Facial Properties:
Marie has blonde hair, reaching down to her upper back, which falls in loose curls, although does have a tendency to frizz if she doesn’t towel dry it properly. The day she washes it her hair will shine in light, and after left to dry she'll often be seen with it in her natural loose curls, but she does have to wash it almost every day as it gets greasy quickly. Sometimes she will be lucky and manage to leave if for 2 days, but her hair is her pride, and India hates it when she has to go out with it not looking its best.
Along with her blonde hair, Marie also features light blue eyes, not very big, but not small. They don’t attract attention on their own, but with her long eyelashes and high cheek bones, they have caused people to comment on how pretty her face is. Her lips are a very light pink, and only just stand out from her skin color, which is why she will usually wear natural colored lipstick, as it's darker than her lips. Her nose, in India's opinion, is way to long. Like Pinocchio! She hates her nose, and is always self-conscious that people are staring at it.

Physique:
Marie weighs a normal 9 stone 2 pounds, average for her 5 foot 9 frame. Her posture has often been described as ‘woman on a mission’, as she often looks like she has somewhere to be and she has to get there with no interruptions. She usually walks upright, but does occasionally slouch, and will look at her feet as she walks. This is often the product of too little sleep, due to the studying she is often doing until 12 midnight, as she often gets carried away with her work.
She keeps a good physical appearance at all times, even when in her school robes. She doesn’t like to say it, but she is proud that she is at Hogwarts, and not at one of the other ‘lower-class’, in her opinion, schools out there, so her uniform is usually neat. When not in her school robes Marie likes to wear the latest fashions, but only the ones she’s comfy in. She'll wear something that she knows won’t make her look stupid, and believes that if you don't feel comfortable in something, then you will like stupid in it. If she's not going to be anywhere important she'll just through on a pair of jeans, as long as she looks ok in them.


Personality:
Most of Marie Annette’s personality is the product of her family, and she prides herself in being able to hold the family name. She has very high personal standards and likes to live up to all her, and her parents, expectations. However, although she believes that she has a higher place in this world than many others out there, she understands that there are many more Wizards and Witches who are much more powerful than herself. She will respect someone who stands up for them self, regardless of their background. But that doesn’t stop her from being a muggle hater. Far from that. Marie and her family are descendant from a long line of pure blood Witches and Wizards, and she believes that Muggles should be viewed as a much lower class being than herself and her fellow Witches and Wizzards. As far as she is concerned, all other beings are much lower in any hierarchy to Witches, even other magical beings, and that they should be put in their place.
Marie tries very hard in her work and will often study extra hours after finishing her homework, if the has the time. She likes to produce good work for her teachers and learn more in her free time so she is ahead of the class. But she is not a suck up, as she will not spend her time in the class room listening intently and answering every question with her hand in the air like a pansy. Instead she will just doodle on her parchments or sit at the back and pass notes, as she will probably have read over what the teacher is talking about already the night before.
Marie may be a muggle hater, but she is very enthusiastic about meeting new people and making new friends. She can be very nice when she wants to, with the right people. She will snap and scowl, but at the end of it all her bark is much worse than her bite and as long as you don’t start anything, she’ll keep her wand safely stowed away in her robes. She hates to be wrong of lose at something and sill fight to the finish to win an argument. She finds her teachers extremely annoying and has had many detentions because of her behaviour.
Marie is very smart, one of her favourite subjects being the Wizard equivalent of muggle maths, but much harder; Arithmancy. She is often in her dorm studying for this particular subject because it is extreamly hard, but Marie is determined to do well. She also loves Potions and Transfiguration, however the though of Herbology and Muggle Studies is enough to make her fall sound asleep with bordem.

History:

Marie was born to a very wealthy family in the middle of England on a rainy day in summer. Her parents, Maxine and Rullen Isoul were a relatively young couple who already had one older son, Tomus, who was just two. From the day she was born Marie got everything she wanted and thrived on the attention she was given. Her and her brother have always been on good terms and they often played with their cousins happily for hours in the large house the family lived in. Her parents were exceedingly wealthy, if only because on the old money from descendants hundreds of years back.

