at all costs—he will slide along walls if it means that someone won’t accidentally bump into him.
VICTORIA: Victoria is the entire reason Spencer is underweight. She is under the firm idea that she should be a super-model, she has contracted an eating disorder. Stephanie is bulimic; she will binge and purge, occasionally stomaching a whole meal when forced. Since Spencer is rarely in Victoria’s mind-set, her eating disorder should not be a true, prominent problem. When he is, it will be easy to distinguish such from his appearance. Though he has not gotten to the point of cross-dressing—mostly because we have kept him away from any sort of feminine clothes, or “Killer” throws them out when she does manage to acquire some –Spencer will dress much more provocatively. Tighter pants, tighter shirts—he’ll unbutton the top few buttons and roll up the sleeves. He’ll carry a bag. His shoes will have some sort of a lift on them, if not a full-out heel. Spencer will carry himself higher, shoulders squared, chest out. His face will be pointed upward; he will quite literally have his nose in the air, looking down on everyone.
JEFFREY: Jeffrey, in Spencer’s mind, is an eighty year old man. Because of this, he often has sore joints and bones, needing to hold onto something to walk any sort of distance. He used to require a cane, but knowing that that would not help him out upon his return to Hogwarts, our physical therapists have worked exceedingly hard in getting Spencer to stop using the cane. He will still use the wall for support, hunching his back over and walking quite slowly. Jeffrey also has a weak stomach and can’t chew foods as well as the other personalities; his diet will consist of liquids or soft solid foods, which does not help with the weight issue. Jeffrey usually dresses in casual clothing, with special orthopedic shoes. If “Killer” has thrown out said shoes, Jeffrey will wear flat sandals or sneakers, but will not be able to walk as far or for as long.
“KILLER”: “Killer” is the stereotypical meat-head, which means he believes in a diet full of protein without carbs and ridiculous amounts of exercise. “Killer” is the one personality that habitually and perpetually aids Spencer in gaining weight. When Spencer is in “Killer’s” mind-set, he often carries himself as if he is twice his actual size. He will be more active, more aggressive, and much more alert than any of Spencer’s other personalities. “Killer” dresses in a similar fashion, with tighter clothes and shirts, showing off the muscles that he believes he has. “Killer” has always had the urge to get a tattoo, but has never officially gotten one. He instead will draw on his arm with his wand, creating a fake one that will last for hours. It’s usually of his chosen name.
CHRISTOPHER: Christopher is even more confident than Killer, and it shows in his posture. He will hold himself up higher, though the constant smile on his face makes it go from intimidating and cocky to just purely confident. Christopher eats a balanced diet and exercises regularly without needing to be “jacked” like “Killer”. Instead, he prefers to simply maintain his appearance for the sole purpose of impressing the ladies. James is usually the most fashionable of all the personalities, even Victoria, dressing in clothes that fit his body properly without really showing the waif figure that he has. He can’t afford the nice clothes that he wants, so he steals them instead, despite our best efforts to keep him from doing such. Wand Type: Of all of his personalities, only two are actually magical. Multiple Personality Disorder often causes subtle changes in the patient’s body; one personality could have an entirely different resting heart beat than another, or one personality could have an entirely different average body temperature. It affects more than just his personalities, and, though we still aren’t sure as to why, Christopher and Spencer are the only personalities than can actually perform magic. The other act as squibs, able to see magic and understand that it’s there, but are unable to actually perform spells. This being said, Spencer and Christopher also require separate wands. The subtle changes in their body consequentially cause great changes within their magical capabilities.
Spencer: 14”, Holly, Unicorn Tail Hair. “Best for the pure of heart,” Ollivander had commented. Spencer keeps his wand in a trick bottom drawer on his bedside table, paranoid that his parents will find it, though subconsciously hiding it from his jealous counter-personalities.
Christopher: 12”, Mahogany, Demiguise Hair. “A more powerful choice, indeed.” Ollivander had been curious about the need for one boy to have two separate wands, particularly since both wands picked the exact same boy in a fashion he had only ever seen with one-wand-one-person partnerships.
