About the Character- -
Name: William Mason Dempsey. Age: Sixteen. Gender: Male. Year: Sixth Year. Face Claim: Jesse Spencer.
Canon or Original? Original.
Facial Properties: William’s skin is a soft peach color that compliments his long, dark brown hair. His eyes are a crystal blue and look as if he was smiling constantly. His smile is white and straight and leads into his rounded face and high cheek bones. He sometimes leaves a five o’clock shadow along his jaw and over his upper lip. His nose is slightly pointed but masculine. His ears are usually covered by lis relatively straight, messy hair. His bangs are just short enough to not fall into his eyes. Physique: Will’s muscles are quite in shape and he flaunts that. His chest and shoulders are broad and buff. They are also slightly wider than his hips. His shoulder blades protrude slightly and his stomach is flat. He has long arms, strong and fit. William’s hands are callused and rough and his fingers are those of a guitarist. His thighs are heavier set and lead into also muscular calves and somewhat large feet.
Personality:
[[Sitting singing songs for everyone]] William’s passion for music became more and more overwhelming as the years passed. His father had played the guitar since Will was a small boy and began learning at a young age. His mother had put him in violin lessons since he was four years old. And of course singing was something he just did randomly. He never took choir or lessons until he went to Hogwarts but he didn’t really need them. His parents writing skills were also passed down to him but in the form of song writing. He was good at it. Rhyming was easy, poetry was simple. He always knew what to say and he loved it. He loved expressing himself through his remarkable talent for music. It was second nature to him though, not really his greatest passion but a passion none the less. [[Words are flowing out]] Learning. William found anyway he could to learn more about everything. He especially loved to read. Reading was a way to fill his head with brand new ideas, to escape a less than perfect world and to broaden his already impressive vocabulary. Reading was just as good as magic to Will. Hogwarts frustrated him sometimes because he often felt caged, trapped inside the walls of the school. Opening a book was like opening a window to the outside world. He also loved to write. He often found excuses to write, whether it was song lyrics, essays, short stories or even taking detailed notes. To capture life with his pen. His camera came in handy for those moments as well. He absolutely LOVED to capture life in way. It was definitely his strong point.
[[Jai guru deva Om]] William can speak seven [including English] languages. Italian and French are his favorite, followed closely by Spanish and German. He doesn’t necessarily like the Japanese or Russian languages so he rarely ever uses them. French is surprisingly soft on his tongue, or beau parler, and he finds himself speaking it often without thinking about it. And Italian, La lingua di amore, was by far his favorite around the girls. Spain was where he grew up so the language was nunca difícilmente. And German was reserved for when he was swearing or when he wanted to act tough, Welches war nicht sehr häufig. His love for words was greatly increased by his travels and learning experiences in other countries.
[[Tumble blindly as they make their way]] William is spontaneous. He will do just about anything to change routine or anything that pops into his head. Practical jokes are just one of the many ways he attempts to spice up his life. He loves flying and playing various air sports because he never knows what will happen. Although, the downfall of playing sports for Will is that he doesn’t always like to follow by the rules. Will thinks outside of the box and sometimes that causes him serious issues with the other players in the game but mainly he gets along with them. He likes the rush of adrenaline in competitions as well because he is generally a competitive person. Overall, he would rather be doing something different often than nothing at all.

History: Born in Barcelona, Spain, Will was the eldest son of Jamie and Charles Dempsey. Jamie was a muggle who met Charles through her writing. Jamie had been adopted and raised by wizards, and hadn’t gotten any magical abilities. She wrote perspective columns as a junior journalist in The Daily Prophet so wizards could understand better what was going on in the wizarding world. Some of her other columns kept tabs on the Quidditch teams in the school. She was filling in for a photographer during a Hogwarts Quidditch game when a young player, Charles, approached her. They were drawn to each other by a love for writing and photography. They began writing back and forth to each otheras pen pals and tried as often as possible to see eachother outside of school hours. Two years after their graduation [different school, mind you] they were married and began traveling the world to seek muse for their creative souls. Photography and writing. Charles and Jamie were twenty four when William came along.
Jacob came a few years after William, and three years later, Molly. Starting at a very young age, the three never went to the same school for more than a year. They were constantly traveling because their parents kept on switching jobs and finding new inspiration for their work and art. William grew to love the spontaneity. Although he never could keep his friends, he didn’t really mind. Another plus about their travels was that William quickly became fluent in six different languages [Italian, Spanish, German, French, Russian, and Japanese] other than English. For William, learning the languages wasn’t really a burden; he enjoyed it. He also learned many common dishes, the popular dances [which he was terrible at] and even the religions of the multiple cultures he was exposed to. He understood the boundaries between the Wizarding and Muggle world, and knew he and his siblings were Hogwarts-bound at a very young age.
Jacob and Will were always extremely close. For their ninth and tenth birthdays, they both got broomsticks and that was when they both fell in love with flying. They were inseparable as brothers and they were constantly in the air. Jacob had always been very different from Will, but they got along well despite their differences. Molly, on the other hand, was the favorite of the family. She was four years younger than Will, so he was naturally protective of her. She was beautiful and shy. Will taught her to sing and Jacob taught her to fly. Both boys made sure she would be the best girl she could be. They always took extra precautions with their baby sister - Will most of all because their parents were constantly busy.
