Distinguishing Physical Features: Minimum 1 Paragraph: Marcus is a tall
dark skinned male of about 6'3. His defining feature has always been hi height, something he is quite proud of, and his hair, which he will spends hours brushing. He was a dancer earlier in life and has good balance as a result of that. He was in an accident as a kid that left him with an oddly shaped scar on his knee.
Wand Type: What sort of wand does your character use? What area does it excel in? Mahogany and Dragon Heartstring. 14" Sturdy and good for transfiguration, but bad at charms.
Patronus: No minimum. What form does your character's Patronus take? His Patronus is in the form of a Lion.
Boggart: No minimum. What form would a boggart take in front of your character? It turns into an inferius.

Marcus is very curious. He's always searching to answer some question or another. His dream is to work as a spell researcher at one of the many ancient magical sites around the world. The mysteries of magic have always been a driving force in helping him sate his curiosity.
To make Marcus happy, show him something new. He loves to see new things and trying to figure out what it is they do.
He loves coming up with new inventions based off of the muggle technology his father introduced to him. His favorite muggle device being the automobile, something he'd love to own and take apart. His happiest moment was when he got to go driving through muggle London with his uncle when he was 9. He got to see so many new sights and so many people at once it will be his cherished memory forever.
Marcus' biggest fear to lose all of his knowledge, but a close second has to be inferius, because without it he wouldn't be able to understand things. His second fear, Inferius, was caused by seeing the death of his aunt while accompanying her on an expedition to South America. While traveling with the research team they fell into the tomb they were looking for. Right into a trap room filled with Inferius, and while everyone else was able to get into a ring of fire made by the security detail his aunt was killed before she could make it.

Marcus was born to his magical mother and muggle born father. He was raised primarily by his mother after his father left the family to live in the muggle world. His mother works as a foreign diplomat for the MoM and he has traveled to many of the countries she would go to for work. When he couldn't he would stay with his aunt, at least until her death when he was 15, and after her accident with friends of his mothers.
Marcus' father is a muggle born who lives completely in the muggle world. He's a police officer, because he washed out of the auror program his mother would say, who works and lives in London. He has a new family that gave Marcus his little sister Beth, who is currently 7. Marcus' uncle is also an officer in London and Marcus' favorite relative. He used to take him to trips in the muggle world when his father had him, but had to work. His favorite trip being driving around muggle London just looking at all of the sites. Though after his mother found out about this he was limited in the amount of time he could spend with his father, and his uncle completely forbidden.
When he was eleven his mother decided to have him home tutored instead of going away to one of the schools of magic. His aunt handled much of his home schooling, bringing him on her travels around the world and showing him magic along the way. In South America his aunt took a contract to research a recently discovered temple for Gringotts. She died on the trip and Marcus witnessed much of it. After her death his mother decided it was time he go to a real school of magic so he could catch up in magic he hadn't learned with his aunt, and so he could be around people his own age.

Marcus was not scared, he refused to be so. He slowly twirled the charm around his neck his aunt had given him when they visited India and thought about what the next year would bring. He would be starting a real school of magic filled with people his own age, people he'd never had to really interact with before, not counting Beth of course. "Auntie Selma wouldn't be afraid" he mumbled to himself. And that was the truth he thought. She was the bravest woman he knew, always willing to move on to the next adventure or looking for the next new thrill.
"Marcus are you ready?" His mothers voice filtered up through the house thanks to a spell.
"Yea mom, just grabbing the last few things." He shouted back. He quickly went to his secret stash of muggle magazines, a gift his uncle had his dad give him under strict orders not to tell his mum, and threw them in his truck with the rest of his things. "Pipsy" he called "Come take this down to the fire place, please." The elf let out a small squeaky yes and quickly went away with his trunk.
Marcus twirled his wand softly as he walked down the stairs to the foyer. He dropped it as he reached the last step and had to rush to pick it up.
"Where did you pick up that disgusting habit?" His mother, Gale, asked him as she walked in tugging on her coat.
"Auntie Selma says that if I can learn to twirl my wand with out thinking about it my wand work will get better, well she said so anyway" Marcus mumbled out. Looking up without meeting his mothers eyes.
"Well, we don't want to be late to the Express so lets get going." Gale answered, carefully avoiding bringing up the sore subject of her dead sister. Marcus nodded his head as they walked through the fireplace, ready to begin his new life at Hogwarts.
