About the Character- -
Name: Brayley Natalia Harrison Age: 16 Gender: Female Year: Sixth Face Claim: Leighton Meester
Canon or Original? Original
Facial Properties:
Brayley has long, brunette locks that flow generously past her shoulder. Mostly, she wears her hair down and curled to keep it as natural as possible. She has thin, brown eyebrows that arch slightly over her eyelid s. Bray likes to keep her eyebrows plucked and perfectly aligned. Her eyes are dark brown, with hints of light brown splotched around her iris'. Brayley has naturally long, thick eyelashes. Below her eye area resides her long, skinny nose. Her nose slightly crooks in in the middle of itself, and rounds out at the bottom. She has a high jaw-line and absolutely rosy cheeks that were naturally given to her from her mother. Her lips are light pink, and almost always glossed to provide extra sheen. Her chin is round, and slightly stuck out from the rest of her features. Her skin is slightly tan, but smooth and natural.
Physique:
Brayley has a slender form, bearing small, bony shoulders. She has long, skinny arms that contain a small amount of hair on them. Her wrists are abnormally skinny, with long, skinny fingers elongated from them. The lines in her hands are barely visible as they blend with the coloring of her skin. She has a thin stomach, and her belly-button indents ever so slightly. Brayley's thighs are very soft, and her legs are fairly long. Her ankles are puny and her feet are extremely bony, though her toenails are always painted a very pretty color. Overall, the girl appears lanky and almost weightless. However, Brayley has a very feminine look about her, and is always dressed appropriately (well mostly).
Personality:
Above all, Brayley is strong. She's confident in herself, and her abilities. She's fearless, (to a fault, but she'll never admit this,) and actually quite intimidating if one happens to be one her bad side. She believes firmly in justice and usually attempts to take it into her own hands. When she feels wronged she'll go vigilante style before she rats on someone. (Snitches lie in ditches is her motto). And though I wouldn't suggest ever incurring her wrath, Bray is usually just happy-go-lucky and looking for a good laugh. She's always trying to find adventure, because she gets bored with the every day school nonsense and she does this by terrorizing the so-called authority figures of the school. If the banisters start snapping at people's hands, it was probably Brayley. Or when the doorknobs are too slicked up with grease to turn, you could put your money on Bray being behind it.
She is intelligent, but you wouldn't hear any of her teachers raving about her because in class, Brayley is not a star pupil. She doesn't really care for her classes. They bore her, and thus don't keep her attention. But the uses she puts her mind and magic to outside of academia could only be described as brilliantly devious. If she has the motivation, Brayley can be just as smart as the valedictorians. She knows how to find out what she wants to know, and can occasionally be seen in the library looking things up, but its never for any of her classes. She just sees no use in working for a letter. Her dream is to work in a joke shop, which that doesn't require a phenomenal GPA. Brayley does have an affinity for charms though. She doesn't have to really put much effort into that class to get good marks. What really prevents Bray from failing out of all her classes is her ability to due her work. She has phenomenal reflexes, and particularly in DADA and the dueling seminars, she excels because she can react quickly. Her instincts are often better than when she prepares for something and over analyzes it. Dueling in general is something Brayley is good at because the hexes and counterattacks are interesting to her, so she learns them.
Brayley puts up a tough facade to hide her insecurity. Honestly, she has always been scared to show her true feelings- including toward boys. She has always believed that showing her real feelings was a weakness, and that it wasn't good to fit in with the 'pansy' look that is inherited by girls. She doesn't look butch or even act that way, but she is a very emotionally tough person. It takes a lot of effort to get Brayley to crack a few tears, at least, in public. The time that Bray gets to herself is the time that she takes to recover and breathe, without being flooded with embarrassment. However, Brayley isn't afraid to be in the spotlight, and is hardly ever embarrassed. Being somewhat of a jokester, most think (especially professors) that she only does it to have attention. That is something that Brayley always disregards, seeing as though attention is one thing that Brayley does not want.
Though she doesn't mind having friends and company, being alone and enjoying the simpler things in life is something that Bray likes. Brayley loves nature, and enjoys sketching the things around her in a new way. Brayley Harrison is outspoken and defends her morals without hesitation. Though she doesn't like to offend others, she doesn't seem to look at others' perspective on things. She's one of those girls who thinks that she is right on everything, but doesn't like to be arrogant and parade it around. Her complex personality is something that has grabbed people's attention upon the first few times of meeting her, and has actually lost her a few friendships. Brayley is kind and loyal as a friend, but also stands her ground and doesn't trust easily. She can be very sly and seductive, though her goofy side shines through almost immediately. Brayley is one tough cookie to crack, and only few have succeeded the task.

