Professor Wyatt Godolphin read the name plate on the polished wooden desk at the front of the classroom. The man behind the counter certainly didn't feel like a professor. It seemed as though just yesterday Wyatt had been on the other side of the desk eager to learn, but it had actually been closer to a decade since the young Professor last set foot into this classroom.
Wyatt fussed with the papers on his desk while behind him he had enchanted a piece of chalk to write on the board:
Having finished it's task the enchanted chalk dropped to the bottom of the board waiting until it was given further instruction. Wyatt didn't intend on using the board much for the first few classes. Since he was a new teacher, he wanted to get acquainted with his students and also find out where they were skill wise.
Looking over the OWL scores Wyatt had been quite impressed with the number of O's there were also some E's and a few A's so it seemed there would be a good mix. Since it seemed most of his students would be more advanced he hoped to move at a relatively quick pace while giving special attention to those who struggled. After all no teacher wanted to see his students do poorly.
