ABOUT THE CHARACTER Name: Rita Jezebel Skeeter Age: 16 Gender: Girlie Year: 6th Celebrity: Jac Vanek Lauren Steil
Canon or Original? Cannon
Facial Properties: Rita has a very extravagant and feminine face. Her complexion is very fine tan that compliments her bright blonde hair. She has a very nice almond shaped head that pulls her entire face together. Her eyes are a large oval shape; while her shade is a very soft green hazel. Most of the time her eyes look light brown, but until you look closer, you can see the green tint. She has thin but full lips, complimented by her short slightly pointed nose. Her hair is a mid-length bright blonde color with heavy layers.
Physique: Rita is on the scale of average - a little shorter for her age. But she makes up for it with her absolutely gorgeous figure. She is unbelievably skinny, with just enough curves to catch the attention of eye wondering guys. Her figure is also very flexible, which makes a great many peers jealous of the talent she rarely uses. Altogether she a very slender and frail looking girl, but she usually dresses to impress. Though her style may be bordering rebel-ish, she still wears the large necklaces and earrings of the current trend. Her colors of choice are usually around earth tones, with the occasional bright color to throw you off.
Personality: Rita is the very type of person you never commit your deepest feelings to. Her mouth is on an unwired hinge and always moving. She will act like your best friend for as long as necessary to get what she’s after. Then after quite victorious, she will spread the rumor like a legion of locusts. And only but a few are really safe from her antics. She doesn’t have much of a need to be the most loyal or true since she isn’t a Gryffindor. She rather prides herself in being the face behind the mask. But as such, she works her dark magic very cunningly and it usually comes as quite a surprise to Hogwarts when the latest rumor surfaces. The funny thing is, so many believe in her. They rely on her to tell them the latest gossip, thus having a great many followers to back her.
The only ones who usually dislike her are the current targets. Only they really know if whether or not the rumor that is flying is true. But after the spotlight rolls off of them, then they quickly dismiss their harsh feelings towards Rita. Because they know her wrath will come ten times stronger next time. She has perfected the art of getting into peoples minds and essentially brainwashing them to her beliefs. She has such a large amount of charisma, that it is truly hard to disagree or say no to her. But she isn’t always on the prowl or playing others. Sometimes she acts just like a normal person; but those days are few and far between.
Now, to help you understand her more clearly, she is undyingly persuasive to others. Very few can resist her purring vocals and good looks. And therefore many are friends with her. Though most have a basic instinct to not tell her the whole story. Like said before, she is very crafty at not being the one blamed for the rumors. But onto another interest for her - boys. She isn’t obnoxiously obsessed, but defiantly has a taste for attractive wizards. Provided their close to her age, they’re all game. Whether dating or not - which brings in more dislike towards her from the girls of Howarts. Sometimes she won’t even be interested in the guy, she just wants to make the current girlfriend unbelievably jealous. It would seem quite apparent that she is a vicious girl to mess with, and even more aggressive to be friends with.
So one could say she is a cold person, very sly and downright mean sometimes. Any and all are open for her attacks, but just a small handful avoid her. One of her greatest problems that contributes to her lifestyle, is her lack of trust and respect in others. So if you for some reason get through her stone barrier of refusal, you just might land yourself a safe zone from her lies. But honestly, no one knows her deepest secrets. She keeps them locked away in an old buried chest, where they shall stay. All her skeletons in the closet remain a mystery to others. And that is where she stands. No one knows why she so willingly picks apart others, but some would say it is because she is deprived of something herself. Others would just state she’s a hurtful bitch. But all in all, the saying; it’s safer to keep your friends close, and your enemies closer fits her perfectly.

History: (forgive me if something doesn’t flow, it’s been a while since I’ve read 1-6, so I don’t remember if specifics were given on her history)
Rita was born during the harsh winter of ‘60, which later makes some believe that is the reason for her complete coldness. She was born into a rather wealthy family of wizards, one quite a well-known pure-blood in the wizarding community - the other, her mother, a muggle born. This would eventually lead to her interest in muggle studies, but most essentially muggle journalism. Her father had always dabbled himself in wizarding affairs that might have been better left alone. Sometimes he would come home with a large sack of coins, whilst others, nothing but bread and tea. Thus her life was born and bred into an unstable environment.
Her mother you could say, only stuck with her father through some long lost love of hers. Most of the time she was elsewhere with other people, sometimes other men. But she did her duties as a good mother when Rita was too young to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. She would play with her and teach her both wizard and muggle ways. Her mother can truly be credited for giving Rita her first quill, which later lead into an obsession to write. Most of the times though, she felt it easier to write in fantasy rather than non-fiction. So leading her into a lifestyle of, if the answers haven’t been given or are too dull, make them up. Everyone wants something beyond the bore of everyday life.
