Slamming the great doors behind her, Adri stomped out to the courtyards and gardens of the school. Her face was screwed up in frustration and anger, and her hands were clenched tightly at her sides as she almost ran out to the Quiddich Pitch. She kicked at the small pieces of gravel that lined the path that she was walking on, she had slowed down after her burst of fury faded away, but her fists were still tight as she wrapped them around herself and crossed her arms.
Who does she think she is? What right does she have to pull this on me?' Adri was still fuming over the six detentions she had been given. This was the first time she actually hadn't earned it, it was that puny rat Dylena. Just the thought of her made Adri want to put her hand through a wall. Delena had made Adri look like such a fool today, and the professor had thrown in the detentions on top of all the embarrassment. It had taken Adri almost an hour to stop looking red. She would get Dylena back, she always did. She would just have to put in some extra work this time...
Still scowling she walked onto the Pitch and flung herself onto the grass, ignoring the fact that it was still a little wet with the dew of the morning. Taking some of her frustration out, she started pulling up clumps and sticking them back in the lawn. She hated making it look bad, but she needed to take it out on something. The Quidditch Pitch was one of the only places that Adri felt at home, something she didn't feel much anymore. The sharp yet soft feel of the grass and the smell of earth surrounding her, along with a whisper of breeze that seemed to hold a secret. Adri didn't love anything more than Quidditch.
Finally leaving the rest of the grass in peace, Adri fell onto her back, looking up at the sky. Sighing heavily, she thought about how miserable she was going to be the next week or so, she knew that her hands would be sore from something. Whether it be lines, or cleaning, or whatever. Somehow she was going to suffer. Peachy. But she didn't want to think about detentions or Dylena anymore. She just wanted to look up at the sky and sit. She hadn't been able to do that for a long time, and it was long overdue. Sometimes Adri liked to just...sit.
