About the Character- -
Name: Simone Marie Arlington Age: sixteen Gender: female Year: sixth Face Claim: Jessica Stroup
Canon or Original? original
Facial Properties: The most spectacular thing about Simone would have to be her eyes, at times a deep sparkling blue, other times a pale jade green, depending on the light. Eyes have always been called the 'key to the soul' and Simones eyes portray her inner charisma and love for adventure. Her eyes are very much so like an open book for her, showing when she's happy or sad-frightened or mad. The second most astonishing thing about Simone would have to be in her smile. Beneath her full pink lips lay her sparkling white teeth, usually beared in a grin because, honestly, when was Simone never not smiling? Her skin always had a sort of rosy glow around the cheeks, a trait that was always heightened whenever she blushed, and naturally tan skin that made her look, in her own opinion, semi-exotic, like an italian belle, although she was born in America. Next would have to be her long, dark hair, with honey colored highlights, that framed her whole face. Her choppy hair style some girls would consider tacky but Simone actually preferred it because it brought out the layers and gave her hair more bounce. Her hair was usually pulled up quickly in a bun, however, it was one of the things she payed little attention to since being accepted into Hogwarts. Physique: Standing at about 5'5 (5'8 in heels) and weighing about 145 pounds Simone was by far not the scrawniest thing around. To be honest, she was constantly thrifting for more flattering clothes, she often thought she looked too 'chunky' compared to her rail thin classmates. Now, she would never be considered 'fat', she wasnt even mildly over weight, but with her curvy body, large breast and hips, she constantly felt slightly out of place which caused her to diet non stop. The only thing that Simone really liked, physically, would be her long, tan, legs. If she was only 5'5 then her legs had to have been at least 4'9 that's how extremely long they were. They always looked gorgeous in dresses, something Simone seldom got to wear. Simone had the slight outline of muscles in her arms, proving that she isnt completely out of shape and she considers herself average-though many others would beg to differ.
Personality:
There is only one way to really describe Simone, and that would be lively. Even growing up as a child, people used to comment on how she is 'so full of life'. She would be that girl, the one who was always surrounded by a group of guys goofing off and playing games, trying to beat the others score. She never really had many female friends, which was probely due to the fact that she never felt like she really fit in. They all cared about make up and clothes and, that was great for what it was but it was never all that. As she grew older however, the guys started coming around for other reasons and it wasnt to play games. She's what her mother called a 'late bloomer', she was still stuck in the past while everybody else was busy growing up. That still never prevented her from being quite the spitfire. Despite her inner insecurities, she was raised to never show weakness, so if someone called her a name...she called them one right back. Her family were survivors, her mother clawed her way into pureblood society and Simone was expected to do the same, though she never really saw the point in blood origins. Doesnt all blood bleed red, in the end? If there was one thing that could be noted about Simone it would have to be her charisma. She was always a very vibrant, expressive person. Rarely ever biting her tongue, even if what needed to be said wasnt pretty. If she needed answers, she asked. Some people were afraid to ask questions because of people's reactions but, according to Simone, your going to respect her as she is or your not the type of person she really wants to be around.
Simone tends to be shy in new situations, but she knows that the only way she is ever going to get anywhere in this world is to make her name known. She never hesitates to start conversations with people, even when her gut is screaming for her to runaway. She is bold in the manner in which she speaks to people, and she hates people who are down right shallow and obnoxious. She has gotton more than a few rumors spread around about her by vicious girls who she didnt bow down to. But that has never been much of a problem for her because, truthfully, she'd rather curl up with a book than social network. Partying has always been fun, when with the right people, but she realizes that sometimes you just need that momment to yourself to refresh. Some people would go as far as to call her 'studious' a title she has never claimed for herself. So, she spent friday nights in the house studying? That doesnt mean she doesnt have even bigger plans for saturday...but nobody thinks of it that way. Everyone moves too fast, but Simone prefers to relax. She know's where she's going in life and plans have always suited her better than impulstivety. She doesnt see the point in rushing, trying to be everywhere at once. If the one person who matters see's you-then why should you care who else noticed your face? She likes to consider herself confident, for she is fully aware that she is semi pretty, averagely smart, and a decent person. There's nothing wrong with her and people would be lucky to be her friend.
