About the Character- -
Name: Keller Finn Age: 16 Gender: Female Year: 6th Face Claim: Ellen Page
Canon or Original? Origanil
Facial Properties: Keller is proud of her ovular face, growing up she was always told that it was like her grandmother’s face. Right down to her delicate, triangular jaw-line. Her lips are somewhere between a pouting sort and that sort that are pencil thin. When Keller is smiling, something that happens more often than not, her cheekbones become rather more noticeable, for most of the time they aren’t particularly apparent, and endearing little dimples appear in her smooth cheeks. Her nose is petite and of the button-shaped type. Like most people, to either side of Keller’s nose are her brown eyes. Keller’s favorite facial feature is her hair. Same shade of brown as her eyes and usually obedient when being styled in the morning. Her makeup is simple. Black eyeliner, cover-up when needed, and lip stuff when fancied.
Physique: Keller has always been skinny and small, fact that always made her parents wonder. Even when she was a kid rushing about in Ireland or later the garden in Liverpool, she was a short, bony girl who was energetically racing around like a starved rabbit, and Keller never really gain any height or mass amounts of weight as she reached the age of a ‘young woman’. Even now, she only reaches a height of 5’ 1”. Although she has shaped out a little over the years, you still couldn’t exactly call her curvy. Keller’s size and figure often make people mistake her for being much younger, but personally she’s happy with her body, being a rarely confident type of girl.
Personality: Some may describe Keller as mature for her age, she simply sees it as having even a lick of common sense. Growing up caring for her father after her mother’s death put certain pressures on her that made her grow up faster than was probably good for her. Keller decided quickly that she needed to manage the household and trained herself to be good at skills like mending, cooking, washing, and balancing finances.
Despite her many adult ways, Keller still finds comfort in creative things like fantasy books and writing. Small calluses reside on her fingers from many hours of gripping a pencil or quill by candlelight at night. Occasionally coming across stacks of papers her father often comments on how alike they really are, as he often does the same.
Her other escape is daydreams, many of which are romantically based. Keller often stares off into space and imagines what type of guy she might end up with in her life. Sometimes the guy is dangerous and secretive, sometimes responsible and kind… The only constant is that he’s always handsome.
Her daydreaming tendencies are also a fault of Keller’s though, often keeping her distracted from housework or class work. She procrastinates to finish a thought, trying to grasp at possibilities out of reach at the time through her daydreams. It seems that Keller was born to be the personification of Murphy’s law. She’s indeed, somehow very attractive to whatever misfortune is lurking. If someone is injured in a fight, good odds it’s Keller. If someone mixed up an incantation or botched a potion in class, you can count on it being Keller’s partner, practicing on her or having her sample their attempt. Doors are flung open as she walked in front of them, steps disappear under her feet with a frequency that was statistically improbable, and Peeves seems to antagonize her with an elevated fury. She isn’t clumsy or foolish or reckless. She’s actually quite graceful, on a broomstick and off, and has more practical sense than most teenaged girls. It isn’t anything she does; things just happen to her, and she bares it all with a bemused sort of smile on her face and a slight shrug as if it say “oh, what now?”

History: Poppy Flint and Carter Finn met when Poppy auditioned for Carter’s play, The Witching Hour. Poppy was three years out of Hogwarts, twenty years old, and taking a break from the wizarding world and her job as a magical portrait painter to experience Muggle life. Carter was in his mid-twenties and a playwright. They fell in love instantly. Exactly a year after the play’s debut they married, and two years later Keller was born. Poppy and Carter raised her in Ireland, teaching her about the wizarding world as well as the Muggle world. At age seven, Keller and her parents moved out to England in hopes of furthering Carter’s theater career. They lived in Liverpool, in a nice house with a lovely little rose garden in back and a nice front yard. Everything was perfect. Not much after though, tragedy visited the Finn family. On her way to deliver a magical portrait to a customer, Poppy Finn was struck by a misaimed and mispronounced spell that put her into a coma. Time past… Keller was accepted into Hogwarts. Her father wrote new plays. Finally, in the middle of her third year, the inevitable happened. Poppy Finn passed on. Keller left early for Winter Break to be with her father in Liverpool. Her mother was buried in her beloved Ireland, but father and daughter remained in England. When summer came, Keller quickly transitioned into the roles of house keeper and care taker for her father. Carter was depressed and had to be basically bribed into writing plays, which usually revolved around tragedy then. Once more, time passed…. And things became better. Now in her 7th year things have finally started to return to normal in the Finn household. Carter’s began to brighten in his daughters care, finding a new spark of creativity. Keller are slowly transitioning back to the roles of father and daughter.
Sample Post:
She was in an egg, somehow she knew it was an egg. It was warm and safe… And she could feel herself developing inside of it. Lungs developed, fingers, arms, legs, a heart… She was growing inside of an egg. And as she grew her egg became smaller… Or was she becoming bigger? She couldn’t tell. She continued to grow and develop, until one day the egg was to small. She felt trapped! She had to get out. Get out…
Get out!
She banged against the hard sides of the shell with her fists, kicking and fighting. Fighting, fighting until a crack started to form. The crack grew and became a small hole and she pulled at it until she could fit through it. It was bright outside of the egg, and all around her others, strangers, were fighting free and emerging from their eggs. Everyone, including herself, were nude.
She stretched and felt her wings, large and beautiful, stretch out behind her. She smiled and wiggled happily, it was nice to move about after all that time inside of the egg! She glanced about the sky and her surrounding and launched herself skywards, her wings stretching out behind her.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Robin Groaks groaned tiredly as she sat up and scratched at a small scab on her shoulder. Her short, red hair stuck up in tufts in all directions and she felt a killer headache already forming. That was it, no more shot contests at Barty’s Bar for her! Robin laughed as the thought even crossed her mind, already knowing she’d break the vow before the week was out.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
“Hold your horses, ya impatient fuck! Let a girl pull some clothes on!” Robin snapped as she stood and pulled her baggy red sleeping shirt over her head and searched the floor for clean clothes. A triumphant sound came from her mouth as she spotted a pair of once-worn jeans and a clean, black shirt with a white biohazard sign on its front.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
“Alright, alright! I’m coming!” she snarled and shuffled towards the door. Robin yawned and scratched the back of her head as she yanked open the door, “What do you want?
