Brielle Elisabeth S N O W !
When one hears that lovely name, what does one think? Does one replay the dramatic scene in which the owner of that name was engaged in an incredibly intense scenario involving a certain Wes Carrington, the forbidden object of her affections? Or, perhaps, one sinks into a reverie involving the owner of this name and her seemingly adorable and perhaps not-just-best-friend Arthur McCally? The heartwarming scene where she meets the charming Quidditch Match Commentator’s family? Or the gut-wrenching, frighteningly realistic instance where she slumped, bloodied and broken, onto the floor with only Lucy Murphy to put her back together? Honestly, when one thinks of the name Brielle Elisabeth Snow, all these images should flood one’s mind simultaneously: at least, they do for me. (: When I first saw Bri my immediate reaction was ‘Oh my gosh I love her name!’ and I’m sure I’m not alone in that sentiment. It’s important to name a character something perfect, something beautiful, something that resonates with that character’s soul so deeply that it’s impossible to sever the name from the character. Jessica Lisbeth has executed this perfectly with this character. And that? That is just one amazing facet of the many that make up the character of Brielle Elisabeth Snow. Another, for instance: when has any member logged on and NOT seen Brielle’s name listed in the active users for the past twenty four hours? And when has any member perused the new posts without seeing at least one thread in which Brielle is involved? The answer? Never. No one has ever logged on once without seeing both of those things, and I can guarantee that no one has ever been able to see a new post of hers and ignore it. Because Bri happens to be one of the most developed, in-depth, and fascinating characters on this site and no one would want to miss out on a chance of seeing her character developing even further in some new, fantastic thread. Brielle’s posts are in-depth, detailed, and reflect the values integral to her character, never leaving one with questions at the end. This Hufflepuff girlie sure is quite exciting, too! I mean, look at her intricate system of relationships with about a dozen of the other characters on the site! House boundaries are crossed with the darkly handsome Wes Carrington, House friends are turned almost-lovers with the kindly and supportive Arthur McCally, bonds are strengthened through the hardships that Bri’s relationship with Wes bring and she learns the value of her true friends. Oh, but there’s more! She’s also a prefect, also has a wonderfully descriptive thread tracker, also has a cute character log, also has an insightful diary, anddddddddd just before you think ‘well hot damn, could it POSSIBLY get any better?’ she also has an adorable little photo album. And btw, who DOESN’T get all sappy and smiley when he or she looks at Brielle’s signature?! So. Cute.
So, Miss Jessica Lisbeth, it is high time you get recognized for your amazing work. Thank you for being part of this site, and thank you still for bringing Brielle, this month’s Best Female Character, into the world of ISS. <3
