Emily, my love --
I absolutely cannot wait to spend my summer with the prettiest girl in the world. We're going to experience so much these next few months. Like. A part of our entire lives is going to be spent together, so that means there'll be tears and laughter and everything in between. But I need you to know, right now, that no matter what may happen between us, I'll still love you and you'll always be my best friend. No matter what. You mean so much to me, Emily, and I often find myself wondering what I'd do with you. I've come to the conclusion that I'd most likely go nuts. You're always there for me whenever I'm upset or annoyed about something or just whenever I need someone to talk to, and that means the world. Through the years, we've been such great friends...but I don't think I ever expected to end up where we are; that was only a dream of mine. But here we are, two months later and going strong, and all we have ahead of us is one great big mysterious adventure. Let's make it as best we can.
