ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Name: Brianna Castisan
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Female
Year: Fifth year
Celebrity: Kelly Clarkson
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties:
Brianna’s face is relatively easy to forget, and she hates her Plain Jane looks. She wears a basic amount to make-up to help with her looks, adding blusher to her hear some cheek bones, and lipstick to enhance her lips. Her favourite eye shadow is green, so she is often seen wearing that, even if the teachers try to stop her for wearing make-up. Bri's hair is one of the few things that she loves about her body. Her medium length brunette hair, with light brown highlights is useful for many reasons. Firstly, it can cover up her face in almost any style, keeping her horribly disfigured (in her view anyway) ears out of sight. It can hold curls when needed, and can stay perfectly straight to. Her perfect style is to have it down in ringlets, which reach up to her shoulders. When let to dry naturally, her hair is quite straight with a few natural waves.
Although her hair is Bri’s most prized possession, it’s her eyes that usually catch peoples attention. Her face maybe plain, but her eyes do stand out from the rest. Not because you can see her soul in her eyes, or because they are massively big, in fact, her eyes are just the right shape for her face, if not a tad too small. It's their amazingly deep shade of brown that many people who meet her comment on, saying that the black pupil and dark brown iris almost match in colour.
For something that most people find the most attractive part of Bri, she sure does hate it. Her ears are too big, her nose has that bump, her chin sticks out and she has no cheek bones. In reality, though, her face is quite normal. It's not special in anyway, save for her eyes, and doesn't make people stare in awe. Her nose is smooth, apart from the smallest bump just in the centre of it, her mouth is medium sized, not large and producing, but not just a thin line. Her lips are quite a light skin colour, which is why she keeps her lipstick and lip gloss on her at all times. She has a 'beauty spot', or in her case, a huge big fat mole, on her right hand cheek, about the size of a small pea. It is barely noticeable, but it annoys her like mad, and she often tries to hide it with her make-up.
Physique:
Brianna’s body is sender and thin, with the appearance of being fragile. She has little muscle, but it somehow works for her. She is not to skinny that her bone show, but maybe slightly underweight. It was going to be her mother's main task to 'plump her up' a bit before she managed to persuade her mother otherwise. She weighs 8 stone 1 pound exactly, next to her tall 5 foot 6 (and a half) inch frame. This gives her a size 8 in clothes, and a small B cup bust. She didn't exercise, but eats mostly small on-the-go meals, never eating much at her house table for lunch or dinner, and her mother is one of the worst cooks on the planet.
Personality:
Brianna has an open mind and truthful mouth, which can get her disliked. She very rarely tells lies, and can be unmeaningly hurtful to others when asked a personal question. She gives the truthful answer, which is often not the one people want to hear. She doesn't try to hide the facts because she believes it is better to tell a person they look bad rather than lie and have them go around in a hideous top for the day and be laughed at behind his or her back. Not only that, lies, when found out, can often do more harm than good, and it is often best to avoid this with the truth, even if the person ends up hating you.
Bri likes listening to the news and looking up various random facts about its people. She is interested in everything and everyone, which makes her great company to have around. She is broad-minded and lacking in prejudice, which she is fascinated by even the strangest of people.
Bri can become quite downhearted, crabby and awkward on occasion, but not usually for long. She quickly picks up and it doesn't take much to make her happy. When happy, Brianna is fun loving, generous and extremely friendly, and can talk to you about almost anything, but she has a special love for children, horse riding and animals, and as a child she always had a good connection with others, developing a strong bond between herself and younger children. For some reason they liked her almost instantly, even if they were a little shy at first. This may be because she was, and still is, very young (at heart) and can still act like a young girl.
She is extremely curious, and very nosy, which can get on your nerves. Her first year here she was told about the Forbidden Forest, and now you could say she is almost obsessed. She has read a lot about it in the Library, mostly when she has a boring report due. She’s not stupid enough to venture anywhere near it, but she does love study it.
Brianna can be extremely jealous at times, and can hate a person for no better reason than they have something she wants. She does try to stop being jealous and can sometimes control it, but usually she will just snap at someone about something very trivial when she is annoyed at something completely different.

