ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Name: Jason MacNair Age: 16 Gender: Male Year: Sixth Year Celebrity: Jesse McCartney
Canon or Original? Cannon
Facial Properties:
“Well, if you going to make me describe my face, I really should start at the basics, shouldn’t I? Personally, I think my face is one of the most defining points on me, it’s always showing off my emotions like those Gryffindors show off their, well, thier everything. One thing that, although I don’t notice much, I’ve been told is when I get really angry by eyes can chage their color a bit from their natural blue to a sea green color. Although, I don’t tend to look in the mirror much when I’m that angry, so I’ve never really seen it happen. Above the portals into my mood are my eyebrows. I have rather thick eyebrows, which I quite like. I can rase one eyebrow and not the other, which is a fun expression aswell. My nose is one of those parts of my face that, when I do look in the mirror, I tend to cring at. I just seems to be a bit to wide for my face, lie it’s trying to take over it. Fortunatly, my lips pull it into proportion as they are quite full, so I guess it all works out for the best.
My favorate part of my face it my hair. I wont deny, there are times when I think it would be easier just to be bald, but then.. I get my sences knocked back into me. It’s one of those common blond with natural hazel highlights, which look great, by the way. It’s a bit like those Bengla tiger stripes, you know, yellow and black? Just not so extream.. Anyway, when it’s just been washed it can look a bit.. well.. fluffy. Excuse me while I cringe for a moment. But, thankfully, with a few charms and what not it’s back to its straight self in no time (the charms are also the cause of that extra bit of shine which gives it is oomph). My hair is slightly raised due to the curvature of my face, as I have an egg face.. Yes, thats what I said. My head is shaped like an upside down egg, a rounded top head and a pointed chin.”
Physique:
“Now, I’m not one to boas... um.. skip that. As far as I’m concerned, I’m in pretty damn good shape. It’s all that running around and tackling my cousins and brothers. If you don't stay fit at my house, you end up on the bottom of the dog pile. Although I do eat quite a bit of food, so I cant say that I have the best body in my family. Daniel only ever eats meat and veg so he seems to be the strongest of us all (though that may also be because he's 20). But I still have a decent four pack. Just.. Anyway, off that, I'm starting to get depressed. All the Mulciber men are quite tall, although my mother is only Five foot Four, so thanks to her I only stand at my tallest at Five foot Ten. Wow, that didn't help.. Well, my feet are a size 12, which is a good man size. There, I feel better now."
Personality:
Jason was brought up in a pure blood old money family, with old morals and beleifs, most of which he has taken on as his own. As the rest of his family he has a belief that all muggles are lower class scum, along with house elves and other so called magical creatures. He completely supports the rising of The Dark Lord, and wants to grow up supporting him. But for now, his support isn’t much more than verbal. Of course, his hatred of muggles is entirely the fault of his parents, which comes from their parents and so on. He doesn’t have much reasoning behind it, but as far as he is concerned, he doesn’t need any reasoning. If asked he would just say he hated them, ‘because they are scum’.
However, you couldn’t base Jason’s whole personality by his hate for everything Muggle. It’s those little things that make him who he is. Like the fact that when he waves, it isn’t just one little hand movement, but a large sweeping wave that covers half his body. Jason is an expressive person, who is passionate about what he believes, even if he could be proved wrong. He likes to joke around, and despises work. He’ll moan that Slytherin isn’t winning, but won’t put in the effort to help. Or he’ll boast that Slytherin is winning, but none of it will be thanks to him. His homework is usually just at passing standards, often below them. He likes to sit at the back of the classroom and doodle on his parchment, sending notes and passing jokes.
He'll often get angry for no reason, at the smallest thing. But then, in a different time or place the same thing would have just made him laugh. It all depends on what is going on in his life at the moment, because the people around him effect him greatly. He doesn’t hide his emotions, although he tends not to cry in public, so he is often seen to be a bit over the top. On saying that, he can lie very well, and he does lie quite often about most things (especially to his professors about the whereabouts of his homework), and give people the completely wrong impression of him, usually for the best.
One of his favourite things to do, along with beating people up for fun (such as his mates and brothers), is prank people. His whole family is full of pranksters, so he learns from the best (that being his oldest brother). The setting up of the prank is the most fun part of it all, and the reaction on the victims face is always priceless. Although, this got him a few enemies in hiss first and second years. Luckily he knows how to handle pay-back-pranks, because in his house you cant walk into a room without being suspicious of some sort of booby trap.
Jason has a very large ego, which isn't helped by his brothers belief that every MacNair that ever lived is a god sent gift to the earth. He has charm and charisma but both can often be hidden behind his vain approch to life, and the MacNair belief of superiority. However, that doesn't mean that he wont accociate with people in other houses, on the contary he has many mates in all four houses, It just means he is more selective in his friends.

