Marlene McKinnon. Skarletta definitely struck gold with this one. Marlene is shallow, superficial, and silly but she also has so much depth that she’s not in danger of becoming a cliché anytime soon. All of Skar’s posts with her are always so fabulously real, you feel as if you really know Marlene after reading any of them. Plus, she’s gotten herself involved in one of the biggest dramas on the site – and I mean, really, canon or not, who didn’t love her and James? She’s got the perfect amount of classiness that sets her a cut above everyone else, no more how many boys she may get together with (; Skar’s taken a minor canon and done an amazing job bringing this fantastic personality to her – adding a whole new dimension to Marls that will never be changed in my mind. Simply put, Marlene McKinnon is mind-blowingly real, never as predictable as you might think and an overall amazing character. So it should be no surprise that she’s Gryffindor’s Favorite Girl.
