Tough choices and the inability to make them sums me up well enough. And I think I'd like that very much... Arranged flying time, I mean. I won't lie though, it's been about 2 months since I've been on a broom for longer than 5 minutes, everything is fairly close by where I live.

p.s. Which girls? The burly ones?

Hmm, well at least you've still got a few years to figure that out. Excellent I'll have to go to my room and get my broom of course, but we can meet at the pitch. Now if we could just figure out a way to make class go by faster. Two months without just going for a 30 minute flight just because? Well as long as you still remember how to ride a broom I suppose we're safe

ps yes...the least they could have done was shaved everyday -shivers-

Not all burly girls are beasts! But I did get a good laugh at that image. You should be careful writing things like that, I might get caught and then we'd both have to pay attention!
As for forgetting... Well, I don't. At least, not often and not something that take so much effort to learn. I'm not worried, but I will ask that you not laugh at me and my meager broom-flying abilities.
Is it just me, or is this class taking longer than usual?

Well I'll give you that, but the vast majority of the ones I've seen certainly are.
I'll do my best, but you may have to deal with a few short, but witty comments that reference you're abilities.
It does seem to be particularly slow today, perhaps because this is the first time I've payed attention to anything at all in this class. I have my genetics to thank for the fact I'm not failing anything.

No wonder you're bored in class. What kind of challenge do you possibly get out of any of it if knowledge comes so naturally? Aren't Ravenclaws supposed to love to learn?
Oh, and I'll take your witty comments, but be warned... I might surprise you.

Careful about stereotypes, they'll let you down most of the time. In truth though I do love to learn, or at least I did. After 7 years of the same classes there's really not much left to learn, especially considering I was reading 4th year text books mid way through my first year.
Consider me warned. And just so you know, I love surprises.

I was speaking from experience, actually, although I'm no stranger to stereotyping. Being stereotypically brainy doesn't strike me as something so bad, though. That probably helped you choose your career path so quickly, I'll bet. Being analytical and all. And why would you even want to read 4th year text books so early? I could barely get through them last year let alone try and crack open one of mine from this year.
Errin
p.s. I also love surprises! Go figure!

I can certainly agree That there are far worse things to be stereotyped as. And actually my analytical side was telling me I was crazy to think I could make a living playing quidditch. Now that it looks like it's going to happen though my analytical side is quite unhappy and is telling me I better apply for a job in the department of magical games and sports when my career is over.
Well they weren't very interesting and I supposed I mostly skimmed the text books, but there were a few non required books that check out of the library that dealt with the same subject matter. Plus I've always been a faster learner.
-Ludo
PS well at least we have one thing in common

There's nothing wrong with sensibility, but wouldn't life be that much more bland? I don't enjoy being analytical, but sometimes it happens by accident. Actually, it happens by accident a lot.
Well, it looks like we're almost out of here. I think I can see some light at the end of that tunnel somewhere.
Errin
p.s. That might explain why you haven't gotten bored with our correspondence yet. You know, less than more in common.

Well I like to think my analytical side keeps me in check. A sort of follow your heart, just make sure you have a back up plan sort of thing
It's about bloody time. So shall we say 15 minutes after the bell, we meet at the pitch? Don't want you standing me up, now.
-Ludo
P.S. You've got a point. it's nice to find things in common, but its the differences that make a conversation fun.

But it's the risk that you take without back up that is the most exciting. Not saying that it doesn't hurt to have one, but it's not the same kind of adventure if you do. Or it doesn't seem that way, at least. Less thrill. More inevitability, possibly?
15 sounds grand. And here I was... Thinking that flying ought to be done sitting down.

Well I suppose that's why it's my analytical side. For that part of me fun is making sure I have something to fall back on, for the other side of me having fun is what's fun. And I suppose it does take away some thrill but it allows both parts of me to have fun rather than just one, so really it balances.Har, har, good to see you've got a sense of humor. It makes for good witty banter. 15 minutes it is...don't sit me down.

Both parts of you, hm?
Well maybe we have more in common than the surprise.
I think I would like to try standing upright, actually. On a broom. Wouldn't that be risky business?

Risky, but certainly possible. I can show you if you'd like. I learned to do it a while ago, it's still risky each time and I never seem to get to far as you cad pretty much only go in a straight line, but still impressive to watch.
