Alecto's threads are going to be categorized according to chapters, each representing a certain portion of note in her life that will be switched to a different chapter upon some event that changed her, or made some impact on her life. I will strive to keep this as updated as possible, but I do have four other characters to keep up with as well, so don't expect my organization to be totally impeccable, haha. Owl threads, time turner threads, and large group threads will all be indicated just to keep everything as clear and as easy to navigate as possible. (:

CHAPTER ONE

After Alecto's fateful graduation from her home of six years, she turns to yet another source of solace and companionship––the Dark Lord, and his followers, the Death Eaters. She received her Dark Mark shortly after she graduated and turned eighteen, and though this was met with disapproval by Sirius Black, it was met with applause and awe by her little brother Amycus and her once-Slytherin friends. She joined with Bellatrix, Severus, Rodolphus, and Rabastan, and really? Alecto's proud of herself. She belongs to something big and powerful and that dark, twisty tattoo is just oh so sexy, isn't it?

Slightly infuriated that she wasn't invited to be a wedding crasher, Alecto sends a discreetly bitchy complaint to Rodolphus, expecting him to both explain and apologize for his decision to not include her. They end up discussing many things, including Alecto's anger about her brother being duped by a Hufflepuff girl and her belief that Rodolphus seasons his hair with chicken grease. She also wanted to know how many students were killed, and though she didn't say it outright, if a certain Sirius Black was among the casualties... [wip]

Alecto writes to Sirius shortly after she learns of the aftermath of the attack on Lily's and James' wedding, with two motives: one, to see if Sirius was alive and two, to offer a veiled attitude of regret for their last meeting. However, it becomes clear that Sirius is still reeling from the deaths of Marlene McKinnon's family––an even to which he ascribes Alecto. She clears her name with him, however, explaining that she hadn't been there that night... but an excuse was hardly good enough to salvage the conversation. Sirius insults her cruelly, and she sends equally cruel barbs his way until he stops replying, and she expresses a snide remorse over having sent the owl in the first place.

With Alecto's head still reeling from being left out of the Potter-Evans wedding attack, she sends a scathing owl to her little brother, endeavoring to learn more about this scandal that has recently been made known to her involving he and some little Puffer. What with Alecto feverishly trying to earn respect in the pureblood Death Eater circles, and with all the work she's been doing to try and maintain the Carrow name? She's extremely pissed off at her brother for possibly ruining that. So, she writes to him, wanting to learn the name of the girl. For reasons undisclosed. And, after a brief row, she manages to extract the name from him and is disgusted to learn that it's miss Hufflepuff Princess, Rose Darwin. Oh, it just couldn't get worse, could it?

If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself. That's what everyone always says and Alecto's beginning to understand why. She's sick of her brother mooning after that Rose Darwin girl, even if he does say it's 'over' between them. Eh, as far as Lecto's concerned, he's still got feelings for her. But he won't, will he, when she's dead? And that, my friends, is precisely the task Alecto has assigned to herself that Saturday evening... [wip]