Wand Expertise: Spencer’s wand is best for Charms work, something he excels at more so than any of his other classes. He spends much of his free time looking up charms that could possibly be useful to controlling his own disorder. Christopher, on the other hand, has a wand perfectly fitted for Transfiguration, a type of sorcery that aids in his tricky, mischievous ways. Nothing is ever as it appears with Christopher, which only makes the particular wand strength more fitting.
Patronus: Spencer was unable to truly think of a memory happy enough to create a full-bodied patronus, though under the massive scrutiny of those watching, we were able to see a resemblance of the spell to that of a jaguar. Jaguars are known for their abilities to make sense in chaos, something Spencer is able to do through his multiple personalities. Jaguars are symbols of releasing fear; by shifting through his “others”, Spencer is able to release his own fear.
Christopher was rather quick about his own patronus, a raccoon. Raccoons are known for their disguises, as are sociopaths. Christopher is also creative and curious, other things raccoons symbolize. Again, the patronuses are different because of the chemical changes that take place in the body and in Spencer’s mind when he disassociates himself from the current situation, therefore becoming these other people.
Boggart: As with the patronuses, each personality has their own specific boggart. While we were hesitant to hold these kinds of tests within or facility, we do understand the positive affects they can have on better understanding Spencer as a whole, and each of his personalities separately.
SPENCER: Spencer’s boggart is sort of a fleeting boggart. We’ve only managed to catch glimpses of the boggart before both Spencer and the boggart alter. From what we’ve managed to see of it, the boggart takes the shape of a man. From therapy sessions, we’ve been able to deduce that the man is more than likely Spencer’s father. Given what little of Spencer’s history that we are aware of, it seems fitting that his greatest fear would be his father.
VICTORIA: When Victoria is present in Spencer’s mind, her boggart is a reflection of herself, though completely distorted. Not only did it give us a better picture of how she sees herself, but it also gave us a better picture about how she feels about herself. Her face is a complete caricature, her body is oddly manipulated, and even her voice is shrill and unbearable. Victoria’s greatest fear is being truly ugly, inside and out.
JEFFREY: Jeffrey’s boggart is also simple; it’s the grim reaper. Jeffrey, in his old age, fears death above any and all else. Other versions of his boggart remain the same; sometimes it’s his own tombstone, sometimes it’s himself in a coffin, but more often than not, it’s just the grim reaper.
“KILLER”: For “Killer”, his boggart is something a little bit more complicated. It’s Spencer’s mother, as we remember her from pictures, but she’s all bruised and bloodied. “Killer” is the only alter that’s greatest fear relates specifically back to Spencer. She will repeat over and over again, “Why didn’t you save me? You could have saved me.” She doesn’t call “Killer” by that given nickname—she calls him Spencer, too. It’s the only reason why we put “Killer’s” name in quotation marks, because we’re not really sure who his true identity is.
CHRISTOPHER: Christopher’s boggart is just a crowd of people, all paying attention to someone other than him. They’re usually surrounding something, and he can’t see it, nor can he get through them to see what it is. Instead, they just keep blocking him out, pushing him out of the limelight which he loves so much.
Personality: The specific traits and qualities of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) vary from patient to patient on a broad scale, from subtle changes to full-fledged “alters”. When Spencer was first admitted into our hospital, he had over twenty-five specific alters. Over the past year, we have been attempting to control his disorder. With specific potions and intense therapy, his alters have been limited to four, nonviolent, completely different personalities. While we don’t have all of his possible triggers documented, we have been able to account for most of them.
