Kalib walked along the grounds, feeling quite content with himself. Nothing could go wrong. His black owl Knight sat perched on his shoulder, glaring at those younger little first years as Kalib did himself. He loved watching them flee, running away to their mothers. Yes, nothing could go wrong. But then Knight transformed, his owl was now Annette, walking beside him and talking animatedly as he looked up ahead. But then Annette turned into Mariella, holding his hand and whispering words in Spanish that he could not understand. He didn’t care. But then his mother was walking towards them, telling them to separate. She was yelling at them for being so close, but her anger vanished and was replaced with Annette again, his mother’s anger now hers. She was yelling at him, and Mariella was swearing at him furiously in words that he still could not understand. Knight was back, swirling ahead and giving off loud screeches. What was going on? Kalib’s confusion rose to anger, he was yelling back-
Kalib woke with a start, now sitting upright in his four-poster bed, the hanging concealing him from his dorm-mates. It was a moment before he realized there was a small layer of sweat covering his face and he wiped it off hastily, convincing himself that he was really awake now and what had just happened meant nothing. From behind his curtains Kalib could tell that it was only in the early hours of morning and judging by the deep breaths breaking the silence, he knew no one was up yet.
He took a few deep breaths, staring down at his tangled sheets wrapped around his lower half. His torso was quite exposed, Kalib never wearing a shirt to sleep – he found it too constrictive. Still, it was when he found him in situations similar to this that he wished he did, as the cool draft in the room was making his skin seem to freeze over.
With an effortless tug, Kalib drew back his hangings and pulled himself out of bed. He wasn’t going back to sleep now. He drew on a button up shirt and – finding himself too lazy to mess with the buttons – didn't bother with closing it up and went about changing into a suitable pair of jeans. Now somewhat presentable, Kalib lugged himself to the door and went downstairs into the Common Room.
The fading green lights shown above, giving the empty room an eerie glow. It seemed to be echoing his mood, his longing to make everything right. His nightmare would become reality if he didn’t do something about it soon. But he knew he wouldn’t. For now the best he could hope for was keeping a safe distance between the two girls.
He sunk into an armchair and with an angry mutter Kalib lit the not burning fire place and watched the flames dance. He stared at the fire, his gaze slowly becoming hazy and glazed over. He was off in his own world now, thinking about things that he could do nothing about.

Hunger. It was often a thing that had driven Mariella from her bed in the middle of the night and sent her sneaking off towards the kitchen. She had a quite surprising appetite, able to eat a lot more than the other girls could. In her first year, she had made the mistake of simply walking to the kitchen and getting caught by Filch. However, in her latter years she had begun to keep a stash of nonperishable foods; candy, baked goods, and even a pack of beef jerky. This was hid skillfully in her trunk as to make it look like she was searching for an outfit when in all truth she was actually searching for a treat. This morning, sadly, it seemed her stash had run a little low her little snack rationing almost gone. Damn, that would mean she'd have to buy more whenever she went to Hogsmeade. However, that didn't faze her much, she had more than enough money to do so. The fact she would have to walk all the way to the kitchen is what plagued her. She really didn't feel like making that stealthy trip from the kitchen back to the dorms, it was a bother. If she ever was going to get back to sleep though, she needed nourishment to fill her growling stomach.
It had taken Mariella a solid forty-five minutes to take all the various corridors and secret entry ways to get to the kitchen but she got there. She was one of those people that really held any emotions, negative or positive, towards House Elves. They were just...there. She still felt she might as well be nice to them so she could get what she wanted, and they could keep their mouths shut. She merely said she was famished and they gave her a plate of various scones, instantly making Mariella's mouth water. She said her thanks and she was off again, a small clean cloth bag of scones in her possession. She didn't want to eat in there, for the sheer fact that someone might peek in on the creatures.
Mariella entered the Common Room smoothly, sighing as she knew she was in the clear. Professor Slughorn was supposed to make sure no students snuck out, but that man was not only gullible but a heavy sleeper. Mariella gave a soft, pleased purr as she began to walk back to her dorm. She could feel her hips begin to shake, something that happened when she was extremely pleased, the loose flared sleeping pants she wore beginning to swish about her legs. She could feel her snug t-shirt slowly beginning to rise up, exposing her toned stomach. She felt no need to pull it down as she continued to the dorms, a natural instinct coming over her as she peeked into the common room. Her eyes widened as she saw that someone was sitting there.
An instant calm seemed to wash over her though as she began to inch a bit closer. She knew who that was, she knew who this young man was. Hm, well Mariella only knew of one person that had that hair color, the one person that she would absolutely adore to be with alone. Kalib! Her eyes shone mischievously, the fire making her eyes in an almost animalistic way. She came up behind, almost silently, examining him curiously as she placed the little bag of goodies she had on a small table. Well...he wasn't asleep, his focused stare on the fire confirming that. But he definitely seemed to be in his own world now...A small smirk graced Mariella's lips. She knew the perfect thing to pull him out of that world. Mariella slowly placed her hand on his shoulder before beginning to slide it down his bare chest, stopping on his abdomen. Her chin gently rested on his shoulder as she gave a soft purr into his ear. "Hola...Kalib", her accent dominated, it thickly covering her worlds as she teased him.

