About the Character- -
Name: Yvette Fay Lotus Age: Fifteen. Gender: Female Year: Fifth year. Face Claim: Hayley Williams.
Canon or Original? Original.
Facial Properties: Who knows what Hayley's hair color is. It has been dyed so many times. Her natural hair color is a really deep chocolate color, but now it's a bright orange color with a hint of sunshine yellow. She has bangs which fall past her eyes and sweep to the side. Her hair is in sections; a bottom layer, a top layer (where most of the hair is), the top of the bangs, and the tips and bottom of the bangs. Yvette's eyes are a deep hazel color, simply mesmerizing. Also, her eyebrows are quite arched. Yvette has a slight gap in her teeth, yet they are clean and white.
Physique: Though Yvette may have close to flawless skin, her all around body shape could use some work. Yvette does not have extreemly curvy curves, infact, her curves could use a little bit of work. She is currently 5'1 in height and Hayley weighs in at 110 lbs.
If you look near Yvette's lower back, you may find her tattoo that she loves so much. It is of a lotus flower, silver and indigo in color. The tattoo is a fair size. According to Yvette, you have to have some body piercings, and in this case, Yvette went far more than overboard. You will find piercing's in her left ear cartilage, ear lobes, on her tongue, and who can forget the two lip piercing's in the both sides of her lips?
How Yvette dresses often reflects on when, where she is going that paticular day. If it's just a friends house in the afternoon, Yvette would just slip on a band shirt and jeans and head off. But if it's a night club, she does shock a numerous about of people. The clothes she wears out are the usual type of party clothes girl would wear, yet they're always in dark or neon colours.
Personality: Yvette meets life head on and throws herself into new experiences with zest and enthusiasm. She is direct, straightforward, assertive, and usually completely aboveboard in all her dealings. Candid and incapable of guile, insincerity or phoniness, Yvette projects a confident and sometimes arrogant façade to others. Yvette is self-reliant and does not depend upon social approval and reinforcement as much as other people do. She likes to be original and does not mind doing it alone. Yvette sometimes feels that she does not fit into groups very well and that she does not naturally blend in and cooperate with others.
Yvette is a doer and thrives on freedom, challenge, and activity. When inspired by an idea, she feels such a sense of urgency and excitement about it that she will often forge ahead and try to implement it in a rather bold but poorly planned and crudely executed way. Patience and careful attention to details are not Yvette's forte. However, she never accepts defeat and will experience brilliant and unprecedented successes and discoveries, as well as painful failures. To Yvette it is far better to make mistakes than to play it safe and never try.
Yvette is scornful of what she sees as weakness or passivity in others and also of the human tendency to imitate and follow. Yvette is not a follower. Others see her as a strong individual and perhaps brash and brazen as well. Yvette presents a strong front to the world and generally does not allow others to see her vulnerable or insecure side.
Yveet has an appealing physical appearance, which - along with her winning ways - is likely to make her a favorite in her immediate environment. Yvette is the "easy" one, and she knows how to please others. However, Yvette must not take her personal charm for granted, because she may also come across as vain or too needy for approval.
There is a certain depth and intensity about Yvette that may be threatening to others. No matter how gentle or unassuming Yvette may be on the surface, she is also a force to be reckoned with. She has causes, passions or desires that drive her and when one of these is aroused, Yvette is quite zealous in her pursuit or defense of it.
Likes: + Music. Any form, shape, or size. She usually goes for rock music. Singing to the music and/or her own songs. + Photography. She loves having her picture taken. + Partying and concerts. When at concerts and/or partys she can't help but yell "You rock!" whenever it's quiet. + Prank calling on the muggle phones. And any other form of pranking. + Wolves and panthers. Oh, and snakes! + Guys that are sentitive to her feelings and won't tell her she's sexy. A guy that would go to his friends "Yeah, that's her". + The Orphanage's sunday dinners. Cheese and wine, chocolate, and Liquorice Wands. Butterbeer and hot chocolate. + Getting told off. Hearing professors say "Detention!". + Reading and writing. Listening to people tell stories. + Charms,Potions, and Care of Magical Creatures. + Unique people. People with odd qualities. + The smell of new books. The Library. + Sports. Football and Quidditch. Dislikes: – Everyone and/or thing to do with the Dark Arts. – Herbology, and History of Magic. – Clones (People who are all the same). – Judgemental and self-centred people. – Pink. She finds it irritating and a distraction. – Bruises, scars, and any form of pointless fighting. – Guys who think they can string a girl along - Vice versa. – Going to sleep at night when that's a great time for an adventure and/or to make mischeif. – Doxies, toads, and rats. – Quitters. People who never finish what they've begun.
History: Yvette doesn't know where she was born, yet it is most likely she was born in the orphange she was placed in on the 18th of October. She never knew her parents, at all, and felt they had dumped her in the orphanage on purpose. Of course this was stupid. The orphanage was somewhere in London and the orphanage workers rarely took the orphans outside, unless it was in the back garden or the monthly beach visits. Yvette wasn't exactly liked in the orphanae and when Yvette was eight, she had begged the orphanage workers to let her try out some sports to get away from the nasty orphans and gloomy rooms of the orphanage. Yvette succeeded and waited until she was nine to learn to swim, surf, and skateboard. She then learnt other sports such as football, cricket, baseball, basketball and skuber-diving between the ages of eleven and thirteen. When Yvette turned fourteen, she lost her best friend, yet found two others; Kazan, her snake, and Charlie Hill, her guy best friend.