History:
When Jason was born his family already had 2 boys, Daniel (3) and Marq (2). The three were born into a young family living on old money. The house, or better yet, the castle in which they lived was passed down to the eldest boy on Jason’s mothers’s side of the family tree. However, her brother committed the ultimate crime and married a mud-blood witch, so because he was the only son, and she was the oldest girl (she has one younger sister), Jason’s mother got the house, and at the age of Eighteen. When they married it only seemed sensible that both her and Jason's Dad should move into it, as he wasn't the oldest boy in his family, so he wouldn't get the family house anyway. So they brought up the family there.
As Jason grew up he and his brothers became accustomed to the patter of footsteps on the stone floors because year after year they got a new sibling. You may wonder why Michelle MacNair would want so many children. In reality she didn’t, she just wanted a little girl. So, when she was pregnant with her sixth child and she swore it would be the last one no one was suprise when she change her mind when the baby boy was brought home. Luckily for her (and the rest of the family - the long sleepless nights were getting annoying) the seventh child was a girl, and since her birth there have been no more siblings. Because of his mother desire for a little girl Jason got to grow up with five other boys, Daniel (now 20), Marq (18), Tomus (15), Drew (13) and Max (11), and that teaches you a thing or two about life. You have to be rough and though in order to survive. And it’s not just the constant tackling that keeps you on your toes; it’s the battle for the smallest sliver of attention every child craves from their parents.
You can’t say he had a bad childhood, because that would be a downright lie. Jason’s child hood was only of the happiest times of his life, and he often visits it again by turning back his age and letting his inner child run loose around the large family garden. Having the six brothers, plus the seven other male cousins he’s got (his dad had four siblings) was a complete blessing. They have Six (Brothers) on Seven (Cousins) Quidditch matches, most often won by the band of brother, they randomly tackle each other, most often started by Marq, and generally have a great time.
When he got his letter on his eleventh birthday it was no shock. His magic was obvious, much like his brothers had been, and he entered Hogwarts full of confidence. Of course, his prankster ways got his a few enemies, but his brothers always looked out for him, just like he looks out for them. Right now he is looking out for his three younger brothers, and next year he'll be looking out for his little sis. Although, if anyone has benefited the most from having a hoard of brothers its her, as she is one of the toughest little girls he knows, always answering back and fighting her way through life.

Sample Post:
She felt it. Every body felt it. You couldn't not. Natasha was practically thrown of her chair. Steadying herself, she stood up, dark brown eyes wide. Running out of the lounge, along with many other passengers abroad the cruse ship, Inquisitor, Natty raced up the stairs to the assembly point in the boat and crashed into a large man. “Get back, Kid, it’s dangerous” There was fear in his eyes, and his voice was shaky. Nat nodded weakly and didn’t ask for an explanation of what ‘it’ was; his face showed it was nothing to waste time over. Speeding down the stairs, her hand on the rail, towards her room. Upon entering her room she fell into the arms of her mother. Rachel was crying and had only just entered the room herself. She told Natty to grab what ever she could and run with her. Natty obliged and grabbed a handful of clothes, and a small black bag. She was lead upto the deck of the boat, which was flooding. Natty looked at her mother, confused. Everything was so fast, and didn’t make any sense. Why was there water everywhere? And why could she smell smoke, but not see fire? Something as not right, and it didn’t take a genius to figure that out. Life boats were being filled, and Natty could see her mother and father. She ran upto them, and they grasped onto her, for, what would be, the last time. Suddenly she was jerked backwards as the boat gave up its struggle for life and began to fall on it’s side. Crashing to the floor the last thing she heard was her mother’s cry and her father calling her name.. NATTY! Natty! Natty… As his voice faded the world around her did to, and she blacked out.
Cold. Cold and wet. Her fists were clenched, holding onto the few items that had stayed with her during the confusion, and her fair was in her mouth. Where was she? Natty breathed in, but more water than air entered her lungs. Rolling on her side, Nat chocked back up the water and was sick. She opened her eyes to see water, sand and sick. Pushing herself up onto her knees, Nat let go of her possessions, and watched the water underneath her roll in and out. She was exhausted and confused. Why there sand on the ship? Why couldn’t she hear anything? Natty looked up, and her eyes focused. She couldn’t see the ship, only a long strip of sand, and a bright blue sky. Too bright. She shut her eyes again, and shook her head, trying to wake up from the dream she was having. This couldn’t be real, could it? She opened her eyes again, but the same image was displayed before her. What was happening? She could see people, but not hear them.. She opened her mouth to shout, but nothing came out. Her hands slipped down her knees, and she fell on the sand, exhausted from just lifting her head. Something wasn’t right.
Trying again, Natasha managed to stand up, and slowly walked forward in a daze. Suddenly her ears exploded and sound could be heard all around. Littering the beach were bodies, and the screams and cries of people could be heard everywhere. She faltered in her footing often, stumbling forward on the white sand, and looked along the shore. The body’s looked slightly familiar, but none stood out. Until she saw her own reflection. That is, an older version of herself, portrayed as her mother.
Nat stood still, frozen to the spot, and then collapsed onto the sand. Crawling forward she placed a hand on her mothers body. No pulse. No breathing. No life. Natasha crumbled onto the sand, leaning on her dead mother body, and wept silently.

Hey Rachel, I thought I'd have a look over this app before I go. Unfortunately, as it's nicely written, there is a gaping rule-break.
See how it contradicts these sections of The Rules?
Modify please?

I've changed my mind for my character. I would like to withdraw this application because I want to change certain aspects of it. I am going to post another male app soon, with many of the same characteristics, but some key things changed. Sorry for any inconvenience.