Who on earth was up this early? Surely he was the only person in the whole castle awake? Aside from maybe a few teachers, but really. He didn’t even bothering to glance over. They didn’t matter. Right now, his mind was in over drive and nothing could seemingly distract him from the thoughts engulfing him. Besides, if he did find out who was so rudely sneaking about the castle, he’d end up just yelling at them to vent his anger. Best let them think he was not here, that he hadn’t heard them.
Kalib focused back on his fire, watching the bits swirl round and round. The smoke rose gracefully into the chimney, leaving nothing but the flames. It was funny, watching it – once his idiotic brother had accused him of being a pyro, addicted to the flames. He smirked a little bit, knowing he would never use this “obsession” as it were for evil deeds, but more of an anger release. The fire reminded him much of himself, looking loving from afar but dangerous up close. If you played with fire, you got burnt.
Kalib seemed to counterattack that own thought: Then what’s to say someone can’t be trained with fire? I’ve done it loads of times and never once burnt myself, unless you count early years… Now maneuvering fire was almost a habit, a hobby – it was something he found joy it, like a little fire show. He muttered to the fire, now watching a flaming dragon fly around in the fireplace. People can be trained to play with fire…
His insides went into a fit of butterflies when a hand slide coolly over his chest, her head upon his shoulders now. Before she even spoke he knew who it was, but all the same, her low words sent a chill across his spine. Mariella was, perhaps, the one person who could have pulled him out of such a daze. “Morning,” he grinned, unable to help himself. Somehow his thoughts flushed away, leaving him calm. “What are you doing up, shouldn’t you be getting your beauty sleep?” Kalib smirked, just a little bit. Mariella didn’t really need beauty sleep.

Mariella's eyes had barely caught the sight of the pyro dragon that had been flying around amongst the flames, eyes following it curiously. Well it seemed that he wasn't only trapped in his thoughts but he was also having a little magical show. Mariella was extremely curious of what he was thinking about, his attention so focused on the fire in front of him. He didn't even seem to realize that she was there, either that or he had simply ignored the fact there was another presence there. She seemed to pull him out of the trance he was in, feeling the slight change in demeanor. She lightly nipped his earlobe before placing a light kiss upon his jawline, a soft chuckle spilling from her lips as she could barely see his smile.
"Well,I just came down to get a little snack..."she purred softly, speaking near his ear, her voice a warm breath upon his skin. "But I seemed to got something much sweeter than any food." Of course she was referring to him, wanting him to know how dear he was to her. She nuzzled her cheek against his gently before slowly releasing him and walking in front of him. She had yet to realize she hadn't pulled down her shirt when she had been dancing in her little snack-inspired happiness. Her abdomen was still exposed to him and the cool air, although she didn't mind, during the summer, she did Quidditch training in nothing but a sports bra and a pair of shorts. She smirked as she looked at him, bending down, her lips gently grazing Kalib's.
She took this chance to sit across his lap, her legs moved to the side as she rested her head on his shoulder. Yes, another subtle tease but she did adore being around the boy, it simply made her so happy to be with him. "Heh, but I think the question is what you're doing up and how long have you been sitting here, hm?" Her eyes stared into his before she nuzzled against him lightly, cuddling. This was nice...so very nice.

