ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Name: Sirius Black
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Year: 7th Year
Celebrity: Jared Padelecki
Canon or Original? Canon
Facial Properties: Sirius has medium length black hair that falls into his face with a simple sort of elegance. His face is round but his jaw is quite chiseled and when he smiles his entire face lights up. His eyes are dark blue and narrow but they dart around excitedly when he is feeling up for an adventure. His nose is bony and straight and still slightly crooked from where he was hit by a bludger in the fourth year. His ears are smaller than average but one can usually only see the bottoms under his hair.
Physique: Sirius is thin but by no means scrawny. His body is fit and well-muscled and he is a strong boy. His feet are quite big but they don't seem so out of place since he is also quite tall. Sirius has long legs to accompany his height and enjoys running just for fun. He has broad shoulders and strong hands and enjoyed working with wood as a boy. He never worries about what he's wearing and usually just throws something on but manages to look alright in his clothes all the same.
Personality: Sirius is a risk-taker and often realizes the consequences of his actions only after wards and never before. He enjoys sneaking around with his three best friends: James Potter, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew- and especially with James, his best friend of them all. Sirius sees rules merely as something to be broken and doesn't like to let them stand in the way of a midnight escapade or a jaunt into the Forbidden Forest. He has been an Animagus for about two years now and often adopts the form of a dog when going on little adventures with his friends. Every full moon when Remus turns into a werewolf he goes out with him and their friends and the four of them have great fun together.
Even though Sirius maintains a bad-boy attitude he is a caring person and a great friends. He would defend or stand up for any of his friends at any given time, knowing they too would do the same for him. He respects most of the teachers and would rarely be rude to them in class- save one or two he detests. His has a bit of an ego like James bu usually manages to tone it down when needed. He enjoys playing practical jokes on others with James but wouldn't try and hurt someone...well maybe Snivellus...
Sirius has never been in a serious relationship though he has had a couple girlfriends in the past years. He doesn't want to be in something serious because he knows that he has later life for that and right now he wants to enjoy his time at Hogwarts with his friends (also he has never met someone he has felt strongly about in a serious way).
Sirius' favorite class is Defense Against the Dark Arts because he loves the practical aspect to it and finds it more exciting than any of the other classes. Indeed it is the only class he truly pays attention to all the time. He wishes to be an Auror when he is older so he takes Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration and Potions among others for his NEWT classes. He manages to scrape average mark in Potions, a class that is neither his forte nor his downfall, but is trying to improve so as to manage a better NEWT mark at the end of the year.
Quidditch. Sirius' favorite thing about Hogwarts. He loves his role as a beater and he loves playing with James. He was thrilled for his friend when James became captain and was never truly jealous (though sometimes he feels a twinge of jealously when he watched James directing the team but he shakes it away by being happy for his friend). Sirius shares much house spirit for Gryffindor and one of his favorite parts of Quidditch is playing with the fans cheering in the stands, knowing that so many people are supporting him, cheering him on and want him to do well. Sirius loves being in the spotlight and standing out in a crowd. He loves when people are watching him and performs better when there is an audience (Not only in Quidditch but all the time).
On the whole, Sirius is a dare-taker, a dog animagus, a loyal friends, an average student, a avid Quidditch player, and strong supporter of Gryffindor spirit. He loves Hogwarts more many times more than his home and it is his favorite place in all of the world.

-Severus Snape (Or as he calls him: Snivellus Snape)

