I met Miss Andromeda during out first year, and, needless to say, my first action toward her was to be impressed by her lineage. At first I was slightly intimidated by it, for she was a Black after all, but once I got to know her, she was actually very cool. I liked talking to her, and soon found out about all the drama revolving around her family. Apparently the family house was Slytherin, and if you didn’t get in there, you were ostracized. Thus was poor Annie’s fate. But I treat her as an equal, always, after the initial encounter, and hopefully she appreciates that. I’ve always been there when her one of her sisters did something particularly nasty, and I hope to spend more time with her in the future.

I’ve never been particularly close to Andromeda. When we were children, our parents often arranged visits for us to become acquainted. We gained some familiarity with each other, but Andromeda tended to keep close to Bellatrix, while I spent more time with Narcissa and their cousin Regulus. We were cordial to each other in our childhood, but after her Sorting into Ravenclaw, we simply stopped speaking on a regular basis. I knew her before she "changed"; she was sweet and pretty normal. I believe she wasn't getting enough thrills from her books, so she felt the urge to switch and try out something new.
