About the Character- -
Name: Emily Rachelle Danvers Age: Sixteen Gender: Female Year: Fifth Face Claim: Ashley Olsen
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties: Emily's hair is a soft, blond color, darker at the roots, and falls just past her shoulders when wavy. When straight, however, it hangs to almost her elbows. Her face is oval shaped, and her skin is almost acne free, a natural beauty. She rarely ever needs make-up. Her eyes are a beautiful sea green color, but they change in the light. Sometimes they're a brighter green when she looks into the sun, and sometimes darker when looking right into someone else's eyes. They're big and round, without being too large for her face. Her nose curves in all the right places, small and proportionate. Her cheeks are small; her lips as well. She has straight, white teeth, and small ears, triple pierced in both ears, and her left cartilage holds a diamond stud.
Physique: Emily's body is small, but other than that, quite beautiful. Her shoulders are small and sculpted, her arms also quite small, and luckily for her, usually hairless. Her hands are smooth and warm, and her fingernails are always clean, medium length, and painted bright neon colors. Her chest is small, but it's proportionate to her body, so she doesn't complain. Her hips are small, and her ruby red belly button ring is prominent when she wears even semi-tight clothing. There's a tattoo on her lower back, the right side, a small black eighth note her father bought her and her twin sister for their sixteenth birthday. Her stomach is flat and porcelain colored, like the rest of her body, leading to long, slender legs and tiny, manicured feet, her left foot bearing the identical cross tattoo that her mother and sister both have. Her youngest sister will get it as soon as she becomes of age.
Personality:
Who would ever wanna be king? Em has always been the center of attention. It's like she craves the spotlight, but not in an arrogant way, however, and by no means is she a drama queen. She just loves being in front of people. Deep down, it's also a self-esteem thing. She feels worth something if she knows someone is thinking about her, and how else is she going to get people thinking about her if she doesn't create situations that involve large crowds of people? Part of it has to do with entertainment, though. Em has such a strong sense of empathy, and, on occasion, it gets her into trouble with her mental health, but for the most part, she just knows how people are feeling. And she knows that sometimes, people just need a laugh, or a hug. She'll do whatever it takes to see people smile. Even if it means running around in a rubber chicken suit between classes.
A diva is a female version of a hustla Em, to put it shortly, is glamorous to the core. Her parents always provide whatever Em and Ainsley need, and, on occasion, Em gets a little bratty and whines at her mother to take her shopping. Em always knows the latest trends, sometimes starting them herself. She just loves to look good. Sometimes she'll spend hours in front of the mirror, parting and reparting her hair, applying and re-applying her eyeliner. Perfection, when it comes to her looks, is essential. She's also a bit of a ditz when she wants to be. It's not terrible stupidity. She knows how to spell orange, but she tends to use the word "like" in every other sentence if she's not careful. Em tries to be aware about sounding like an idiot, but sometimes, she lets it go and begins to sound like the only fact she keeps in her long term memory is her father's credit card number.
I do it for love Em is boy crazy. Really. If a boy is cute, and he says even one word to her, she's already envisioning them sitting on a porch swing outside a tiny cottage, sipping lemonade and discussing their children. It's ridiculous. Em just can't help that she loves boys. Her heavy, yet irresistible french accent has every one of them drooling. They're so cute; with their big muscles and their loud laughs. She has a problem, though. Whenever Em gets a boyfriend of any kind, they date for a short amount of time, and before they get a chance to try kissing her, she breaks it off. It's almost as if Em would prefer the crush stage. The stage where she just dreams of horseback riding on the beach. She's afraid of rejection. She's never been kissed, and sometimes it makes her sad, but Em has to be certain that the boy she's kissing is worth it.
She's a rebel, she's a saint Em is a total sweetheart, and everyone knows it, but she has a rebel side, too. She thinks drugs are for idiots, but she's all for going to party late at night. Even if it means sneaking off campus to the forbidden forest. Em has a bit of a dark side, as well, and it allows her to make friends with the not so good people. Em has this theory that everyone has some good in them , and she's determined to find it in everyone. If it requires her to take a few booze shots to get the goth kid to open up to her, she'll do it. On the other end of the spectrum, Em is an angel. She's the kind of student who brings real apples to her teachers. She always does her homework, writes her family once a week, and always washes her clothes. She's every mother's dream, and she prides herself in that. It's almost as if she has two sides to her personality. Emily is the little girl who always goes to bed on time, and Em is the little ball of fun that every party needs. She tries hard to make sure the two don't clash. But sometimes, it doesn't always work.

