Rabastan Lestrange. I bet a bunch of plotlines just sprung to all your heads with that one name, because really, this boy has got himself involved in everything. Izzy does an amazing job with him, managing his kickass attitude better than I could see anyone else doing. Rab can be terrifying, hilarious or downright adorable – when he’s with Khai Statton, that is – and she does a fantastic job transitioning through all these things with him so that it doesn’t matter how he’s acting, he’s still Rab. Everything that he does always makes sense, is always in-character, even when it’s so out there that you never would have imagined him doing it and that is the mark of someone who knows their character really well. Which Izzy does, insanely so. I mean, she has conversations with the guy. Although hey, it really must work because he’s landed himself in the spot of Slytherin’s Favorite Boy.