His concentration on the dragon disappeared, the flaming flyer melting back into the dancing flames. Yes, he was convinced – she was experienced in the art of teasing boys. Clearly she had done it many times before, Kalib almost unable to stop himself from snatching her to pin her against the ground. They were at school, in the Common Room. He had to exert a little bit of self control. Even so, it was very hard, watching her slink around to face him. Kalib knew that it was the fire in himself that was reflecting in his eyes, not his magically made one. Yes, he and the fire…so very similar…
As Mariella slide gracefully onto his lap, he knew he couldn’t stop himself from hugging her back. But no, it wasn’t just a hug…not really…this time, he was touching skin… He curved a hand around her waist, resting it smoothly onto her lower back. Of course, his other hand remained more tame, simply rested upon her shoulder. But still… As her head touched his shoulder, Kalib’s was unable to not touch her. With that hand slipped so carefully under her shirt, not far, but enough, he traced smooth circles with his palm. It was an absentminded movement, a natural gesture. His attention was back on the fire, watching the flames…
“Heh, but I think the question is what you're doing up and how long have you been sitting here, hmm?” Her voice pulled him back, his dragon disappearing again. Did he dare tell her why he was down here so early? But surely, if he didn’t, she would be smart enough to guess? Put two and two together? Really, it wasn’t all that hard to figure out… He sighed, knowing it was best to just speak it. No need for secrets, that’s what always got him in trouble. “I woke up, couldn’t sleep. Not because of hunger mind you,” Kalib added with a smiled, “But more of…lots of things to think about really. I don’t know how I’m going to…well…explain that I…have two girlfriends more or less…” What an uncomfortable discussion. “I guess I just figure that you’re worth it.”

Mariella could see how brightly his eye seemed to gleam, understanding and sharing that fire herself. She had such an animalistic streak in her, something that was like a building fire whenever it happened. To be with him, it was something that simply pumped up that emotion, the emotions that came with this infatuation almost overwhelming her. It was just one of those feeling that would drive down to your very soul and just make you smile a grin and do various things that were not of your nature. Just like Mariella grinning like a fool at the moment, purring as she felt his hand touch her bare skin. So warm...yet cold at the same time. Mariella sighed quite happily as she felt his hand slowly slide up and just under her shirt, the relaxing circles making him cuddle a bit closer.
She didn't look at the fire, not seeing his magnificent skill with the fire forming. No she was still focused on him, watching the fire's light as it casted shadows and lights upon his face. It was so interesting in her eyes, she didn't know why but it was quite attention consuming. Like it was showing not only his good sides but his bad, the light and shadows in his soul. It made her intrigued, although she knew minorly of the good and bad he had, simply knowing that he was more good than bad.
Her head cocked to the side as she smiled, hearing his explanation, and nodding her head. It was almost obvious that he was thinking about that, this situation a unique and painful one. No matter what he did, he would end up hurting on of the two girlfriend's he had. Not to mention himself, the pain that he would go through himself when choosing which girl he wanted and dealing with the pain of breaking a girl's heart. She was feeling just a bit uncomfortable, but she didn't show it, placing a light kiss on her neck, barely shifting from her spot. "Well, don't worry..." she said softly. "I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out..." She looked at him, again flattered by his words. "I'm glad that you think I am...just as I know that you are very worth doing most anything for..." More flattery of course, she simply couldn't help but return the favor. Mariella leaned towards him, her lips gently pressing against his in a comforting manner. Although, the minute that passed made it seem obvious it was going to change from comfort to natural desire.

Why did he let her do this to him, make it near possible to remain behaved? It was so hard, sitting there just holding her. Something about the way her kiss on his neck, on his lips, all of it – so very, faintly familiar. He knew very well where this familiar sense came from and where it had led, but he didn’t dare think about it. He consistently reminded him it was in the past, that it hadn’t been all his fault, she were as much to blame as he. Still, he knew that same love that came from Mariella was close to before, and before…before had been bad…it hadn’t ended nicely…
Yes, something about her kiss made it near impossible…so impossible… His eye lids filtered closed as she kissed him and he kissed her back, pulling her closer to him and loving the way she was no longer just up against his shirt, but his skin. He was lost in the moment; he had lost track of his mind and his “good boy” senses. No, he was giving in and sometimes that could be dangerous. But it felt so completely under his control, he knew what he was doing… Did he really? Maybe not, but the sense that he did…that was all he needed.
His lips had slipped to her neck, lower, along her collar bone. The hand along her back, still madly loving to press against her and pull her closer. He was back at her lips, deeper and deeper… That little fire monster had broken loose and he was having a hard time trying to calm it back into its cage. The thing was roaring in victory and he didn’t want to stop. But he’d found his mind, it was telling him to stop… He tried to pull the monster back in…so hard… He pulled in a breathless amount of air, still so very close to her though separate. So close even, he could see the fire reflecting in her eyes and still make out their color. “You shouldn’t tempt me like that,” he warned quietly even though his lips were curved into a smile. It was a dry threat. What would he do, really, if she wanted to tease him? Act accordingly of course, there was no denying it.
So much like before…