When William got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts, there was no stopping him. He was ready to make some real friends. He wasn’t necessarily looking forward to the routine of school – he was actually worried it would get him into trouble because he was so antsy – but he liked the idea of a little structure. And of course, after his first and very successful year at Hogwarts, his brother rejoined him and the duo were together most of that year. After a while, they both got a life and Will constantly worried about Molly. He kept up with her, sending hilarious charmed letters to her and letting her stay with him during the Holidays when their parents couldn’t. Once she finally joined the boys at Hogwarts, his overprotective role as a brother eased up a bit and he pursued his studies and his music more thoroughly. He found that he enjoyed playing his guitar much more that when he was a boy, so of course, he pursued guitar strongly. Charms were second nature to him and he used them often to brighten up his siblings days. He was truly learning more than he had hoped at Hogwarts.
Sample Post: High on a tall hill near the greenhouses, Brielle sat watching the sun set over the forest. She held her guitar close to her chest and observed the changes that the Hogwarts grounds were taking. The leaves on the enormous oak tree above her were turning a deep crimson, some scattered below her bare feet. The wood looked as if it was set on fire and burning with the sun behind it. A tiny pond reflected the image and sent tiny rainbows of gold and red to dance across Bri’s pale white skin. She took a deep breath and held it. Tentatively she began to remember how embarrassed she was earlier that morning. She attempted to turn the glass of water on her desk into a sunflower. Of course, the glass turned into a stink beetle and instantly, the classroom was filled with the scent of rotten eggs and juiced prunes. Transfiguration wasn’t really her strong point but she enjoyed it. She pushed away the image of the boys in the classroom laughing as the girls ran, screaming, out of the room and the teacher trying to calm the class. With a deep, high pitched sigh, she leaned against the massive tree and began to play a soft melody.
The music started out as just quiet and random plucking. Nothing specific, just playing to hear the voice of the guitar. Lightly, she found the melody of a song she had heard the girls in her house playing on a muggle radio station. It was called Blackbird by an English band of about four, shaggy haired boys that called themselves “The Beatles.” Why “The Beatles”?, She thought, Why not a name that is more appealing. Why not a name that doesn’t remind me of mistakes and embarrassment? What went wrong with that ridiculous spell? I am sure I said it right. It couldn’t have been… Avery. Of course! I was thinking about how I’d like to turn Avery into an insect because she is already annoying enough to be one. Oh my god. Now she is making my life more complicated. At least these Beatle boys can write a good song… She continued to play the melody but stopped thinking all together. She was sick of the faces that starred at her in her mind, always blaming her with their eyes. She was just clumsy. Maybe more clumsy than most people but it wasn’t out of the ordinary. She leaned her head back against the rough bark and closed her eyes.
Music always had a strange way of carrying her away. It was like a hot bath. You just lie there while all of your muscles relax and unwind, your thoughts drift from one adventure to another. Everything falls into place and you are overwhelmed with unbelievable peace. The music just floated on and on and the breeze grew cold. She just sat and listened for a long time. Suddenly, there was only silence. She jumped and sat up quickly, realizing she had fallen asleep. It was completely dark and the night air was cold enough that she could see her breath. Slowly, Brielle picked up her guitar and walked down the winding stone steps toward the greenhouses. Inside the third glass shelter, there was a dim glowing light. She walked into the room to find a lantern set in the middle of the greenhouse. There was a piece of parchment placed next to the light, folded in half with elegant writing across the front. She leaned closer and recognized the words Brielle Snow flowing gently across the page in jet black ink.
Bri took a cautious step backwards, not quite sure if she should read the note or run for it. Uncertainly, she took the note between her fingers and unfolded it. In dark lettering the word AQUARIUS was scrawled across the top. Below it, the note read:
Tomorrow night. On the terrace outside of your window. Look up and to the right sometime in the early morning before the sun comes up. Follow the drawing and you will see it. Tomorrow will be the only clear night you will be able to see this constellation so don’t miss your chance. Trust me. The drawing below the words was an intricate sketch of the constellation Aquarius. It was detailed with bold marks for the stars that made up the weaving shape and the small stars surrounding it. There was no name. Brielle starred at the parchment in her hands blankly. Could this be some sort of trick? Who do I know that knows anything about astrology? Or that I like astrology. And why? Quietly, she folded the paper and stuck it in the bag hanging around her shoulder. Taking the lantern, she walked out of the greenhouse and through a door leading toward the hall of her dormitory. She made sure she was silent as she shut the door behind her. She slipped into her night gown and pulled out the note. She sat on the edge of her bed, studying the handwriting and the words. It was late and soon she gave up and put the mysterious letter into the drawer of her nightstand. Swinging her legs around and under the blankets, she glanced out the window to the terrace. The stars were bright and the moon was almost full. With another, long sigh, she laid back, closed her eyes and slipped into another dreamless sleep.