SPENCER: Spencer is the quiet type, more often to be found by himself than in a large group of people. There is always a significant amount of space between him and anyone else. His large eyes are often scanning the area, as if looking for people to attack him or sneak up on him. He doesn’t really speak unless spoken to previously, and only if he is familiar with the person to speak to him. He will study a person for a very long time before he deduces whether or not it is “safe” to talk to them. Spencer does realize what happens to him, and, after some explanation on our part, is now familiar with his own personalities and what they do while he is “sleeping” or “away”. He is familiar with certain triggers and will go out of his way to avoid them. He is cautious, though still somewhat curious. He is intelligent, doing well in most of his tutoring programs. He has a sharp wit, though, again, he does not usually share this with others. Due to his fascination with romantic novels, Spencer is known to be a bit of a romantic himself; on countless occasions, he has given girls flowers or left notes underneath their doors. He doesn’t do well with change, and he doesn’t do well when he realizes someone is specifically watching him. He gets nervous and anxious, and is more than likely going to “alter”.
VICTORIA: Triggers: When surrounded by a group of girls, Spencer has been known to alter straight to Victoria. Occasionally, she will come out when Spencer eats “too much”, and starts to feel ill. Victoria can also be triggered when one girl comes up to him. Victoria seems to be Spencer’s alter to deal with women. Victoria can usually not be triggered when Spencer is within the mind of another alter.
Victoria is superficial and somewhat mean. She is known to look down upon those who don’t quite have the same sense of style or fashion as she does, and she looks down to those that she deems “poor and unfortunate”. She is catty; she is often quick with insults when she feels she is personally being attacked. She is a prideful person, and she isn’t the most intelligent. She doesn’t care to study anything other than fashion magazines and other such things; therefore she doesn’t do well with people who are supremely intelligent. Victoria, underneath all of this, is really just incredibly insecure. These insecurities are the cause of her eating disorder. Victoria is also twenty-seven years old; each alter has their own age and self-image. Victoria isn’t likely to act out by any means, but she is a bit more spontaneous than the others. If she believes something will make her “cooler” and more accepted, she will do it. She is easily susceptible to peer-pressure.
Most people react to Spencer when he is Victoria’s state of mind as if he was their new gay best friend. Because of his limited ability to dress like a girl, Spencer mostly just spruces up outfits that he already has. The obvious fact that he is a male makes it easy for people to simply assume Spencer is gay, which frustrates Victoria a little. She has been known to attempt to “prove herself” as a woman. Usually, though, when this happens, another alter is triggered.
JEFFREY: Triggers: When an adult is speaking to Spencer like a child, when an adult is alone with Spencer, or when someone nice and genial gets too close. Jeffrey seems to be triggered when Spencer wants to talk to a stranger, but can’t really handle that within his own mind. Jeffrey has never been triggered while Spencer has been in “Killer” or Christopher’s frame of mind, but has been known to appear after Victoria.
Jeffrey is a genial, eighty-three year old man who enjoys the quiet. He’s kind and gentle, always willing to help out as much as he can. He is more of a private person than many of the other alters. He is patient and easy-going. The only time he is “cranky” is when he doesn’t get enough rest. Jeffrey, when not entertained with games or crossword puzzles, is often sleeping. When he hasn’t had a lot of sleep—or if he comes out specifically after another alter—he has none of his previous patience, and has been known to yell. Due to his “age”, Jeffrey has a slight problem with dealing with people who he believes are much younger than him. He will snap at people for their immaturity and unreliable tendencies. Mostly, though, Jeffrey is kind and caring, and makes people laugh at his jokes and stories.
“KILLER”: Triggers: When someone is aggressively attacking Spencer, when someone larger gets too close, or when he is shoved or pushed aside. “Killer” gets triggered usually when Spencer gets scared or feels threatened. “Killer” can appear anytime, no matter what alter is currently in Spencer’s mind.
“Killer” is a stereotypical tough-guy. He smokes, drinks, swears, and goes out of his way to be the Alpha-Male in any situation. He has no respect for authority, for those around him, and very little respect for himself. He is loud, crass, crude, rude, and doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him. He is a womanizer; he believes the opposite of what Spencer believes about women. Upon further studying, I have come to the conclusion that “Killer” is a caricature of the person that ultimately triggered this disease within Spencer. He represents all the things Spencer is afraid of, and, by embodying these traits, “Killer” helps Spencer control them within himself.
