History: The cliché of how the two met is boring—same House, same year—so we’ll skip over that and get straight to the best friend status. It really was only a matter of time before the two girls were spending time together up in their dorm, then sitting by each other during meals and ganging up for class projects. Their forced company became leisurely, aiming to play a few harmless pranks on others or go explore the castle together. Their conversations were always loaded with gossip and boy chat. It was second year that Joe finally decided to enlighten Alessa of her small, furry secret. She believed she could trust her friend, and, as it turned out, the secrets shared that day are still firmly locked between sealed lips. Since then, both girls have made use of Joe’s talent for mischief. Then, between their third and fourth year, the tragedy of Joe’s father’s passing brought the two friends’ relationship to a more personal level. Alessa’s hugs and silent comfort helped to get Joe through the tough year. Many other highs and lows have affected their relationship up to their sixth Year, but they’ve remained close. If there’s something exciting going on at Hogwarts, you know you’ll be able to find the DeLions there.

History: Aidan and Alessa go way back; their friendship began at the age of seven. They spent their entire childhood together—Aidan would walk over or ride his bike to the De Luca house with his little sister Fiona and spend time with Alessa. They thought they would be separated over the school year when they told each other they were going to “boarding school,” so they had a tearful goodbye the night before September the first. It wasn’t until the Sorting ceremony that they realized they were both magical and would be spending the next seven years together at Hogwarts. In their fourth year, they began dating, and since then, they’ve had a relationship full of ups and downs. Aidan cares a lot for her, and even when he’s mad or annoyed or disappointed with her, he’ll always need her in his life whether he likes it or not.

History: Fiona has known Alessa almost as long as Aidan has known her. She was about five years old when they first met, and, needless to say, Fiona was bowled over by this beautiful girl who lived in this beautiful house. At first, she wasn't sure how to react around her, but it wasn't long before the two were pretty close. In all honesty, she looked up to the older girl—she had never had a sister, and Alessa seemed to be a good replacement. And then, when her mother died, Alessa took on the girly part of the mother-daughter relationship, taking her shopping and the like, and for that Fi will always be grateful. Now, after almost nine years of being friends, Fiona can honestly say that Alessa is like the big sister she never had.

History: Tori, at first, was not pleased when she realized Alessandra was a Gryffindor. It was a day in her first year that Tori complimented Alessa on her shirt, but once Tori realized Alessa was a Gryffindor in the middle of their conversation, she fled the scene, claiming she had to 'go to the bathroom.' She couldn't be seen talking to a Gryffindor, for Christ's sake! But after about a week, Tori gave in and finally talked to her again, and eventually got over the fact that one of her best friends was a Gryffindor. What Tori doesn't tell the Trinity girls, she tells Alessa. They're best friends, and Tori wouldn't trade the world for that.

History: One would think that being in the same dorm for over five years would make two girls get to know each other very well. This really isn't the case for Alessandra and Wendy, since most of the time, Wendy really isn't bothered to remember Alessa's name. It's not that Wendy doesn't like her; when they're around each other, Wendy is quite friendly and warm toward her. But she never found a real reason to like Alessa, and she really doesn't bother reminding herself who she is half the time. It doesn't help that Wendy shamelessly flirts with Aidan... Eh, Wendy doesn't care too much what Alessa thinks of her. She doesn't really know her too well, or bother herself with wondering whether or not Alessa likes her. People think what they think, and Alessa's opinion really doesn't matter to Wendy as much as it probably could.

History: Skye enjoys Alessa's personality, to say the least. There is just something about her that screams potential, and Skye tends to gravitate toward people of that stature. Of course, they aren't close and Skye loves to pick on Alessa as much as possible, the occasional bet and barter. Nothing is too serious in Skye's opinion. But then again, it never really is. Tori is obviously cool with Alessa, and Kiki is obviously not, so Skye chooses not to choose. It is sort of in the Trinity contract, you know? If it's split, there will be no picking sides. End of story. So, whether Skye is pro or con on Alessa will remain passive until further notice.

History: Imogen and Alessa don't really know each other too well. Were it not for their relationships with Aidan, they probably wouldn't know each other. It's nothing personal. Imogen just doesn't make friends with girls as easily as she does with guys. Plus, she has to admit that she's a bit intimidated by Alessa's looks. Her opinion is that Alessa is a nice girl, and they get along—she doesn't have problems with Alessa and doesn't think Alessa has problems with her. Imogen's fine with where they are in their kinda-friendship. She doesn't feel a need to force something if they're both content, and since she and Alessa are on good terms, there's no need to change it.

History: Kiki Valentine was never really a fan of Alessa. She didn't hate her or anything, but ever since Tori and Alessa became such close friends, Kiki has always held some type of grudge against her. Kiki isn't flat out mean to Alessa, but there are some instances when Kiki can be pretty obvious about her dislike for the girl. On the surface, Kiki and Alessa are decent friends, and Kiki doesn't mind being around her. But, underneath Kiki's smile, there's something else. Jealousy. Alessa's boyfriend is gorgeous, too, and Kiki can never fully like a girl with a hotter boyfriend than hers.

History: Milo and Alessa met shortly after he met Aidan. Tongue-tied, Milo introduced himself as “Mmmlilolo.” Since then, he's been lovingly dubbed “Lolo” by Alessa—though she's the only one allowed to call him that. Admittedly, Milo had a tiny bit of a crush on her. After all, she was a pretty girl who was nice to him, who treated him nicely. The crush was short-lived, of course. But Alessa remains important to Milo as a friend. She's easy to talk to, now that his tongue has untwisted itself, and he values her friendship dearly. And, not that he'd ever admit this to anyone, but sometimes he thinks Aidan's a great big dolt for letting her go again and again.