The feel of his skin on the minimal amount of bare skin she had bared made her simply tingle with enjoyment. The contact, it simply added fuel to the fire, making her body feel hot all over. She couldn't hold it back, she was almost in a heat-like case at the moment as their lips held contact. He had this effect on her, to drive her simply mad, to make her feel so delightfully good and to cause such pleasure-filled chills travel through her body. Her arms slowly rose, wrapping around his neck, she taking the initiative to make herself even closer to him. Now she wasn't teasing, she was in the moment, one she hoped wouldn't end anytime soon.
She could hear the soft sighs that followed his trail, a soft pleasured whimper leaving her mouth as she felt his lips on her skin. It felt like his lips were burning her, down to the very depths of her soul, the cartwheels of feeling driving her mad. She went silent as he stopped, panting softly as she looked at him looking at her, biting her bottom lip gently. Indeed the fire burned strong in her soul and he was the fuel. A smirk slowly crossed her lips as she looked at him, mischief now joining the fire.
"Heh, what might happen if I keep doing that, hm?" she asked, eyes glittering now. "If I've started playing with fire, why should I stop now?" She knew he would understand, her eyes showing no obvious signs of stopping. Her hand slipped up, gently stroking his cheek before running under his chin and lifting it up gently. She of course was making the move for another kiss, her eyes narrowing as she watched him. She leaned in, her lips just barely caressing his own, pulling back a mere three centimeters to see if he would fill the space.

“‘What might happen?’” he echoed, raising an eye brow to her question. What a little flirt. Perhaps he should be used to it by now, he should just know, expect these sorts of phrases from her. Even so, she always seemed to surprise him. No one had ever been able to keep up so well, and her comment…she was aware he was fire, eh? Perhaps maybe his own magical fire and deep stares into it had clued her in, or maybe she just simply knew. She could tell? Was it all really that obvious? Well surely, of course it was… What a silly question; he’d been famed for it back home and it seemed no matter how hard he tried, he would always be famed for it.
“Well…” he murmured mischievously, noting her purposely small gap between them. One hand raised to her neck, winding into her hair. He kissed her deeply, muttering “That might happen.” His lips drifted back to her neck, leaving lingering kisses everywhere he could touch, “That might happen.” His hand had slipped lower, back to her semi-exposed hips, her soft pajama bottoms lowered a little, “That might happen.” He was at her lips again, now near French-kissing. “That could happen…” The little monster was unleashed again, roaring in triumph. “Anything could happen…”
It was hopeless, trying to re-cage that little inner beast. It was zooming about faster and faster, urging him to go further, bring her closer, let her soft fingertips explore the firm contours of his chest and allow his lips to kiss every inch of her. It was guiding him, pushing him, and all the while, the small, lost thought of just stop it Kalib remained just that: small and lost. He moaned softly against her neck now, finding himself in that sense of pure bliss. The fiery monster was purring now, calm in his element. Purring softly, drifting…

Yes, she knew of the fire within him, of the strong amount of fire that was just too damned hard to cage. She knew of how close this was to going into a dangerously passionate zone, one that certainly shouldn't occur in the Common room. The question had to be though, did she care of all the wrong that might happen? Mariella was placed in limbo, trying to decide on what she should do. Should she stop as her head told her to, or should she keep going as her soul and body begged her to? She didn't want to back away from this, no, she would never back away from all of this. Mariella would know when to stop him, and when that moment came, she would set the boundary and cease what he was doing. Hopefully the fire would stay away from her mind and just stay in her body and passionate soul.
Mariella smiled as she felt his hand tangle itself in her hair, pressing her closer as she felt him begin to kiss her deeply. She gave another soft round of whimpers as she felt his lips touch her neck over and over again, making her fire roar and rise. She couldn't help her actions, the way she was feeling as his lips were felt in so many places and sparking so many feelings. She looked at him as he pulled up, his soft murmur making her smirk. Although, her face seemed to be tainted a deep crimson as she felt him draw her bottoms a little lower. She seemed a little thrown off as he did that, surprising her a bit but not stopping him in any way. Her mind was minimally pulled off from that thought as she felt his lips on hers, the French-kiss deepened by her before he pulled back with her panting softly. She didn't want to look tripped up, even though it seemed that he had indeed made her stumble. "Well...anything is sounding pretty wonderful about now..."she said softly, looking at him with a smile.
Mariella was almost under the trance of his beast, doing as it wanted her to. Her hands had risen to his chest, her fingertips lightly and oh-so-gently caressing the tone, firm chest, over his stomach to feel the delicious strength in his stomach. Oh, this was heaven, his body was so perfect! She adored it, the toned muscle of his body pressed against her softer, yet still toned physique. She couldn't help the shiver that traveled through her body as he moaned against her neck, eyes shutting tight. This was so wonderful...no, it was so much better than that.