CHRISTOPHER: Triggers: Christopher is a tricky one. Christopher is rarely triggered, and we can’t quite tell what actually triggers him. Usually, Spencer wakes up one morning and is in Christopher’s mind. He’ll go to sleep that night, and Christopher will be gone the next morning. Or, there will be an hour where Christopher just appears before disappearing for no reason whatsoever.
Christopher is a sociopath. Even though all of Spencer’s alters are completely non-violent, Christopher is the only one that you should be worried about becoming violent. “Killer” is all bark with no bite. Christopher legitimately does not care for the well-being of those around him. His central focus is himself. He is cruel and biting. Hyper-intelligent, Christopher easily spots other people’s weaknesses and exploits them to his own gains. He is charming, but in a dangerous way. He is able to seduce women easily, and he can always think of the perfect lie. The best way to control Christopher is to ignore him, but this is also dangerous, too. Christopher will act out to achieve attention. My best advice is to be wary of him, and keep an extra eye on Spencer the days that Christopher is present.
Likes: SPENCER: + Spencer enjoys reading, mostly. His favorite books are romantic novels, something that he feels he lacks in his life, whether in his own or what he witnessed from his parents. He believes that these stories, though horribly exaggerated, hold more truth than the love he witnessed at home. Spencer, additionally, likes to write his own stories. He is incredibly creative and talented, with an imagination that possibly helps aid us in why he has MPD. He likes to cook, as well, another outlet for his latent creativity. + Spencer doesn’t really like girls, but he’s not gay, either. He finds them to be beautiful, interesting people that, if he had the courage, he would talk to frequently. He enjoys being romantic, using the knowledge he gains from his books and stories to help him “woo” women secretly. Spencer enjoys his privacy, as well. It is easy to tell when Spencer is present because he will purposely avoid everyone; all of his other personalities are the social ones.
VICTORIA: + Victoria is a glamour girl, enjoying all things girls would. She loves make-up and hairstyles, clothing and shoes, and she particularly adores shopping. When Spencer was given his allowance, Victoria almost always becomes present in his mind, taking him on a spree of things he will never, ever use or wear. She enjoys fashion magazines and photography, occasionally holding her own fashion shows with the other patients, snapping away at an old muggle camera she owns. + Victoria also enjoys flowers and other such things a lot. She almost always keeps a bouquet of flowers beside her bed at night. She likes frilly, girly things. Lace, velvet, rich fabrics and scents. She has a hidden trove of perfumes and other things that she has secretly hidden from all the other alters. We can’t even find them, often enough.
JEFFREY: + Jeffrey has really simple tastes. He likes coffee, crossword puzzles, and cats. He will sit and patiently play checkers or chess with any of the other tenants. He’ll read, but his eyes aren’t as good as they used to be, so it has to be specially-printed books for his eyes. + Jeffrey also enjoys food and eating a lot. Whenever he got the chance to go out, he loved to splurge on fancy restaurants with delicious cuisines from all over the world. He particularly enjoys French food, with all the butter and cream. He likes fine wines, but we’ve had to cut back on his consumption of them.
“KILLER”: + “Killer” enjoys lifting weights, working out, and being fit in his own body. He mostly runs, doing that sort of cardio. He keeps a set of weights in his room, working out with those in his other spare time. He is almost constantly checking himself out in the mirror or any other sort of reflective surface; “Killer’s” first love has always been himself. + “Killer” is also a bit of a partier. If given the opportunity, he would drink himself to death. He is constantly reckless because he really just wants to “let loose”. He smokes cigarettes to keep himself “sane”, and would get a little bit rowdy if given alcohol. We have never allowed this to happen.
CHRISTOPHER: + Christopher, like “Killer”, likes himself above all else. He finds himself to be the most important person in the room, even when it’s obvious he’s not. He likes things that pertain to him—things like his appearance, clothes, shoes, and other such things. He likes girls, a lot. He’s often found flirting with the other patients. + Christopher also enjoys sports, but unlike “Killer”, Christopher enjoys the game more so than the physical aspect. Sure, he enjoys being in shape, but he prefers winning rather than looking good while he’s doing it. He’s incredibly competitive.
