Welcome to Charms Class.
This class is MANDATORY for 1st through 5th years. There are N.E.W.T levels available for 6th and 7th years.
Charms is defined as: The manipulation of objects and creation of phenomena by means of the precise waving of the wand and the speaking of appropriate incantations.
This year we will be learning about many different types of useful household, random, and even defensive charms. The difficulty of these charms will depend on the advancement of a class or year.

Classroom Assignments
100 - Full Marks
70-100 - Pass
0-69 - Fail
0 - Bottom Marks
Tests, O.W.L.'s, N.E.W.T.'s
O - Outstanding
E - Exceeds Expectations
A - Acceptable[/ul]
P - Poor
D - Dreadful
T - Troll[/ul]
All classes will be as conducted as indicated below.
Gryffindor and Slytherin students will share classes.
Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students will share classes.
There will be a different lesson for each year.
Ways To Gain House Points:
- receiving full marks on homework
- answering questions in class
- being helpful
- more
Ways To Lose House Points and/or Receive Detention:
- skipping class
- being late to class
- neglecting to turn in homework
- having a negative attitude

NOTICE:[/color] When posting in classes, please keep some kind of posting order! Don't reply to every single post. Let other people post, and try to remember that this is a class, so the teacher needs to have time to post too. If things get too out of hand, there may eventually be a rule that only allows students to post twice after everybody signed up has made a post. But for now, just do your best to keep things organized and let everyone post.
