Canon or Original? Original
Distinguishing Physical Features: Elisabetta has black, wavy hair which reaches to just above the middle of her back. Her eyes are blue and oval-shaped, with thick black lashes framing them. She has high cheekbones, and a nose that's thin and straight. Elisabetta is curvy, yet slender, with good muscle tone and skin that's somewhat tanned, due to all of the summers she's spent tanning while on holiday. Her lips are shapely, yet a bit on the thin side. There is a tiny birthmark on the upper left corner of her mouth. She is 5'6" and weighs 175 pounds.
Wand Type: 10", mahogany, dragon heartstring; good for transfiguration Patronus: Horse Boggart: Trolls Personality: {four or more paragraphs} Elisabetta is not exactly what you'd call a social butterfly. While most people would look at her as being stand-offish and somewhat of a snob, that's not really the case at all. She simply prefers to be by herself rather than be in a large group of people. Elisabetta finds crowds to be incredibly suffocating, which always induces one of her fears--that of being imprisoned. Her personal space is very important to her, and should someone happen to invade it, she lets him or her know in no uncertain terms that they are not welcome in it, and that they should get away from her immediately.
As an only child, Elisabetta has never really had to share anything of hers, and this attitude carries on even at Hogwarts. She is extremely protective of all of her belongings, and if anything of hers looks like it's out of place in her dorm room, she'll throw a fit, no matter who's in the room. She has a temper, and while she tries to squash it down most of the time, she has no problem with showing it should the need arise, which doesn't exactly endear her to people. This doesn't bother her, however; relationships have never really meant all that much to Elisabetta, as she considers them to be too much fuss and bother, and the last thing that she wants is more fuss and bother.
While Elisabetta can be abrasive at times, she does have an introspective side to her. When she's actually alone, she tends to think about her life and what she's making of it. She wonders why she acts the way she acts, believes what she believes, and if she'll ever get her head on straight and behave like a self-respecting human being. However, despite her moments of soul-searching, she always comes back to the conclusion that no matter what she might think or want, her first loyalty is to her parents--as dominating as they are--and what they want her to think and feel and want and need. Again, going back to feeling imprisoned, Elisabetta sometimes feels trapped in a life she never asked for, but has to live it no matter what. It's this frustration that causes her to go off by herself and cry at times.
Elisabetta, despite her moody disposition, does have her moments of happiness. She loves going out in a thunderstorm and playing in the rain, no matter if there's lightning striking or not. Reading also gives her great pleasure; for her, escaping into a book allows her to forget about daily life and its trials and tribulations. It also makes her forget that there are other students at Hogwarts and thus keeps her safely ensconced in her own little world.
Romantic relationships are out of the question for Elisabetta. While she considers other relationships to be too much fuss and bother, this especially holds true for boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. She hates public displays of affection; if she had her way, the girls and boys involved in such actions would be punished with detention every time they were caught. She often wonders if it's out of jealousy and spite that she feels this way, and while she admits that that might be a possibility, the fact is that she still finds people hugging, holding hands, and kissing to be vomit-inducing. She has been known to pass by couples and make remarks like "Get a room" or "Last I checked, this was a school and not Lover's Lane".
While people may say many things about Elisabetta, what they can't say is that she isn't honest, sometimes to the point of being brutal. She doesn't mince words, and if someone's feelings get hurt, she doesn't really care. To her, what matters is that there are no misunderstandings in whatever issue might have cropped up. She has no patience with people who have to have things explained to them over and over again; in her mind, if they can't understand something the first time, then they're really not worth bothering with to begin with.

History: {three or more paragraphs} Elisabetta was born in London, England to Richard and Simone Domenici, both of whom hail from old wizarding families. From the time she was three until she received her letter from Hogwarts, Elisabetta traveled with her mother on her various concert tours. When both parents were away on various errands and meetings, Elisabetta was taken care of by her house elf.
Elisabetta's family life was calm and, to her at least, uneventful. Her parents, when home, always made sure to give their daughter their undivided attention, which included warnings about associating with people she didn't know. Although confused about this, Elisabetta agreed, and, like an obedient daughter, took this advice to heart. As far as her education before Hogwarts, it was Richard and Simone who gave her her first lessons about the magical world, using their old Hogwarts textbooks to teach her how to read. Richard himself taught her basic math skills.
When she was six, Elisabetta and her parents were visiting her uncle, Massimo Domenici, when she accidentally set a Bludger loose (although she had no idea exactly how it happened; it was the first time something like that had ever happened to her) in the house. The Bludger ended up smashing her uncle's favorite chess set, which resulted in Massimo's berating Elisabetta until she cried. Richard Domenici, quite angry, ended up cursing his brother, which resulted in Massimo no longer being able to speak.
Following this run-in with her uncle, Elisabetta tried her hardest not to let what happened that night happen again; however, it wasn't long after that when she was upset and ended up causing the mirror in her bedroom to shatter. Confused, she went to her parents, who explained to her that what was happening was a good thing, that she was showing signs of being an excellent witch, once she'd been trained. It was with anticipation that Elisabetta looked forward to receiving her Hogwarts letter, and when it finally arrived, she was beside herself with joy.
Elisabetta has no brothers or sisters, as Simone Domenici was unable to become pregnant after having Elisabetta. This, however, does not bother Elisabetta, as she loves the fact that she doesn't have to share any of her belongings with anyone else.

Elisabetta Domenici sighed as she opened her Charms book. Of all days, today had to have been the day that Flitwick had given them an exam...she hadn't studied for it the night before because she'd been too busy trying to figure out her Arithmancy homework. It wasn't fair, really. It's like the professors knew when you hadn't studied; that was when they sprang an exam on you.
She scowled at the pages in front of her and scanned the writing without really reading the text. A pout formed on her lips, and a moment later, she slammed the book shut and leaned back in her chair. Had it not been a library she was in, she would have screamed; as it was, she couldn't, and so was forced to keep her emotions in check. Nothing was fair that day.
Elisabetta looked around at the other students who were studying. A flicker of envy arose; none of them were having any difficulty keeping up with their subjects. None of them had to deal with sleepless nights and endless owls from their parents that talked about the most inane subjects. She didn't see any frustrated looks on their faces. It was surreal, almost; students usually didn't look so calm when they were doing homework, and she knew perfectly well that some of them were studying Ancient Runes and Arithmancy, two of the more challenging subjects at Hogwarts.
She couldn't take it any more. Stuffing her books back into her book bag, she stormed out of the library, nearly bowling over a first-year Gryffindor boy on the way. She wasn't in the mood to apologize, however. All she wanted to do was get away from everyone, to go somewhere to be alone for a little while.