Dislikes: SPENCER: – Spencer dislikes being talked to, being touched, or having to even be near people that he’s not comfortable with. He dislikes tight spaces. He hates loud noises. Anything that could possibly scare him, scares him. - Spencer also dislikes being wrong. He’s a great student, constantly studying, and he doesn’t like someone telling him that he’s wrong or doing something wrong. He’ll will work hard to make sure that it doesn’t happen, ever.
VICTORIA: – Victoria dislikes looking bad. It’s as simple as that. She will sit in front of a mirror for hours, and refuses to be seen by people unless she looks flawless. She hates gaining weight, she hates being weighed on a scale, and she hates “tacky looking clothing”. – Victoria hates being ignored, too, particularly by boys.
JEFFREY: – “Kids”. Jeffrey is easily annoyed by “children”, which can vary from young kids to people that are around Spencer’s own age. He doesn’t like people who are loud and obnoxious, and he finds teenagers to be completely inappropriate and immature. – Jeffrey hates noisy, crowded spaces. They make him anxious.
“KILLER”: – “Killer” hates when people get in his way. He hates when people attempt to intimidate him. He hates when people… are just people. “Killer” has a very low-tolerance and patience level. He doesn’t do well with overly aggressive types; he always feels as if he has to prove himself to them. – “Killer” hates stupid girls. He can’t stand girls who dumb themselves down to appear attractive, or something along those lines. While not the most intelligent of Spencer’s alters himself, “Killer” just doesn’t like it when people pretend to lack intelligence that they already have.
CHRISTOPHER: – Christopher doesn’t like when the attention is not on him. He enjoys being the center of attention, and will do anything to keep it. He also doesn’t like it when someone won’t play his “game”. He doesn’t like when someone doesn’t fall victim to his charms. He doesn’t like when he’s not in control of a situation. – The color pink aggravates him, for some reason. In addition, he doesn’t like sunflowers or large bodies of water.
History: Spencer Matthews was first brought to us when he was five years old. His father, and his care-taker at the time, had begun to notice distinct changes within Spencer’s personality, to the point that he believed Spencer to be possessed by the devil. He was admitted to our pediatric ward, where I was not his caretaker. I have found his old file, and am including the original diagnosis:
Spencer has begun to show specific personality dissociation from what appears to be a specific, traumatic experience. He divides his attentions between two of his “imaginary friends”, who he pretends to be in situations he is uncomfortable in. Specific modes of treatment show have been taken, and none of yet succeeded. Since he is not a danger to himself or those around him, I am discharging him under the very firm agreement that he will be brought for therapy three times a week, an hour a day. Upon further analysis, I should be able to properly deduce a much better form of treatment in the hopes of finally curing him of his delusions.
Spencer was under the treatment of Healer Josephine Emmanuelle for the next six years, getting his “delusions” under control. He was pronounced healthy and was returned to the care of his father. He went to Hogwarts, returning home for holidays and summer breaks. He only came to therapy once a week, and, due to his age, was moved to my ward. Upon further inspection, Spencer seemed to be retreating back into his old ways. He was blocking himself off from the world, particularly me, and was going back into his old, reclusive ways. We attempted to keep him out of this pattern by upping the amount of therapy time he spent with me, and things seemed to be getting better.
The “trigger”, as is what is commonly referred to when a patient experiences a psychotic break, happened over the summer holidays between Spencer’s fifth and what would have been his original sixth year. We have not been able to specifically deduce what officially happen, but what we do know is that Spencer’s mind completely divided between twenty different personalities. The amount of alters—as they are known—became too much for his brain to handle; he was switching almost every two to three minutes. With specific potions and intensive therapy, we have managed to control his disorder to the four specific, nonviolent alters that he has now. I firmly believe that Spencer can be reintroduced into a normal social environment. He has shown such progress already, that I am confident that he can only continue to grow. All he needs is a little patience, a little kindness, and a few rather trustworthy friends and confidants.