Along with being charismatic and bold, she could also be described as outgoing. She loves to have fun and is a genuinly happy person, she never got into fueds and fights, usually being the one to solve conflict. Growing up she was predominately liked by her peers, and always tried out for sports and clubs. She make good grades, something she prides herself on, and is easy to get along with. Simone rarely has a problem with anybody unless, of course, they are very rude to her and loud. Nothing bothers her more than loud, ignorant people. Simone had the tendency to be sneaky and because of her likable persona people rarely suspected that she would ever do anything wrong-but if you rubbed her the wrong way, well, lets say she doesnt start fights. Where people can see them. But she will definately get back at you. She has the tendency to be hot headed, and she sometimes doesnt mean to be. She prides herself a thrill seeker and once that adrenaline starts pumping, she sometimes says things she doesnt mean. She'll usually apoligize later, however, whether she wants to or not. It's just her nature. She doesnt like when people yell at her or when she is disliked. She's very easy going and prefers to be around people who are the same, not high strung and tense like some people are. She has a very zen outlook on life. She lives it to it's fullest, pretending every day is her last and she jumps at chances whether it comes to love, or what to wear that day. Nothing is too crazy or outragous in the heat of the momment.
Although, to people on the outside looking in, Simone may appear to be this utterly care free girl but in reality Simone struggles with alot of things that she is to afraid to let people see. In many ways she is more mature than her peers yet she hasnt stopped growing. Because she puts on this naturally defensive attitude and appears very nonchalant people assume she doesnt have feelings, rather then spending the time to get to know her-they brush her aside like she isnt significant when many people would find a precious gift, if they were only willing to look below the surface. That is why the few friends Simone has, she is very close with. She has the tendency to keep things bottled up for monthes, making it easy for her to hold grudges. She's modest, never boasting about her abilities or fussing about her problems...she prefers to handle situations by herself instead of dragging others in because that's how he said, she said starts. She was raised to value money and social order above anything else, and though around her family she pretends she cares-she feels like they don't really know her. If you have a few good people who love you in this world who you can trust....she'd like to think thats enough. And it is, for her.

History:
It was a bright and sunny day when Simone Marie Arlington was born into the world. Born to Gabriel Arlington and Raquel Arlington she was the second, and last, child. Her older brother, Adrian, was born two years before on the rainiest day of the year. Both in the same month, June, and close to the same day. Simone being the sixteenth-Adrian being the twentieth. They were their parents pride and joy, and it was shown through everything that they were given. The history of Simone's family isnt quite as pretty and fairy tale-ish, however. Simones mother was, to be blunt, a half blood whore. Simone's father was merely another customer when, according to Simone's mother, they looked into each other's eyes and knew they had to be with each other. Simone never believed much in love at first sight. Her father, Gabriel, was already married to his first wife while he was seeing Simone's mother, but they were going through some issues. Simone's father was a sucessful pureblood business man and he claimed that his first wife merely wanted his money. To this day, Simone still cant see what he honestly though her mother had wanted at the time, but they are still happily married so Simone never questioned the past. Her mother went from rags to riches after Gabriel divorced his first wife and, three monthes after their official marriage Raquel gave birth to their dark haired, blue eyed baby boy, Adrian. Simone merely followed two years later.
Despite being born in Bristol, England, Simone was raised in a middle class home in the suburbs of America-amongst muggles. Her father was expanding his business over seas and he desperately wanted to network. So naturally, Simone and the rest of her family followed him acrossed the pond where she was raised until she turned eleven and transferred to Hogwarts. As a young girl, Simone often considered herself over protected. While Adrian started going off on his own-Simone was still left at home or stuck spending time with her mother, which wasnt really a bad thing...just not the coolest in the world for a maturing girl. While Simone never went without, her mother constantly took her shopping in hopes of showing her the other young girls and teaching her 'etiquette', Simone would have rather preferred to be left alone-a trait her mother found 'unlady like'.
As she grew older, however, her parents began to realize that maybe, just maybe, she did need space and decided to let her do her own thing. She began planning her own social events and Simone was never one to half do anything. She was always the center of attention when she entered the room, shooting off her mouth at all times and informing everyone of her input on the newest law prohibiting centaurs from walking the streets of Hogsmeade. She was a vivacious little girl, full of charisma and life, and she was the apple of her parent's eyes. Once she started Hogwarts she, naturally, moved on campus. Her parents also moved acrossed the lake to be closer to her, her father doing his networking now through express mail, while her mother managed to the house. Simone was estatic to finally be on her own, even as a young child, she was filled with ambition and hope that she could create a new identity for herself within the walls of this majestic castle that was unlike anything she had ever seen.
