Facial Properties: Hailey has a heart-shaped face and dark blue eyes that are rather large. Her nose, in contrast, is smaller than average and her lips are rather normer, simply a little darker than usual. Physique: Hailey is average type and quite thin. She is very fit and plays muggle sports during the summer with her brothers. She has light skin that tans easily and small wrists that enable her to wea bracelets she bought years ago that she should have outgrown by now. Her feet are average and she loves going barefoot whenever possible.
Personality: Hailey's full name is Hailey Swan-Morisette but she never uses the Morisette and simply goes by Hailey Swan. She is funny and sweet and quite smart but she never really puts herself to her work and doesn't get teh best grades. She doesn't care though and is onyl concerned with having a great time. Her parents don't care what she gets and are always busy so she rarely sees them even when she's at home. She loves Hogwarts because it is somewhere where she isn't alone all the time, ignored and forgotten by everyone. It is a place where she can hang out with friends and have a great time and she isn't going to let homework or studies get in her way of that.
Hailey tries to do good in class sometimes when she's feeling guilty about it but her heart just isn't in it. The only classes she actively participates in are Care of Magical Creatures (because she loves animals) and Transifguration (because she's actually quite good at it).
Hailey Swan is very loyal to her friends and not afraid of danger. She'll stand up to older or bigger students if it means protecting her friends, any day. She has a good heart even if some don't realize it at first and is a very nice, sweet girl.
She loves Quidditch and plays it with her brothers during the summer. She is hoping to be on the team this year. She plays chaser and also seeker and loves both. She loves being the center of attention and knows how to be so without appearing arrogant, self-centerd, or self-focused. "It's not like you choose whether you're pure-blood or not so you shouldn't descriminate based on that. If you want to hate a certian house it's a little different cause you're put in houses based on personality- somethign you control." Her parents, Cedric Morisette and Alanna Swan, both work for the Minisrty of Magic and are extremely busy working all the time.
The Swan-Morisettes are rich but Hailey's parents always made sure that she wasn't spoiled and was disciplined well. They taught her to be loyal to her friends, to stick up for her friends, not to be a bully, to be brave, to not be afraid of silly things, etc...
When Hailey got accepted into Hogwarts she was so happy and her parents took her into Diagon Alley the very next day. There she bought a small black kitten who she named Chloe. Chloe is now an adult cat but is still a faithful pet. Hailey loves her so much and enjoys cuddling up with her at night-time.
The first time Hailey might have used magic was when she was seven and made a small bush of flowers move to the left so it caught a baby bird just falling from the nest. She wasn't sure how but she just remembers wanting to help the bird but being too far away. Then she moved the bird back into it's nest and ran off to play.
Hailey has two older brothers, Jacob Swan-Morisette and Jason Swan-Morisette. Jacob is twenty-two and Jason is nineteen. Both attended Hogwarts but neither are still there now.
ABOUT YOU Name:Kabby/Kaede Years of Experience:1/2 Sample Post: Sirius sat in his room, peering out the musty window. Finally, quiet. Downstairs his mother and father were fussing over Regulus as usual, with not a thought to their other son. But he didn't want their attention. Not now and not ever. He got up with a sigh and walked across his small room to where a small calendar was pinned against the wall. He had circled September 1st in red marker and slashed off all the days before up until today. August 29th. With a semi-grin he pulled a marker out of his pocket and drew a new slash through today's date. Three more days.
The thought made Sirius much happier and he returned to the chair by his old desk. Three days until he could be at Hogwarts again and then he wouldn't have to see his parents or this disgusting home for many months. He wouldn't even have to see Regulus much; his brother wasn't even in the same house. His grin widened as he also thought of seeing his friends again; Remus, Peter and of course, James. Once he got to Hogwarts he would be free to do what he wanted instead of wandering around an old house, tiptoeing all the time, trying to make his parents forget he was there. Not that they need much persuasion, Sirius thought, and snorted. It was true, his parents constantly pretended he didn't exist, expect perhaps to point out that his clothes were filthy or he should cut his hair or mutter to each other loudly what a disappointment he was, pretending they didn't mean for him to hear.
Sirius slouched back further in the chair and rolled his eyes. Big news. He had realized long ago what a disappointment he had turned out and a few malicious words from his parents weren't going to ruin his day or make he feel guilty. He was distracted form his thoughts as he saw a small speck in the sky, approaching his window slowly. Sirius grinned and leaned forward. His hands fumbled on the rickety window crank and he turned it softly, watching the window creak and finally open. Ciel flew in a couple minutes later and Sirius petted her feathers softly. "That's my girl. Back with a letter for me?"
Ciel hooted softly and stuck out one leg in which a small envelope was tied with red string. Sirius grinned and untied the letter. Ciel hopped onto her perch and he leaned back in the chair and began to read the letter. It was from James.
Hey Sirius!
How are you? Never mind, don't answer. I can guess you've probably had a horrible summer in that house you hate so much, I feel really bad for you but there's no way your parents would have let you visit me. Even if you're old enough almost to not have to listen to them, you've explained countless times how you're practically imprisoned during the summer so I didn't think it would work out. But hey, I did offer right?
Sirius pulled a wry grin. It was true. James had offered many times for him to come over but Sirius had known his parents wouldn't have let him out of the house. Most days they locked his door so he couldn't even leave his room. He sighed and turned back to the letter.
Anyway, I don't really have much to say but I know you enjoy getting mail from your buds during the summer and I can't wait to see you soon. Just hold on for three more days, pal!
James
Sirius sighed and dropped the letter onto his desk. James had a point, sort of. He picked up a quill and a piece of parchment and began to write back, the same though circulating through his mind over and over. Three more days, three more days, three more days, three more days... Other: blackboard