When she was just eight years old her brother because extremely sick and was sent to St Mungos hospital for months and months. he died some time later in St Mungos and Marie has missed him ever since. Her parents never told her how he died, only that her was very sick. She hadn't noticed at the time, but now looking back she realises that it was around this time, or just before it, that her parents began to act much more strangely and became much more protective of her and her brother.

After Tomus' death things became much quieter around the house. Her parents refused to talk about Tomus and so Marie never mentioned him. When she was 11 and she got her letter from Hogwarts her parents were very proud of her and they send her away with a big bag of new books and robes. She spent her time in her first years trying to please her parents and that became a habit for her.

Now she's in year five she has upped her goals even though her parents have become much more withdrawn. She knows of a rising dark power in the Wizarding world and Marie believes that this is what is causing her parents odd behaviour. Still, she chooses to leave it be because she knows her parents agree with this dark power, and that is good enough for her.

She felt it. Every body felt it. You couldn't not. Natasha was practically thrown of her chair. Steadying herself, she stood up, dark brown eyes wide. Running out of the lounge, along with many other passengers abroad the cruse ship, Inquisitor, Natty raced up the stairs to the assembly point in the boat and crashed into a large man.
“Get back, Kid, it’s dangerous”
There was fear in his eyes, and his voice was shaky. Nat nodded weakly and didn’t ask for an explanation of what ‘it’ was; his face showed it was nothing to waste time over. Speeding down the stairs, her hand on the rail, towards her room. Upon entering her room she fell into the arms of her mother. Rachel was crying and had only just entered the room herself. She told Natty to grab what ever she could and run with her. Natty obliged and grabbed a handful of clothes, and a small black bag. She was lead upto the deck of the boat, which was flooding. Natty looked at her mother, confused. Everything was so fast, and didn’t make any sense. Why was there water everywhere? And why could she smell smoke, but not see fire? Something as not right, and it didn’t take a genius to figure that out.
Life boats were being filled, and Natty could see her mother and father. She ran upto them, and they grasped onto her, for, what would be, the last time. Suddenly she was jerked backwards as the boat gave up its struggle for life and began to fall on it’s side. Crashing to the floor the last thing she heard was her mother’s cry and her father calling her name..
NATTY! Natty! Natty…
As his voice faded the world around her did to, and she blacked out.

Cold. Cold and wet. Her fists were clenched, holding onto the few items that had stayed with her during the confusion, and her hair was in her mouth. Where was she? Natty breathed in, but more water than air entered her lungs. Rolling on her side, Nat chocked back up the water and was sick. She opened her eyes to see water, sand and sick. Pushing herself up onto her knees, Nat let go of her possessions, and watched the water underneath her roll in and out. She was exhausted and confused. Why there sand on the ship? Why couldn’t she hear anything? Natty looked up, and her eyes focused. She couldn’t see the ship, only a long strip of sand, and a bright blue sky. Too bright. She shut her eyes again, and shook her head, trying to wake up from the dream she was having. This couldn’t be real, could it? She opened her eyes again, but the same image was displayed before her. What was happening? She could see people, but not hear them.. She opened her mouth to shout, but nothing came out. Her hands slipped down her knees, and she fell on the sand, exhausted from just lifting her head. Something wasn’t right.

Trying again, Natasha managed to stand up, and slowly walked forward in a daze. Suddenly her ears exploded and sound could be heard all around. Littering the beach were bodies, and the screams and cries of people could be heard everywhere. She faltered in her footing often, stumbling forward on the white sand, and looked along the shore. The body’s looked slightly familiar, but none stood out. Until she saw her own reflection. That is, an older version of herself, portrayed as her mother.

Nat stood still, frozen to the spot, and then collapsed onto the sand. Crawling forward she placed a hand on her mothers body. No pulse. No breathing. No life. Natasha crumbled onto the sand, leaning on her dead mother body, and wept silently.