History:
Brianna was born in rural England, far from most towns or even villages. She was born to a witch and a muggle, making her a half-blood. Her home is a small cottage like house surrounded by a vast amount of farm land. Her father had embraced the magical world long before Brianna was born and used it to his advantage around the farm, with Bri’s mother using it to help out. The farm contains many farm animals, and each family member has their own horse, except for both Bri and her father. Both don’t believe they have the time to look after them, and her little brother Alfie has resigned to giving up her precious King when he goes to school. Bri is the middle child in the family, having an older brother, Danny, who was adopted. He was 4 years old when she was born, and he was adopted because he parents had previously had trouble conceiving. For some reason Danny always resented Brianna for being a witch, and resented the fact that he was just a muggle. When Bri was 6 and Alfie was 10 her parents had a boy, Alfie, and this increased Danny’s resentment. It was always clear that Danny didn’t hate them, and Bri has always known that, but she does hate it when he scowls at her and Alfie for no reason.
Brianna spent her childhood years at a magic pre-school, although she concentrated less on school work and more on playing with her friends. Because of this she now struggles at school with more subjects than most pupils. When the letter from Hogwarts arrived for her, her mother and father were ecstatic. Danny, however, began to resent her even more, and he often stole her wand. It wasn’t until she told him that she would do magic out of school after she was seventeen that he started acting better towards him. Bri has her suspicions that his motive is entirely selfish.
ABOUT YOU
Name: Rachel
Years of Experience: four
Sample Post:
She felt it. Every body felt it. You couldn't not. Natasha was practically thrown of her chair. Steadying herself, she stood up, dark brown eyes wide. Running out of the lounge, along with many other passengers abroad the cruse ship, Inquisitor, Natty raced up the stairs to the assembly point in the boat and crashed into a large man.
“Get back, Kid, it’s dangerous”
There was fear in his eyes, and his voice was shaky. Nat nodded weakly and didn’t ask for an explanation of what ‘it’ was; his face showed it was nothing to waste time over. Speeding down the stairs, her hand on the rail, towards her room. Upon entering her room she fell into the arms of her mother. Rachel was crying and had only just entered the room herself. She told Natty to grab what ever she could and run with her. Natty obliged and grabbed a handful of clothes, and a small black bag. She was lead upto the deck of the boat, which was flooding. Natty looked at her mother, confused. Everything was so fast, and didn’t make any sense. Why was there water everywhere? And why could she smell smoke, but not see fire? Something as not right, and it didn’t take a genius to figure that out.
Life boats were being filled, and Natty could see her mother and father. She ran upto them, and they grasped onto her, for, what would be, the last time. Suddenly she was jerked backwards as the boat gave up its struggle for life and began to fall on it’s side. Crashing to the floor the last thing she heard was her mother’s cry and her father calling her name..
NATTY! Natty! Natty…
As his voice faded the world around her did to, and she blacked out.
Cold. Cold and wet. Her fists were clenched, holding onto the few items that had stayed with her during the confusion, and her hair was in her mouth. Where was she? Natty breathed in, but more water than air entered her lungs. Rolling on her side, Nat chocked back up the water and was sick. She opened her eyes to see water, sand and sick. Pushing herself up onto her knees, Nat let go of her possessions, and watched the water underneath her roll in and out. She was exhausted and confused. Why there sand on the ship? Why couldn’t she hear anything? Natty looked up, and her eyes focused. She couldn’t see the ship, only a long strip of sand, and a bright blue sky. Too bright. She shut her eyes again, and shook her head, trying to wake up from the dream she was having. This couldn’t be real, could it? She opened her eyes again, but the same image was displayed before her. What was happening? She could see people, but not hear them.. She opened her mouth to shout, but nothing came out. Her hands slipped down her knees, and she fell on the sand, exhausted from just lifting her head. Something wasn’t right.
Trying again, Natasha managed to stand up, and slowly walked forward in a daze. Suddenly her ears exploded and sound could be heard all around. Littering the beach were bodies, and the screams and cries of people could be heard everywhere. She faltered in her footing often, stumbling forward on the white sand, and looked along the shore. The body’s looked slightly familiar, but none stood out. Until she saw her own reflection. That is, an older version of herself, portrayed as her mother.
Nat stood still, frozen to the spot, and then collapsed onto the sand. Crawling forward she placed a hand on her mothers body. No pulse. No breathing. No life. Natasha crumbled onto the sand, leaning on her dead mother body, and wept silently.
