I know I'd be scared if I had a penis. I'm surprised all men don't have boners when they walk by you. It'd be like a magnet. In the tip of the penis. Pointing towards your general body area.
I like the way you think.
There will be lots of practice. I mostly just want to raise the little one and work on becoming qualified for a good job. As much as I love the thought of being a mum I was never exactly comfortable with the idea of being a housewife... do you think that's going to make me a bad mum? I want to work for the Ministry, though.

Ooh. Hardcore.
Bacon is my favorite thing, Pippin.
I'm not really sure... right now, I'm interested in working in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement? Just something. It's kind of far fetched but it would be cool to maybe one day get really high up in the Ministry... I dunno, I like government. And I don't really like the way things are heading right noooow to be honest soooo. Hopefully by the time I get in there all of this pureblood elitism business will be through...
What do you want to do with your life?

that is a difficult question. as much as i love quidditch, i don't know if it's something i want to do professionally. but i know i do love me some politics and want to get involved with magical government as soon as i can. maybe minister for magic someday, who knows. or if i don't have the patience for that, i kinda like journalism? writing about politics wouldn't be so bad, i guess. i dunno. ministry stuff i guess.
speaking as a muggle-born, i gotta say that i hope this pureblood elitist stuff stops soon too. no offense if you are a pureblood, but it just sucks to feel like you're less of a witch because of who or what your parents were. and you know crap like this starts in youth and i mean, really, hogwarts isn't really doing much to help it. if anything, all these house rivalries and stereotypes make it worse. i know it's tradition and sorting makes everything a shit-ton easier when it comes to classes and stuff, but really, it's not helping the whole prejudiced issue. rant over, apologies.

Political journalism! That's one I've thought about too! I don't think people realize how much those people's articles influence the way readers think. I won't be surprised if soon the Prophet journalists there turn up dead and new people start writing pieces in favor of the elitists...
Don't apologize! I liked it. And I am very pureblood but my parents/their parents/their parents never really bought into the whole thing, soooo we are kind of shunned from and hated by that society. Thank Merlin.
How do you feel about like... a rally? Anyone who wanted to come could, and it would just be in support of muggleborns' rights and equality and stuff?

ugh, i hear ya. you heard about the minister dying over the holidays, right? i won't be surprised if there's a ton of pro-pureblood propaganda coming up. it'll be like in world war 2 when there was all that nazi indoctrination and crap.
oh good, i knew you were all right.
...
would it be weird if i hugged you in class?

YES I DID HEAR. Terrible really. I've got a bad feeling about the next one. AND YES. I know what that means. Cause I read a book at Will's last summer about it. Yep.
I don't think that's weird at all, but seriously! I've been thinking about putting together something like this for a while but I kind of just thought it was silly so I never mentioned it to anyone... do you think it's an alright idea?

KIND of hard to be optimistic about it, buuut hopefully it doesn't turn out too bad. Eh.
Maybe the first weekend in March? Hopefully by then the weather will be a lot less cold, and we could do it in the courtyard... ...maybe...

true. but i dunno if the wizengamot will let the ministry totally fuck up the system, especially since dumbledore's on it. makes you wonder where the real power is, huh?
sounds perf. yeah, it should definitely be the first weekend, 'cause the next one is hogsmeade.

I'm seriously so relieved I'm not the only person concerned about this thing, it mostly just seems like everyone is flipping shit and being all paranoid but they're not actually researching and finding the facts ugh whatever
yes, yes, yes. I will find you tonight or tomorrow morning in the Great Hall and we can discuss more details, okay?
