Facial Properties:{1+ paragraphs}
Regulus's most outstanding quality is his eyes. They are a sharp and piercing green, tough they will appear blue and even sometimes gray under certain lighting. The rest of his facial features are...at least in his eyes average.

He has a strong jaw line. He finds flaws everywhere else fearing that his lips, ears and nose may be just a bit too big for his thin face. Additionally His eyes are a bit sunk in and he has thick eyebrows. And his nose is curved up just a bit.

Regulus appears skinny at first especially in his baggy school robes. Upon closer observation however you can make out the toned body and arms he has gained from years of quidditch (his brother still being his favorite person to play with). He stands a few inches shorter than his brother, which of course is to be expected as he is younger, but even into adult hood he will remain shorter in stature as well as reputation than Sirius.

Regulus is working to slowly gain muscle and give himself a more intimidating presence under the logic that no one would fear a scrawny death eater. He has scars on his right knee and left arm from the first time he fell from his broom. He also has 7 small freckles distributed randomly on each arm which he considers his symbols of good luck.

Regulus, unlike his brother, is very much his parents son. Rather than reject the family blood line as Sirius has Regulus has embraced it. He loves being a pure blood and considers the Black name, as much of his family does, a means to declare himself wizard royalty. He is arrogant and cunning, with a fierce determined will.

Though he shares much of his Family line, Regulus is not quite as heartless as some of his relatives. This is perhaps most evident in his compassion for the families house elf, Kreacher. He has never mistreated Kreacher when he can help it and genuinely cares for the elf, and he would like to think the feeling is mutual.

He also differs slightly from family tradition as he does not believe so strongly in opposition to mud-bloods. He feels that a wizard is a wizard, but the muggles are worthless and would be better off ruled by the wizards. Just because he does not believe in their persecution however does not mean that he sees them as equal. A wizard is a wizard, but a Black is Royalty and should be treated as such.

Regulus's being is deeply seeded in his emotions and is a very passionate person. He is more than willing to throw down his own life for any cause he deems worthy. Despite his arrogance his is chivalrous at heart and greatly admires the knights who once observed the code. In addition he, like the knights, seeks great gain and personal glory. He set his heart early on becoming a servant to the dark lord: a modern knight in his view.

It is perhaps this that skews Regulus's perception of reality. He is immature and idealistic as he tries to play life as it is a game, living as if according to some unseen movie script. He sees himself as almost invincible. Not invincible in the sense that he cannot die, for he is not fool enough to doubt his mortality, but in the sense that he feels he will not die until he must when he will go out in a blaze of glory: one last noble act that will bring about his death.

Lying is not on of Regulus' favorite things to do, but he will stretch the truth whenever and however much is necessary. He is excellent at deception and double crossing to get his way. He has a fiery temper especially if anyone disrespects his, or anyone he cares about.

Though Regulus is generally considered to be less handsome than his older brother he was gifted with the same haughty smile and Black Family charm. He is quite charming when he wants to be and always aims to sweep a girl off her feet and fulfill their wishes. He flirts shamelessly when he finds a girl attractive...whether she currently has a boyfriend or not.

History:{4+ paragraphs}
Regulus Arcturus Black is the second born son of Orion and Walburga Black. Unlike their first son Sirius, Regulus was quite proud to be born into the 'most noble house of Black.' He learned from his parents there pureblood ancestry as he was taught to despise the weak muggles, though Regulus came more to pity them for being for their weakness rather than despise it like most did.

Because he took after them he was favored best by his parents, which he came to resent at times. He even felt as though he had no choice. He liked pleasing his parents especially when Sirius went out of his way to displease them. It was Sirius who Regulus wished to have been closer with. His brother resented the fact that Regulus followed tradition and put the two boys at odds often.

It would be his cousins Narcissa and Bellatrix that would grow closer to him as Sirius grew further, especially once Sirius was put in Gryffindor with James Potter. Cissy and Bella had a another Sister Andromeda who Regulus never had a problem with, but grew closer to her sisters as like Sirius Andromeda was sorted outside of the traditional family house of Slytherin.

Hogwarts was the one place where Regulus always seemed out shined by his older brother. At home he was always favored, but at Hogwarts Sirius took the spotlight. Still, despite his brother's shadow Hogwarts became a second home to him one which even he began to prefer after Sirius was kicked out of the Families home at Grimmauld Place. Without Sirius to distract them Orien and Walburga's expectations of there youngest son increased, and Regulus was determined to meet and even exceed this expectations.

People let you down, always. There are no exceptions especially when you build them up the way Brett did. You put people on this pedestal of perfection, and try to match it, but no one, least of all himself could stay up for long before crashing back to the ground. Brett had stopped in his tracks, even now Lily had that power over him and he couldn't deny it.

"I'm not sure what to say here Lils," he admitted turning back to face her his voice soft and flowing easily as he poured over his thoughts searching for words. "I think you of all people should understand why I can't be with you right now. I still love you Lily, but I just wanted to feel happy again. I know I should have gone looking for you and I'm sorry.

"You just left so abruptly I was afraid you didn't want to see me. I thought you needed time to think at first and after the first month I convinced myself that you had moved on. I know it was stupid, I do, but I was so sick of being sad all the time," Brett said explaining calmly some details he had probably missed when he had his temper flaring earlier.

"I just wanted to be happy and along came Eirena with her cute little smile and she kissed me and I kissed her back and I felt that happiness I had been craving, it was the happiest I'd been since you left and I didn't want to lose that. I'm sorry I hurt you, but please don't make me hurt her because I made a mistake," Brett said softly explaining. His mistake was doubting Lily would come back his mistake had been falling for another girl.

Eirena had been one of the few who could make him forget the pain Lily's departure left and she was the only one he became involved with romantically. A relationship which had started as a way to keep his mind off Lily had become so much stronger in such a short time. He didn't want to hurt Eirena like he had hurt Lily.