Starting Hogwarts had been a more difficult adjustion then she thought, classes were hard and nothing came easily for her but she knew if she was willing to put in the effort she would one day become very known and very successful.

It's all for her, or none at all She'll pick you up just to watch you fall
Aceline looked good. She knew she looked good. It was one of those things you felt in every fiber of your being. The kind of thing that made you stop in front of windows, hoping to catch your reflection because you couldnt believe this was you. It sent a self satisfied tingle through to her fingertips. Not only did she look it, however, she felt it. Tonight, something good was going to happen. There was no way around this kind of feeling. Stopping in front of yet another store window she studied herself, pretending to look at the dresses hanging there. Some people, fools they were, could mistake conciete for insecurity and no way was Aceline going to let that term, insecure, hang around her neck like her golden locket. No way. Wrapped in a grey cashmere sweater dress, with sheer black tights, and patent leather Miu Miu's, nothing could bring her down. She was fierce. She was bad. And right now? She was really late for a party.
Flipping her long blonde curls over her shoulder, she lifted her black leather bag from under the crook of her arm. She was searching for her phone, which she must have lost days ago since it hadnt rang once in at least a week. Sighing, she hoisted the bag back on to her shoulder, smiling slightly as her heels clicked against the pavement beneath her feet. Tonight was her night, her time to shine, her...her...her everything. Her whole life practically resided on this one night here. And why? You might be asking. Simple. Every time she appeared in public, it could make or break her. If she didnt smile enough, laugh enough, or look just exactly right she would be broken, as useless as last monthes Prada. No, she wasnt always this shallow. Since meeting Noah, things had changed. She started to be less self centered and more open to new things. Why, yesturday she even left the commonroom in jeans. It was only for a momment, but still. Talk about taking fashion risks. She felt alive with Noah, different then Kalib-much different. And yet, still the same. She cared for Noah. Not on the same level as Kalib, far from it, but as much as she could care about someone who could never really understand her.
Glancing at her passing reflection, she sighed. Standing outside the three broomsticks, she took a deep breath-sucking in her stomache-before pushing open the heavy doors. What she saw disapointed her. A few people, yes, scattered about here and there but nothing overly special. She didnt see a single Slytherin in the place, which was explainable. Which one would be here? They probely took one look and left. Upon closer inspection she noticed Massie standing close to Noah, she frowned at the intimacy of the closed setting but thought little of it. Hello! Boyfriend and bestfriend. Massie wouldnt dare. Noah might be dumb enough to, however...she was mommentarily distracted by Khai. She gave her a smile and a small nod. They hung out, on occasion, but you wouldnt really call them 'friends' the typical Slyth relationship. Party buddies?yes, partners in crime? maybe, friends however small? no. Certainly not. Pulling on the hem of her thigh baring dress, she made her way over to Noah and Massie, wondering what she should do. Say hello. It's always a start. Things were a little off between Mas and her, after her suspicious about Masise liking Noah. But who couldnt. He was gorgeous. And, as much as she hated to say it, a generally nice guy. "You know I'm really glad you came here tonight. Really glad"
And then her world shattered.
She literally felt her heart drop as Noah leaned in to place a kiss on Massie's lips. They remained intwined for several seconds before Aceline felt red hot rage stir up in her. She wanted to go over and rip them apart. But she waited. Calmly, nails digging into her palm, while they finished their little session up. Watching them was like watching a movie on constant rewind. It repeated and replayed in her head over and over again. When the pulled apart Aceline plastered on a big fake grin, closing the gap between them.
"Hello, love." She said, smiling, malice flashing venemously in her eyes. "What was that I just saw?" she questioned them both, a tone of accusation setting in. "Because it looked like you two sucking face. My, my, Noah love I didnt know skank was your style." she glared harshly at Massie, who did look gorgeous tonight. If white trash were in fashion. She stood between the two now, having wedged herself there, and stared coldly at them both.
"You have three seconds. Explain. Three....two..." She paused. "One."
