__________ Home Life & Familythey drive you nuts, but what can you do?Nice pic, right? My mum caught me at a weird time taking a walk back from church on Christmas day when I was 13. |
My 17th birthday! As you can see, it was quite a day to remember. Yeah, I know I'm silly, but that's why it was fun! |
This is my daddy, Mr. Dave Baker. He's pretty protective of me, but he's like that with Joelle and Ray too. He's pretty much just like that. He worships Mum, it's really cute. I'm gonna be really lucky if I find a guy half as amazing as Daddy! |
And this is Mum! It's funny, she looks nothing like this normally. Daddy had a party-thing at the bank, so Mum got all fancied up for it. This is one of those "Mrs. Julie Baker" pictures that just make me laugh. |
Now this is more like it. Mum hates getting all dolled up, but she doesn't really need to, does she? Mum is the kind of person who is the life of the party without acting stupid or getting drunk. I'm more like her than Joelle or Ray, but not because of her charm. She's actually kind of quiet, despite what you might think. |
Meet Joelle, the older sister. She might look sweet, but watch your back. I mean sure, she can be nice, but she's an older sister. Even so, Joelle's probably one of my better friends. She's gotten a lot wiser since graduating school. She actually opened up a fashion store in Diagon Alley, even though it's pretty small right now. |
Now here is probably the cutest and most annoying boy in the entire world! Ray, or Raymond John when he gets in trouble, is sooo the baby of the family. He looks really sad here, doesn't he? I think this might have been when Mum told him we were leaving the muggle amusement park. It wasn't a bad day, even though we had to listen to Ray cry all the way home.
|
For a kid, Ray's pretty much a genius. Especially with music. Now I'm not horrible at the flute, but Ray is something else. He can play piano, guitar (electric AND accoustic), bass, and drums, and he's currently learning the cello and violin. I know. I can't believe it either. But when he starts some rock band when he's older, I am so going to get backstage passes to all of his gigs!
|
Last year when I found out I got the lead role in the play. My daddy sent me this gorgeous necklace in celebration of it. Apparently Jules knew about it beforehand, because she had the camera ready to go as soon as I opened the package. And, as you can see, the common rooms are a bit more elegant in an all-girls school... Surprise! |
I can't forget my puppy! I consider Frisky just as much a part of my family as Joelle or Ray... That's not sad, right? This was taken when I was 15, at the beach with the whole family. Frisky is just about as old as I am! |
Last but not least, here's Cubbs, my owl! |

_____ Beach Time!sun surf and sand.what else doyou need?My mum is such a dork... That's probably where I get it. I guess my little brother Ray was waiting to take the picture, because my mother decided to do some kind of tribal dance in the sand, just for fun, and fell flat on her butt! I wish Ray would have gotten a picture of that instead, but hey, what can you do? |
This is quite possibly my favorite picture of myself everrrr! Or maybe not my favorite, but it's up there. I'm just silly you know? And I know my hair wasn't even near cooperating, but I still just get happy when I see it. |
Do you ever have one of those moments with your friends where everyone's just being stupid and you end up trying to take those photos of each other at the same time? Well, I guess I was slow. |