-The school nurse (When he broke his nose she had him in the school ward much longer than he thought necessary and wouldn't let him go when he thought he was better- she was probably right but he still doesn't really like her)
History: Sirius was born 17 years ago and grew up in Grimmauld Place with his parents and brother. All three were supporters of Voldemort's Cause and Sirius despised them for that. [[Does Voldemort exist in this world or not, sorry??]] He has always hated his home and was overjoyed when he started at Hogwarts because it meant he could spend most of the year away from home and it was an amazing school.
Sirius learned about magic at an early age as his parents were always talking about it and tried to see what he could do even when he was a child. The first time he performed magic was actually when he set his father's pants on fire at the bottom when he was very mad at him at age seven. His father had been gloating about the Dark side and telling Sirius that nothing was to be gained by being a good little loser. His father was partly furious but partly impressed that Sirius had done magic. After that incident Sirius began to notice many strange things happening when he was feeling a certain emotion strongly.
Growing up was certainly difficult for Sirius but he managed to survive somehow and is many times happier at Hogwarts. He recalls the day he got the letter from Hogwarts as one of the happiest days of his life. The other would have been when Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup and when he met James Potter and knew from the start he had found a best friend. Hogwarts has always been his favorite place in the world.
The day Sirius got the letter his mother took him to Diagon Alley and bought him robes, a cauldron, a wand (11 inches, ash, unicorn hair) and an owl (Ciel). Sirius might have dreaded going out wit his mother but he secretly treasures the memory because it was the only time he got to spend time with his mother when she just focused on him and wasn't mad at him or disappointed in him. Ciel was the best thing his mother ever gave him and Sirius still has the beautiful snowy owl to this day.
Sirius was born into a pure-blooded dark family but he has managed to grow up never once thinking that pure-bloods were better and never embracing the dark side. He is a misfit in the Black family and finds himself wishing many times he could have had a different family. But he also realized at an early age how horrible those that embrace the dark side truly are- something he might not have realized even at the age he is now.
ABOUT YOU
Name: Kabby or Kaede

Sample Post: Sirius sat in his room, peering out the musty window. Finally, quiet. Downstairs his mother and father were fussing over Regulus as usual, with not a thought to their other son. But he didn't want their attention. Not now and not ever. He got up with a sigh and walked across his small room to where a small calendar was pinned against the wall. He had circled September 1st in red marker and slashed off all the days before up until today. August 29th. With a semi-grin he pulled a marker out of his pocket and drew a new slash through today's date. Three more days.
The thought made Sirius much happier and he returned to the chair by his old desk. Three days until he could be at Hogwarts again and then he wouldn't have to see his parents or this disgusting home for many months. He wouldn't even have to see Regulus much; his brother wasn't even in the same house. His grin widened as he also thought of seeing his friends again; Remus, Peter and of course, James. Once he got to Hogwarts he would be free to do what he wanted instead of wandering around an old house, tiptoeing all the time, trying to make his parents forget he was there. Not that they need much persuasion, Sirius thought, and snorted. It was true, his parents constantly pretended he didn't exist, expect perhaps to point out that his clothes were filthy or he should cut his hair or mutter to each other loudly what a disappointment he was, pretending they didn't mean for him to hear.
Sirius slouched back further in the chair and rolled his eyes. Big news. He had realized long ago what a disappointment he had turned out and a few malicious words from his parents weren't going to ruin his day or make he feel guilty. He was distracted form his thoughts as he saw a small speck in the sky, approaching his window slowly. Sirius grinned and leaned forward. His hands fumbled on the rickety window crank and he turned it softly, watching the window creak and finally open. Ciel flew in a couple minutes later and Sirius petted her feathers softly. "That's my girl. Back with a letter for me?"
Ciel hooted softly and stuck out one leg in which a small envelope was tied with red string. Sirius grinned and untied the letter. Ciel hopped onto her perch and he leaned back in the chair and began to read the letter. It was from James.
Hey Sirius!
How are you? Never mind, don't answer. I can guess you've probably had a horrible summer in that house you hate so much, I feel really bad for you but there's no way your parents would have let you visit me. Even if you're old enough almost to not have to listen to them, you've explained countless times how you're practically imprisoned during the summer so I didn't think it would work out. But hey, I did offer right?
Sirius pulled a wry grin. It was true. James had offered many times for him to come over but Sirius had known his parents wouldn't have let him out of the house. Most days they locked his door so he couldn't even leave his room. He sighed and turned back to the letter.
Anyway, I don't really have much to say but I know you enjoy getting mail from your buds during the summer and I can't wait to see you soon. Just hold on for three more days, pal!
James
Sirius sighed and dropped the letter onto his desk. James had a point, sort of. He picked up a quill and a piece of parchment and began to write back, the same though circulating through his mind over and over. Three more days, three more days, three more days, three more days...
