ABOUT THE CHARACTER Name: Alexander McEvoy Age: 13 Gender: Male Year: 3rd Celebrity: Dylan Sprouse
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties:
He's still young, so Alexander's face still holds the roundness from his childhood. He had cute, full cheeks with faint cheek bones. His cheeks occasionally have a soft pink blush to them but they also can remain their same creamy tan color as the rest of his skin. His eyes are a piercing green color that hold a cute tone to them and his eyelashes are are light and he often finds that he loses a few every so often. His lips, soft and pink, are often curved into a sort of kind smirk. His hair is a dirty blonde color, falling to his shoulders with bangs that fall over his forehead, resting above his eyes in a way that he often brushes them away in annoyance.
Physique:
Alexander stands at a mere 5'3'' since he hasn't quite yet hit his growth spurt, being the age he is. His form is not fat yet it is not thin. He still has some of his childish form since he hasn't exactly reached puberty, though he's getting close. His weight ranges between one hundred and one hundred fifteen pounds no matter what he does. His arms and legs are bit small as are his hands and feet, but his fingers are slender. His skin is a soft creamy tan and is smooth to the touch. When people touch his hands, they often ask what kind of lotion he wears to make them so soft. His fingernails grow quite long but they're often bitten off since he has a bit of a habit of biting his nails.
Personality:
Alexander used to reject magic long ago and people thought of him as a hateful little brat, but half way through his second year, he accepted magic into his life and he decided to change his ways. He has become an overall nice person to be around. He loves to make friends and he never turns down the opportunity to be around others. He finds that he enjoys other's company better than being alone. He often gets along better with Muggle borns than he does with pure bloods, but he does his best to be friendly to all he can even if they aren't exactly friendly in return.
Alexander often acts different alone than he does around people. When alone, he often is silent and he keeps his nose in a book or in homework. However, when with others, he'll do his best to be the life of the party. He'll make jokes, he'll laugh at other friend's jokes, he'll tell amazing stories of his childhood and listen when others are speaking, he'll be the friend that others can tell anything to and expect him to keep it a secret. He likes to be there for people whenever they need him.
When he's upset, he refuses to speak to people sometimes and he will get a bit violent. It's rare he does get upset but there are some things that people say that do upset him and then he just doesn't want to talk about it. He'll often let it pass over without ever saying a word about it. However, when someone else is upset, he'll do his best to talk them into telling him what's wrong and he'll sit there and listen to every word and offer advice. He rarely cries and when he does, he cries for a long time. He tries to be strong all the time and when he cries, it's all of his emotions finally crashing past his joyful exterior.
Alexander is often at ease when he is doing something Muggle related since it reminds him of home and the life he used to have before he found out he was a magic user. He still can't bring himself to say the word 'witch' or 'wizard' so he refers to anyone who uses magic as a magic user. When situations arise such as fights or arguments, he tries to stay out of them because he hates when people are angry with one another and he doesn't like fighting because he feels as if it isn't right in his mind. He also hates to fight because he believes he is a weak fighter and would fall easily no matter what sort of fight it is. He can, however, talk himself out of most arguments and fights, which is one of his strengths.

History:
Alexander McEvoy was born to muggle parents Sarah and Charles McEvoy. When he was five, he began Kindergarten at the local elementary school in his neighborhood, becoming friends with many. He appeared to be a normal kid, hanging out with his friends, playing video games, doing everything that normal kids did. His best friend was a young girl names Miranda. He had a small child crush on her as they grew up and he had spent most of his time with her than most of his other friends but everyone knew he had a thing for her. Unfortunately, she was too blind to even see he liked her and when they were nine, she liked this other boy and crushed Alexander's heart. He told himself he'd never love again.
He had a few crushes here and there but he told himself never to let himself get too attached. When he turned nine, he moved from Wales, England, to London, England where he began attending his last few years of elementary school and making new friends. He had a new set of friends and he was happy with them. He would always see the older kids hanging around each other and he knew some of them and knew that a lot of them had been childhood friends. He always told himself that he'd be just like them when he got older and he continued to believe it. His beliefs, however, were crushed when he turned eleven.
In the mail, he received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Confused, he took the letter to his parents who became overjoyed at the fact that their son was gifted. He didn't understand at first and he told his friends. When they found out what he was, they began to avoid them and soon told him right to his face that he shouldn't go near them anymore. They feared him and he began to suddenly hate himself for being what he was. His parents paid no attention as they sent him off to his first year of Hogwarts. He was a very hateful kid and he was rude to many of the people around him. Most of the people in his house and in his classes began to hate him in return.
He returned to his home at the end of the summer and his parents noticed a dramatic change in him. They tried to comfort him but he merely shut them out and refused to speak to either of them. It was a quiet summer. And even though that had happened, his parents sent him to Hogwarts the following year. He started out the same hateful kid he had been but this time, there was a seventh year who would NOT take his additude and he got the lecture of his life that changed him from being the hateful little snot he had been to a boy who could see both sides. He started to slowly change, being friendly to a few and laughing along with them. Months passed and he finally had his own set of friends. He began to accept magic was his life and he decided he would be a magic user. He refuses to use the words 'witch' or 'wizard', but other than that, he accepts magic.
He left his second year in tears of saddness, sad to be leaving his friends. He looks forward to his third year.
ABOUT YOU Name: Alexandra Years of Experience: 4 Sample Post:
It was a crisp September morning. Hogwarts had begun it's session and there was a week before the classes would begin. The blonde haired third year began his morning by unpacking most of his things and then putting on a jacket over his simple Muggle clothes, which were a brown t-shirt, jeans, a watch, and a wristband. He slipped out into the halls and felt the chill of the morning as he made his way to the Great Hall. He found a few of his buddies and they ate breakfast before wandering through the halls, wondering what to do for the day.
Alexander McEvoy, often called Alex, was the life of the party with his friends. The five laughed together as they walked through the halls to the lawns. They decided they'd have a little fun with the Whomping Willow seeing as they had nothing better to do.
"Come on, Alex! Hurry up!" One boy called to him from ahead. Three of the boys were running and two, Alex and another, had remained sort of behind. Alex smiled as he picked up his pace, following them to the large tree that they had often played around. They knew one of them would end up in the Hospital Wing for it, but it was well worth it. The five began to run around, ducking to avoid flying branches and jumped to dodge the roots from beneath them. They laughed as one was lifted and then thrown a few yards. They ran up to the thrown friend to find him laughing his jolly little bottom off.
Suddenly, they saw the head boy of their house running toward them, demanding they get away from the tree. Detention was surely to be a punishment...If they were caught! The five took off running making sure that they weren't the slowest since the slowest was often caught by one of the spells that the head boy would throw at them. They stuck to the strategy of zigzagging, which often worked...But there were a few times that they were hit because of that strategy since they were avoiding hitting each other in the process.
It was just another year at Hogwarts.

Fantastic - I can't tell you how refreshing it is to review an application like this. That's not for a more-perfect-than-perfect character with some A-lister celebrity in their mid-thirties to model them. Kudos to you.
Accepted.
Alexander has been sorted into Hufflepuff.