OOC: Ahahahahhahahahaha, I’m so all over that one. This is why I love having imaginary best friends for my characters, for moments like this…mwa ha ha…
The little fire beast was winning over him, but he knew better. Kalib was beginning to be inched closer to the line, that thin, near invisible line that he’d only ever dare cross once before. God, and look where that had put him. But he knew where that line was, that’s why it was embarrassingly evident that Mariella was close to it, because he knew what it felt like. Kalib, you have to stop…you don’t want to her hurt like you did- No, he wouldn’t let his mind stray there. Stop Kalib, stop… The monster roared, backing down his own warnings. But then, quite suddenly, the voice became a reality – and it wasn’t his own.
Someone wolf-whistled and was laughing hard, sputtering out words Kalib only barely caught: “Oh my God Kalib, you dog! Didn’t you just meet her yesterday? And you get on my case!” Yes, someone was certainly having a laugh. “By all means, don’t let me stop you…” Another laugh broke the sentence, “You wanna get a room?” At this point Kalib had found the source of the interrupter and felt anger rise deep within him – the monster was angry.
Zane was over at the start of the dormitory stairs, wearing his flannel PJs with a very pronounce smirk on his face. Kalib was unashamed of being found in such a position, but he didn’t know how Mariella would fair. Still, it was as Zane continue that made him feel his heart sink: “Wait, Kalib! This is the chick from yesterday, right? Mariella?” he called, more to her then him, “It is! Kalib, what happened to that other girl? Didn’t you just hook up with Annette like a week ago?” Annette. The word sliced him. He had been so careful to leave her name out of it. He had no means of keeping them apart any more. “The Hufflepuff, right…Kalib…?” Zane trailed off as Kalib glared at him, the fire reflecting in his eye so much more fierce then it had been. An evil flame, burning to tackle his friend to the ground and beat him to a pulp, and if it hadn’t been for Mariella, he would have…

Mariella nearly jumped from her skin as she heard a voice, her breath coming back to her as she saw who it was. This was the infamous Zane, the one that snogged any and all girl that would allow him to, his attention being set on one thing: girls. Shaking her head , Mariella frowned, now fixing a death glare on the boy. Now he had stopped it before it got too far, but he dare have the audacity to mock them?! "Shut the hell up..."Mariella snapped, obviously annoyed at the boy. His laugh was bugging her as she bit her lip hard to prevent herself from slipping her wand from her pocket and hexing him. She didn't move from Kalib's lap, but pulled her shirt down and put a little bit of distance between them. It really wasn't much but it was enough to seem appropriate for sitting upon his lap.
"Bugger off", she muttered again as she glared at him from where she sat. Why was this guy awake!? She knew it was no where near the time to wake up--was it? No, she had checked her clock and she was somewhat sure that she wouldn't have to worry about anyone waking to find her sneaking from her dorm. She especially was angered at the fact someone was interrupting a wonderful, heated moment between her and Kalib. If she was cruel, she would singe his bollocks off but she would keep in line as long as Kalib stayed in line.
Mariella felt her eyebrow rise slowly as Zane seemed to spill a secret that was obviously angering Kalib. However, Mariella felt that this was a perfect moment to learn all that she wanted to know. She didn't care that Zane had mentioned her in such a rude way, no, she was focusing on what he was saying. Her gaze had softened, her head slowly cocking to the side. So her name was Anette...and she was a Puffer?! Mariella was surprised to hear the last part, eyebrow rising as she looked over at Kalib. She was surprised to see such a vile and angered fire in his eyes, her hand rising and gently stroking his cheek. She dipped her head down, whispering softly to him. "Don't worry...."she murmured softly. "Just think of it is I know who to avoid now...." She smirked at her sense of making the situation all better. Well, it was the truth, but it also helped know who to keep him away from.
[OOC:Hehehe! Yes! That is so awesome! Zan is the perfect distraction]