History: Emily Rachelle Danvers was born Christmas morning at the local inn of a minuscule village in Nontron, France, a minute and a half before her twin sister, Ainsley Rae. They were brought into the world by Daniel and Joan Danvers. Emily was the second born into the family, her sister and herself the middle children. Their older brother, Charles Andrew was five when they were born, and their little sister, Elizabeth Ann, wasn't born until Emily and Ainsley were almost twelve. They were a tight family, and Emily's childhood was a normal one. Both of Em's parents had magical abilities, but decided against having a magical profession. However, they always encouraged their children to be proud of their abilities, and also ingrained into their brains the idea of equality; the right for every human to be equal, ability or not.
They chose instead to open up their own little bookstore, and they kept it alive for thirteen years. Charlie, Em, Ainsley all worked there during the summers, and Charlie even managed it for a while until he married his wife, Olivia. Charlie was married when he was sixteen, and Daniel and Joan were worried about him being too young, but they supported him none the less, and Em and Ainsley were flower girls in the wedding the summer before they were expected to attend Beauxbatons. But things took an unexpected turn when Daniel was offered an opportunity to manage the largest and most popular bookstore in London, and Em and Ainsley had to pack their things and spend the last three weeks of their summer learning an entirely new language from their small, seaside home in England. Em managed to keep her chin up and hopes high the whole time.
Em's first couple of years at Hogwarts were difficult ones; she only knew French and everyone around her spoke English. It was a difficult transition for her, since Charlie was already done with school and married, and wasn't around to help her learn a new language. Em and Ainsley began to feel shut out from their school, and from their home. Their mother was always busy with Libby, since she was still just a baby, and their father was always away at work. But they stuck together, and Em's best friend became her twin sister. However, after the first couple of years, Em and Ainsley started to get the hang of Hogwarts, and began to build quite the reputation. Emily was always the outgoing one, had a lot of friends, and all of her teachers loved her. Ainsley was quieter, more subdued, and liked to spend time her time with her music. Still, even when Em began to make more and more friends, she stayed true to her twin and stuck by her side, even when Ainsley preferred to stay behind for all of the parties.
The summer before Emily's fourth year, everything Em knew was shattered right before her eyes. She'd come home from hanging out with some friends, and stormed up to Ainsley's room, angry at her for not wanting to come with her. Ainsley had been acting strange that summer, and Em didn't know why, but she didn't like it. She burst into Ainsley's room, and didn't see her anywhere, so she headed for the bathroom. When Em opened the door, she bumped up against something hard. When she finally pried it open, she realized what was keeping the door closed. It was Ainsley's leg. Ainsley was passed out on the floor, the toilet containing some yellowy-reddish substance. Em screamed at the top of her lungs, and Ainsley was rushed to the closest muggle hospital the minute her parents could get over the shock. Ainsley was quickly diagnosed with Anorexia and Bulimia, and put on medications immediately. Em was devastated. Her sister, her partner in crime, her shoulder to cry on, had tubes all over the place and wasn't breathing on her own. Em stayed by her side the whole night, not getting even a second of sleep.
The next few months were the worst of her life. But eventually, Ainsley came home, fresh from rehab and eating well again. Emily was relieved, but the doctors ordered that Ainsley not return to school for a year, just to make sure she didn't slip back into her old ways. Em was scared out of her mind. A year without her sister? She didn't even want to imagine it. But her parents' decision was final, so Em went back to Hogwarts for her fourth year by herself. It turned out to be an okay year. Em made a lot more friends, making up the excuse that Ainsley wanted to be home schooled for a year, and her friends just went along with it. When Em returned home from her fourth year, Ainsley could see the changes in her. She saw the happiness in her eyes, and Ainsley made the official decision to stay home schooled, so her sister could have a school life without always having to worry about her. Em tried to argue with her, protesting that she needed her there, but Ainsley knew it wasn't true. So Em set off for her fifth year by herself again, and she's loved it the whole time. She keeps in touch with Ainsley as much as she can, but Em has to admit that she loves being at Hogwarts known as Em, and not as "the girl with the twin".
