Jooj and Arti have always been a stellar writing pair, and Arti's Frank has always been one of my favourite canons. So when Jooj picked up Alice, I was pretty excited, because I knew their threads and plotting would be great. I wasn't disappointed; the whole thread is an entertaining read. The way Frank and Alice are starting to see each other and think about each other is definitely something to giggle over, but not in a bad way - it's definitely cute. I love how flustered Frank gets when he thinks about the fact that his friends are girls, and reading about how Alice wishes she had a miniMay and miniLucy was too amusing. The little character traits and details in this thread are amazing; Arti and Jooj are fantastic at capturing little moments while keeping the thread moving at a good pace. Of course the last post was a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Knowing them, it'll be completely unexpected, but totally perfect in its own way. Great job, you two!

Though I haven't been here very long, I feel very privileged to be on a site with so many talented writers and people who portray characters we all know and love so well. An excellent example of this is Frank Longbottom and Alice Prewett-- from what I've seen, looking back, this developing relationship has been perfectly paced and beautifully written. this thread in particular caught my eye, because it's the classic, as Alice writes-- "friends turn lovers," but reading it I still got butterflies and felt nervous for the two of them! The awkwardness and the thought process behind each one is real and believable. and I think awkwardness can be hard to capture sometimes, so kudos! So many little details in each of the posts are so perfect! Like the way Alice says 'so' too loudly and gets a little flustered, or the way Frank 'fiddles with the cap of his bottle,' -- such little things that really speak volumes about the way the characters feel and endear them and their situation to your heart. The way both over analyze what is said and done is so easy to relate to, because who hasn't been there? You guys really KNOW your characters-- right down to the little movements or habits they have, to the way they say things, their speaking patterns, no detail of their personalities left out-- it's stunning. The writing is beautifully constructed and made me invested in both these characters and their feelings; I can't wait to read more as it continues! great job, both of you, I think you really deserve this award! <3