“Ooo, watch out for this one Kalib, listen to her dirty mouth! You kiss that thing?” Kalib snapped – it was one thing to mock them as a whole, but singling Mariella out he would not stand for. He knew it was rude, ignoring her attempts to calm him down, but it didn’t matter right now. His mind was so far from her it was scary, his attention and anger focused on Zane. Yes, if it hadn’t been for Mariella, he would have been on top of the dirt bag long before this. Now however, he pulled her up as gently as he could in his madness and put her on the chair.
“Zane, you little…” Kalib had his wand out and before he had ever decided to do so, an angry fire dragon was cast toward Zane. He yelped and fled back up the stairs, the beast nipping at his heels all the way and singing the bottom of his pajamas. With poor aim Zane sent something back his way, but it not only missed him by feet but vanished in a puff a smoke only a moment later. Fuming, Kalib considered running up after him, but he figured it was best not to wake the whole House.
He turned back to Mariella, carefully placing a smile on his lips. “You just have to know how to handle him,” he shrugged, “Besides, he’s just jealous he wasn’t the one caught. He wanted me to properly introduce you two you know. Mariella, Zane; Zane, Mariella.” He waved a feeble hand towards the stairs and back at her.
Kalib was considerably riffled up now though, and those taunts were going to his head. He would kill Zane, oh yes, he certainly would. There was no keeping the two apart now. She had everything she needed: a name and a House. Kalib had a sickening feeling Mariella would get to Annette before he could.

Mariella could feel anger surge through her as he insulted her, eyes glinting dangerously. She didn't take insults lying down, no, she was one to act when someone wanted to throw something her way. Her hand was on her wand, simply ready to cast a spell to hex the man. Although, it seemed Kalib had beat her to it, eyes widening slightly as she saw the dragon of fire charge at Zane.
An amused look spread across her face as she watched it chase the boy, laughing softly as she saw it get his heels and singe his pajama bottom. Poor boy. She was in mild shock as she saw him try and cast a hex back, it hitting the ground with pitiful aim. Shaking her head, Mariella felt a calm settle over her as she looked over at Kalib seeing him smiling at her. Well, it did seem a little forced but it was better than nothing...
Shaking her head, she chuckled softly, rolling her eyes. That guy was weird, she couldn't deny that. An introduction probably would've turned her off even more had Zane actually been introduced to her, Mariella assuming he would pull some sort of idiotic antic. She kissed him lightly on the cheek, sighing softly before waving her hand. "I know what you're think and I won't..."she muttered softly. He could only be assuming he would go to his girlfriend and spill about the whole situation, but Mariella wasn't planing to do something like that. Not now, not when it would be detrimental to her. She would wait till she could do it without and negative reprecusions onto herself. A soft laugh spilled from Mariella's lips, a smile spreading on them. "Well where were we?" she asked jokingly, although curious if he would consider going back to where they were or if he still needed to cool down.

Kalib knew he was being rude, but he shook his head. “Not right now, I think I’d actually just like to…” What exactly did he plan on doing? Sit back down in his chair and mull over things more? Hardly; that was just not happening. He seemed to have a lot of stored energy now. He needed to go out and do something. Something that could help him vent his anger and come back feeling better. For the first time this morning, he glanced at the large clock on the wall wrapped delicately in their House symbol. It was barely six o’clock, way before he was allowed out in the corridors and far to early to be seen out on the grounds.
But Mariella was sitting there so carefully, watching him, waiting for an answer. He knew if they hadn’t been interrupted Kalib very well might have done something he would have regretted, and made a mental note not to kill Zane so painfully. Something quick. The thought made him actually smile, a real smile.
He’d decided upon not leaving her just yet, but still, he had to get out. Well…maybe not out… Defeated, he cast his gaze back to the fire. His dragon has returned and was flowing in and out of the fire place, never straying too far. I don’t mind owls of course, but Knight can’t breath fire…” Kalib could feel himself relaxing a little bit, though still riffled.
