ABOUT THE CHARACTER Name: Adrianne Gareeshan Age: 17 Gender: Female Year: 6 Celebrity: Avril Lavigne
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties:Adrianne's eyes are large, almond-shaped, and almost always outlined in black. Thier grey-green hue greatly complement her fair skin and light eyebrows that are almost straight. Her lips are light pink and feminine, curvy and pronounced. She has a strong chin and jawline, but not so much as to look masculine. Physique: Adrianne stands about 5 feet, 7 inches. Her dirty blonde hair (most of the time accented with black or other colors) goes down to the middle of her well-toned arms. Her thin, but muscular frame makes her excellent at sports. She has a tattoo of a star on the inside of her left wrist, a dragon on her right arm, and a skull and crossbones a little above in on her shoulder.
Personality:Adrianne is somewhat of a rebel, but also wants to be a great witch. She does everything she can to be a nuisance to the people/professors she doesn't like, but never anything that would get her expelled. She puts on the bravado of being such a bad-ass, but in her heart, she really just wants acceptance from the people she's trying to live up to.
When she puts her mind to it, there is nothing that Adrianne can't do. Whether it's a homework assignment, a difficult spell, or even a Quidditch maneuver, Adrianne goes at it with both guns blazing. She's one of those "Try, try again" types whenever she screws something up. She is deeply motivated from all of the expectations coming from her family, so she does everything in her power to better her skills as a witch.
There are very few things that Adrianne is sensitive about, but when you hit a raw nerve, there is little chance she will ever speak to you again. The most you will get out of her is a stoney-eyed glare from across the corridor. She is very loyal to her friends, but there is a line, and she keeps an eye on how close you are to it.
No matter what she is doing, boys are the number one thing on Adrianne's mind. Where they are, who they are, and how to ring 'em in. When she is in a relationship, she treats her boyfriends well, but they don't always treat her well. She has become a little wary of boys since she has been hurt so much, but nevertheless loves to flirt with a special someone.
Adrianne is a hopeless flirt, and does so with the boys she likes often. The boys she doesn't like, she simply ignores. Adrianne is also extremely smart, but hates to do homework, so sometimes she just doesn't do it. Her disreguard for authority and mischevious personality sometimes get her in trouble, but the threat of getting kicked out usually keeps her in check.

History:Adrianne was born into an active wizarding family. All of her cousins, aunts, uncles, and her parents all are strong, able wizards. Ever since she was young, she has felt the pressure to be like them. Her parents had always hinted that if she were to not live up to thier standards, she would not be a true Gareeshan.
When Adrianne was small, she was swimming in a pond and was attacked by a Grindylow. She had no serious injury, but the damage was done. Ever since, Adrianne has been terrified of the water and refuses to go near it unless she absolutely has to.
More than anything, Adrianne is scared to go home, because if what she does doesn't quite match up to expectations, her father beats her often. He is one of those wizards who thinks he can do whatever he wants without any consequences. As a child, she would show up at school with bruises, but her teacher's never asked about them, not wanting to "get involved with her home life". She was greatly relieved when she recieved her letter from Hogwarts and was ready by dawn the day she was to board the bus at platform 9 3/4.
Adrianne's school life was normal enough, and she was frequently receiving howlers from her family from letters sent home from angry teachers. It became a game to her, to see how many howlers she could get a week. Whenever she saw an owl with one heading her way, she would look around at her friends and announce how many she had gotten so far.
During her third year, she began to greatly improve in potions, and it soon became her favorite subject. Adding bits and pieces of common things, Adrianne could make something extraordinary (and usually put it to good use). Ever since, she has wanted to be Potions Master at Hogwarts.
For the longest time, Adrianne has wanted to graduate and become a potions professor. This has been her best subject so far with it's precise mathematics and the wide range of uses. The potions teacher is one of the only teachers she likes, especially since she does exceptionally well in that class.
ABOUT YOU Name: Abbie Years of Experience: About two Sample Post: "I've had one already this week," Adrianne smiled with her perfect teeth, "I bet I'll be getting another after what happened yesterday. It was brilliant!" Her eyes shone with the memories of excitement when she had the previous day. She had earned two nights of detention and a letter home. She scoffed, all it was was a few bats...in the common room...okay, a lot of bats. But still!
"Adrianne, you are a genius! I even saw Peeves admiring your work for a few minutes after the professor took you away." One of her classmates praised her bravery. Adrianne grinned and turned back to her pumpkin juice and bowl of corn flakes. As she chewed, she watched the owls come in with the morning mail. There was Taxon. With a letter. A red one.
"Two! I've got two!" cried Adrianne excitedely as Taxon landed near her breakfast bowl and dropped the Howler into her lap. Adrianne picked it up quickly, grinned maliciously, and tore open the seal...
"ADRIANNE ANTOINETTE GAREESHAN! HOW DARE YOU DO SUCH A THING!? YOU ARE BRINGING SHAME ON OUR GREAT NAME FOR A FEW LAUGHS! IF I HEAR ABOUT ANY SORT OF THIS THING HAPPENING AGAIN, I SWEAR I'LL PULL YOU RIGHT OUT OF THAT CONFOUNDED SCHOOL! IS THIS THE SORT OF THING YOU LEARN THERE? OF COURSE NOT! YOU SHOULD SPEND MORE TIME STUDYING THAN PLAYING STUPID TRICKS! THEN MAYBE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO LIVE UP TO THE GAREESHAN NAME! YOU CERTAINLY DON'T HAVE ANY INTEREST IN IT AT THE MOMENT! YOU BETTER CLEAR UP YOUR ACT OR YOU'LL FIND YOURSELF WITHOUT AN ACT TO CLEAR UP!"
The Howler crumpled itself up, and burst into flame. A few of the black ashes landed in her cereal bowl. Adrianne looked around at her classmates with a severe look on her face, then burst out laughing. Her mother always said things like that, but she never actually did anything about it. Threats of taking her out of the school were unlikely to be carried out, since her family probably preffered her here than at home. Especially since they had Jacque to look after. Adrianne looked down at her cereal, and decided against picking out the ashes and eating the rest. She stood up, nodded to her classmates, and headed back to the Slytherin common room. Other: Blackboard (either that or sectumsempra, I couldn't tell if you wanted the one from the first rules or the second)