When she was sent to Hogwarts, both fear and anticipation fled through her like a waterfall. She was happy to meet others, while she found herself not quite liked. She overheard one girl saying that she was obnoxious and annoying. This only fueled her greed to want to put this girl in her place for saying such horrible things about her. Needless to say when she was sorted into Ravenclaw, and the girl in a different house, a mutual war erupted. Though the other quickly gave up the battery, Rita found it enthralling to pick fights and win them. So for her earlier years, she was the young blonde to look out for. While now, older, more mature, and more aggressive, she is known as the charming and luring tigress into a pit of doom.
As she grew older, Rita really learned about her father’s bad gambling habits and her mother’s loneliness. She felt helpless to a solution, so more so blocked the reality from her mind. It really struck home when her father was beat for not having the desired item promised. So as more of a protection, she never speaks of her home life. Hogwarts was in fact her safety, and her source of amusement. Rounding on her sixth year, she already has the name to fear, but is now chiseling the corners to make a smooth edge. She’s the seductive lie that everyone eventually falls victim to.
ABOUT YOU Name: E or Enigma Years of Experience: 3ish/4 Sample Post: From Drake..
He had humored himself for the last hour or so by entertaining some first years. His method of choice? By far his most successful and promising class; transfiguration. He had a passion for changing things that are dull and unnoticed into something extravagant - but most importantly into something that they are not. A dangerous hobby, but for now, a simple showing of talent. He had scooped up an unsuspecting brown cricket, which sent a few of the girls wailing to their common rooms. Then proceeded to change it time and time again whilst the younger ones just watched in aw. Of course, it wasn’t rocket science, and they too would understand the logistics one day; but for now, he looked amazing in their eyes. After changing it for the final time into a miniature Siberian Dragon, he waved his wand once more and flicked. A large puff of green and blue smoke erupted and the potentially dangerous miniature was returned to it’s normal state. The cricket chirped violently before hustling away from the madman.
Drake then proceeded to tell his fan club that he had things to do; which made them beg for him to stay a moment longer. It really struck him as humorous that he was an ‘idol’ to some younger students. Being the tough as nails guy , but more often than not, the middle man. The one who had the capabilities to win the push and shove battles, but preferred brains over brawn. Even though it is always nice to have the meat to back up the words. But that wasn’t his style. He wouldn’t degrade himself to the levels of unintelligent morons. So onto his decision to leave the courtyard behind; he made his way down the hills, on the opposite side of the lake. One foot in front of the other, walking aimlessly through the brush, while placing his mahogany Rowan Oak wand back in the pockets of his jeans. He brushed his hair back, to leave his eyes vulnerable for only seconds before it fell in his face again. He sighed softly and continued his wayward journey.
His mind was abruptly stopped when he heard a familiar ‘whoosh’ come near his head. Instinct made him duck, but it was a wasted effort, as he was far out of range from the man-hating tree. He chortled a small laugh from his deep vocals, then stood back up straight in his colossal frame. He brushed the invisible grass from his pants, then continued his walk. “One of these days, DT.” He said under his breathe. Now, DT was the nickname giving to the tree, courtesy of it’s fetish to try and scwash anything that gets to close. DT stand for the perfectly suited - Demonic Tree. But just when he thought he was alone, he caught the glimpse of a head by some logs. Panic stripped him for a moment, thinking that perhaps DT had taken a victim of a younger, and unwise student. His steps fastened, until a familiar figure came into view. He paused, then started again at a normal walk.
Damn Huffles, he joked to himself. But he knew for a fact something was distraught about her, and he hadn’t spoke to her for a few days. He bent down to the ground slowly, and picked a lonesome weed, while placing it behind his back. He forwarded his motion, while placing a devilish grin on his sovereign face. He said the incantation in his mind, as the single weed changed into a rather marvelous carnation of blue and white. Maybe not a natural colour for the flower, but defiantly deserving. He finally stopped yards away from the familiar girl and spoke in his scratchy voice, “Thought you looked like you might want some company Bella,” he said in maybe a harsher tone than he wanted. He had a knack for unintentionally sounding colder than he was; but it just kept those to shallow to know any different away from him. “And a little cheering up.” He added as he pulled the unique carnation from behind his back and towards her. Yes, a rather cheesy line and notion, but he was sincere. Flattery wasn’t a special icon in his dictionary of morals.

Considering you already have two accepted characters, I don't see any trouble with accepting your application. History and personality have good lengths, and overall, it is a great app. So, Accepted ^^