Sample Post: [I wanted to do a sample post as Spencer so that you can see how he would be played. I was going to try and do multiple, with each specific alter, but it would take up too much space. I’m using Gloria as well in this post just to make things easier.
This is a post with Spencer, Victoria, and “Killer”.]
He was late. Again. Sighing, he tugged on his bag, his eyes scanning the area. His side was firmly pressed against the wall, and he was literally sliding against it. His breathing was slightly heavy—God, did the corridors always have to be this cramped? He took a deep breath, stopping for just a second to close his eyes. Breathing in and out the way Healer Neilson had shown him, Spencer was able to calm down enough to reopen his eyes. They were just trying to get to class, just like him. They weren’t out there to attack him; he was going to be just fine. Taking one more deep breath, he started moving again, his shoulder still somewhat attached to the wall beside him. His palms were sweating something awful, but he kept his death-grip on his messenger bag’s strap. Charms was just at the end of the hall, and it was his absolute favorite subject. He did well at Charms. Charms was fun. He wanted to make it to Charms today. He wanted to go to class, no problems. He wanted to sit in his seat at the back, next to nobody, and do the work. He wanted to remember going to Charms today. He took one more look around him and sighed. He could do this. He could do this.
“HEY!”
They weren’t talking to him. They weren’t talking to him—why would they want to talk to him?
Someone grabbed his shoulder, and everything went black.
- - -
It had been for-freaking-ever since she had seen the light of day. Sometimes, it was annoying sharing a body with such selfish, stupid boys. Sighing, she turned around, her eyes widening with her mouth as she spotted Gloria. “Oh my gawd, love, how are you?” She giggled, tucking her hair behind her ear and swatting Gloria’s hand away. She grabbed it and brought up to her eye-sight. “Black nails, you little rebel.” Rolling her eyes she dropped her hand, running a hand through her hair. “Ugh, I bet I look really gross right now, huh?” She glanced down at her clothes and her eyes widened. Ew! Who would put such a disgusting outfit together—and, worse than that, who would wear it out in public? She glanced at the people around her and her face paled considerably. People could see her in this?! No. No, no, no, this would not do. She turned back to Gloria, “Sorry, love, I gotta get out of this. I’ll catch up with you later. Love you!”
She walked around her, glowering at the people who passed her. “What are you looking at?” She snapped at someone who just was paying way too much attention to her right now. She got it, okay? She looked ridiculous. Her hair was probably a mess, and she was pretty sure her socks didn’t match, either. Not to mention that this underwear did nothing for her ass. She caught her reflection in the mirror and cringed. Did she gain weight again? She couldn’t afford to gain weight again. Her modeling agent would fire her, for sure, and then how was she supposed to make any sort of money? Turning back around, she kept walking, going to just go back to the dorm and lock herself in her room and not come out until she was at least twenty pounds skinnier. The world would make more sense, then.
“Hey, I needed to talk to you, Spencer!”
Spencer? Ugh, he wasn’t here right now. Didn’t she get that? Victoria flipped her hair over her shoulder, waving with the back of her hand to show this girl that she had no time for her to be such a total bitch. Spencer was not there right now, she should leave a message so she could get right back to her own business.
Except the girl just had to punch her shoulder.

“What the fuck was that for?”
One minute, he was just walking down the hallway, and the next this bitch just comes up behind him for no reason and punches his fucking shoulder like that? Who the fuck did she think she was? God, was he fucking her or something, and he forgot to call her after or something? He rubbed his forearm and glared down at the little spitfire. “Whatever the fuck I did, I’m sorry, okay? But touch me like that again and I can’t be held responsible for what I do. Christ.” His head hurt. He needed a cigarette. He patted his pockets, and, of course, there weren’t any. He looked down at the girl again. She had dreadlocks. She seemed like the kind of person who might have some. Maybe he could bum one.
“Ya gotta smoke? I’m all out and my head is fucking killing me.” He looked at her and rolled his eyes, tacking on a, “Please?” for good measure.
Stupid fucking bitches.