History:
Brayley was born to two very well-known, very rich pure-blooded individuals: Nathan and Henrietta Harrison. The night she was born was the night that pleased both of her parents so much that they decided Brayley would be an only child. Nathan and Henrietta had a grand reputation within the dark community, and they believed that their daughter would serve under the dark arts lifestyle as well. As Brayley grew up, the two didn't see how it could be possible that they had gave birth to such a little girl. Brayley was constantly laughing, making jokes, and enjoying life as it came. She hardly ever slept, and had such content in her eyes that it made her parents sour. They had wanted a dark, little girl who would make them proud in the dark arts- but they had gotten exactly the opposite.
Brayley grew up in the household, but was never really welcomed. Among the rest of her family, she was known as the impure pure-blood. Because of her, Nathan and Henrietta were never invited to family functions that were so popular. When Brayley turned eleven and was sent off to Hogwarts, her parents were absolutely relieved. They thought maybe as she grew accustomed to those around her, she could grow into the idea of being a dark witch and be sorted into Slytherin. The dream of her parents was crushed as she was, in fact, not sorted into the house they so greedily yearned for. After the first letter back home, Brayley didn't write again. She never received any owls from her parents the first year of her attendance at Hogwarts, and when she returned home that summer, she returned to a slam in the face and her trunk of the rest of her belongings on the stoop.
Brayley found comfort and shelter in a friend's home; her friend's parents had been so kind to let her stay. For the rest of her stay at her friend's, Brayley was invited everywhere that involved family outings, and she was loved. For once in her life, the girl felt like she had a home and wasn't a visitor. Bray had been brought up among the dark and filthy-rich, and so she had obtained a few traits that weren't exactly looked upon by her fellow mates at the school. She had a sly side, a side that enabled her to sneak out of the common rooms past curfew and visit places like the kitchen, or the lake. These visits led to her frequent detentions, and inattentiveness in class. She was always a brilliant young girl, though she never believed in herself. Brayley didn't want to be kept up in a classroom all day while a world out there awaited her presence.
The girl always wanted to be outside, or wandering the castle producing jokes. Bray was annoyed with being stuck behind a desk, reading from a book. Though she hated those things, she was always brilliantly intelligent and had the reflexes of a tiger. The things she could do with a wand, her professors always said about her. Though she was amazing with performing charms, she aggravated the professors to the point where they hated giving her detention. Brayley didn't like toi be annoying, she just daydreamed her heart away. These traits were probably why she decided to take up Quidditch in her fourth year of school. Brayley always loved the feelings of the wind in her hair, and being up in the air where she could forget about class and just enjoy herself. Brayley had always been a big believer of enjoying life to its fullest, even when she felt like she didn't have a life at all. Brayley is a very optimistic young woman, and always had been.
Sample Post:
Waking from her sleep, Brayley ruffled her hair with her hands and flipped it back, biting her lip. She sighed and blinked back sleepies from her eyes, then rubbed her eyes and sat up. From her bunk, she took note that all the other girls of her house slept soundlessly. She smirked under her breath, making hardly any noise as air flew from her nostril, and she rose. Tip-toeing across the room, she grabbed a gray jacket and put it on, zipping it over her teal and dark blue separate tank tops that she had worn to bed. She let her baggy sweatpants fall to her feet, and she kicked them off to land on her comforter. She searched through her trunk rather loudly, not caring about the others. Brayley found a pair of skinny, black jeans and she put them on.
With a loud zip, she went to the mirror and played her hair out to where it sat how she liked, then she went and sat on her bunk once again. Managing to go through her make-up back quickly, she applied a bit of mascara and lipgloss, then threw the bag down and fled from the dreadfully gloomy dormitory. Bray walked fast through the main common room, ignoring the crackling of the fire that stayed lit during the night. Her deep, warm eyes caught a glimpse of the clock as she left into the dungeons- it read 6:00 am.
Brayley traveled through the dungeons and up a flight of stairs. No one was awake...but why would they be? It was a Saturday morning and anyone with sense would sleep in. Sighing, she escaped out the doors of the castle and out into the grounds. The dim sunrise danced on her cheekbones as she walked across the dew-dusted lawns. Making her way across the grounds with her arms across her chest, she found herself at the Quidditch Pitch. A smile grimaced her lips, then faded and she walked up the bleachers. Her eyes scanned the field, though she was almost certain no one else would be out there that early. Unless, of course, they were nuts like her. Sighing, she leaned back against the bench behind her and let her arms fall into her lap as she awaited some source of entertainment.

Lovely bio, just a reminder though that she's no necessarily on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, I believe that it's actually full. But you can definitely say that she joined in fourth year, she just might not be able to be on it now, you'd have to apply if there's room.