One day, the orphans and some of the workers went to the beach for the orphanage's monthly beach visit. Yvette went exploring in a cave, and was pushed against a wall by a man, who bit her neck. Yvette was saved by Charlie who pulled the man away who disappeared. The next few hours after the incedent, they were back at the orphanage and a man came and told Yvette she was a vampire witch and had missed three years of magical education - school's mistake, apparently. This man took Yvette to Diagon Alley and bought her her school supplies; A snowy owl named Venus, a 10" elder wand with vampire fang core, and the other usual school supplies.
Yvette soon went to Hogwarts and was introduced after the First Years in the Welcoming Feast where she was sorted into Gryffindor. Yvette made more friends than she did in the orphanage. She told Charlie about her being a vampire witch, and he freaked. The two are no longer friends, but they are on speaking terms.
Sample Post: (Half of one of my Harry Potter fan fictions...)
Caitlin Hurst was the kind of person who never judged someone until she had a reason too. She couldn’t look at a person and assume they were smart or stupid, pretty or ugly, or even good or evil. It just wasn’t who she was. For that reason, she never let her guard down around anyone until she knew them well enough for them to be friends. She wasn’t the type of person to believe what others told her, until she found out for herself. And finding out for herself usually landed her in tight situations.
Now taking all of these things into consideration, it didn’t mean she was naive or blind. She did know right from wrong and she knew to trust her first instincts. Her only fault was that her curiosity often got the better of her.
Another thing about Caitlin was that, unlike most girls her age, she already knew who she was and where she was going. She knew she wasn’t ‘perfect’, one reason being that she didn’t believe in perfection. And when it came to Caitlin and believing in something, she had to find out for herself.
Needless to say, she hadn’t found ‘perfect’ yet.
Caitlin had grown to love her dark auburn hair, and though it could be a pain at times, didn’t want to change it. She thought her cerulean eyes were the color of an icy blue sea, but held warmth that could match a blazing fire. Caitlin knew she wasn’t the thinnest person ever, and in all honesty she didn’t want to be; her curvy figure and paler-than-pale skin suited her just fine. She was smarter than some, but struggled more than others would think. She was fairly athletic, but would never consider doing anything professionally. And most importantly, she didn’t look for ‘Mr. Right’ or ‘Prince Charming’. Again, she didn’t believe that he even existed.
But there was always one thing Caitlin did believe in, even from a young age.
Magic.
Caitlin came from a pureblood family, so she didn’t know the difference between magic and no magic, unlike a half blood or Muggleborn. Magic had just always been around her. She could remember her crib that was literally suspended in the air and rocked back and forth without the help of another force. She could recall her mother cleaning the kitchen using magic, the dishes scrubbing themselves in the sink and a broom sweeping dust off the floor of its own accord. Caitlin remembered that she would wait by the door to watch her father pop out of nowhere in the front garden on his way home from work. Yes, magic had been as normal as breathing in her home and she never thought differently.
Ever since she had been told about it, Caitlin anticipated the summer that would surely bring her school letter and with it the wonder of Hogwarts. Her parents had told her countless stories of times when they attended the school; it was even where they had first met. They told her of the classes and teachers and all the secrets that the castle held. Her father, being a bit of a history buff himself, spoke to her about the history of the school and its four famous founders. Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Godric Gryffindor, and Salazar Slytherin were some of the most astounding witches and wizards in history. Even Dumbledore, her soon to be headmaster, had a remarkable history. Caitlin had read some of the school’s history books, including Hogwarts: A History, though these could not hold her interest for more than a few minutes and she left her imagination to do the rest.
That was why when her letter came only a few days after her eleventh birthday, she was screaming with glee.

Alright. You need to read the rules. There you can find what is required in the “Other” section. In regards to your PM, those answers can also be found there:
Signing Up- You must sign up as your character's first name (or) your character's first and last name. The exceptions include accounts made before these rules were posted. Immediately after your join, please change your display name to it's proper form.
EXAMPLE1: sally is changed to Sally Stewart. EXAMPLE2: dannytuvuu is changed to Danny Tuvuu.- (Added 03.22.09) Do not create an account using “peter7383” or “girlwhorox” and/or similar usernames. It is strenuous on the staff to try and clean up which username has been changed to model their character’s name if they do not match to begin with. If your account is not properly named, you will be asked to delete and reregister.
- (Added 03.22.09) Please do not create your account unless you can get an application up within the week. Having extra, unused accounts around the site is messy and disorganized. We like to keep a clean site.
NO Mythological Characters- No vampires, no demons, no zombies. You get the drift. All of this should be self-explanatory. If you want to play one of those characters, then join another site. There are specific sites for those type of characters.
And, the three pictures need to be avatars, size 100x100.
Please fix and I’ll be happy to review again. [:
