Julien is kind of a little shit. Sometimes. Other times he’s just a typical guy, who loves cracking jokes with his friends and playing Quidditch and flirting with the ladies. Ry has done basically everything with him, too – that is, explored all the different facets of his personality. We’ve seen Julien getting into fights with Donny Rosier, we’ve seen his playful side with May, we’ve seen his – dare I say it? – romantic side with Gracie. Ry hasn’t kept it to purely romance with Mr. Cross, and seeks out opportunities to get Julien into a position where he might end up throwing a punch – or even worse. He is just incredibly real, incredibly well-rounded, and incredibly written by our Ry – so of course he deserves this award. Keep up the great work!

Juuuuuuuuliennnn. ldgnhdlhnhd. Ugh, I love this turd. He's a true Gryffindor, you know? He's reckless and passionate and hot-headed and a lot like an actual lion, if you think about it. He has his pack (Gracie, May, Cal, etc) and he's playful and nurturing as he can be, but when he's out of the den he's a fierce alpha male and he is not one to be reckoned with. As for Ry's writing of Julien, it is, of course, incredibly well done and in all ways captivating. Ry has such a way with this particular character, where he's so deeply in tune with Julien's masculinity and raging tendencies, that he writes him in such a way that is so realistic and so compelling. And not many people can do that, especially with teh doods. But given that Ry IS a dood, he has that natural understanding. And it really shines through with Julien. Like, gah. I could ramble forever about how much I adore this character, ever since I read his app, and that I've been dying to play with him for, like, ever, and he's the best thing since sliced bread, but suffice it to say- Julien is definitely deserving of this award, and so is Ry. Love you both and congrats. <3
