{ A B O U T . T H E . C H A R A C T E R } Name: Sofia Gisele Dreher. Her real name is actually Selene Analiese Haugwitz, but for reasons that will become clear later, no one except for Dumbledore himself knows her given name. People at school know her as Sofia Dreher, or Gisele to her friends. She prefers her middle name.. Age: 16 Gender: Femme Year: 6th Face Claim: Deborah Ann Woll
Canon or Original? Orig.
Facial Properties: Gisele has a beautiful face. Her eyes are as blue as the sea; big and round with long, light eyelashes. Her teeth are as white as gossamer ribbons; the top row a little bigger than the bottom, but straight nonetheless. She's got a toothy smile that gives the illusion of her being younger than she seems. It's a trick. Because her mouth cancels it out. Her full lips are like plump, red, apples. The many young men who have tested this theory can testify to her round, delectable mouth Her skin is fair and smooth. Gisele has beautiful red hair; natural and shiny, and long as can be. She's a beautiful girl, and she knows it, as far as her face goes.
Physique: Gisele's body is a little angular; a bit more edgy than muscular and thick. Her muscles are hard and lean; years of physical training are obvious in her body. Her legs are a mile long, her thighs a little thicker than the norm. Gisele's arms and shoulders hold the most muscle; her upper body strength is ridiculous, but her fair skin seems to even it all out, so she doesn't look like a body builder. For reasons unknown, Gisele's stomach is flat, not toned, like she wants it to be. She's done enough crunchers to warrant a washboard on her tummy, but for some reason, it stays flat instead of muscular. As far as tattoos and piercings go, Gisele's not allowed to have piercings besides her ears, because of her line of work, but she's got the Haugwitz family crest on her left hip, and nothing else. Standard protocol for the agency.
Wand Type: 10 inches, Elm, Thestral hair core. It is said that wands with thestral hair cores cannot simply be mastered by winning their allegiance; it's a powerful and tricky substance that can only be mastered by a witch or wizard capable of facing death. Gisele cares not about dying, so using a thestral core wand is simple for her. Wand Expertise: Dark Magic. Patronus: King Cobra. Known to be the longest and most aggresive, venemous snake in the world. Boggart: Her parents telling her they're ashamed of her. Personality:
manipulative - Prone to attempt to influence others by devious or subtle psychological means, in order to induce them to do what one wants.
It comes from years of extensive psychological training. Gisele was brought up to be like that. Part of the techniques she was taught as a young girl was to manipulate people into doing what she wanted them to do. She even uses it on her parents when she occasionally wants something. Not that she'd need to at all.; they spoil her to no end. But Gisele is just generally a sneaky girl. She uses her body and her talents to get what she wants. Boys usually have no way of saying no when Gisele is genuinely interested. Sometimes, when she doesn't feel like actually working at it, she won't actually try, and she loses interest, and she stops trying. But for the men she actually wants? There's no hope for them. She'll do anything and everything to get what she wants, especially boys. The best way to do that is to be manipulative. Some people consider it a negative trait, but how else is Gisele supposed to be content in life? By being nice? One of the main things she had to learn in training was how to get people to do what she wanted. If there was a target that needed persuading, or to be lulled into a false sense of security before being brutally murdered, it was of the utmost importance that their trained assassins were experienced in making it happen. Gisele got top marks in that particular course; her parents are also like that; when Gisele thinks about it, she figures that's where she got it from.. Her whole family's like that, actually. Not to each other; obviously they'd know what was going on; nevertheless, Gisele knows what she wants, all the time, and she knows how to get it. She usually gets her way; and when she doesn't? The claws come out. She's completely used to getting her way, by any means necessary, but when it doesn't work, or she fails, it's like a slap in the face. It's rare; the occasion of not succeeding in getting what she wants, but when it happens, the outcome usually isn't pretty. When she was younger, her parents usually just gave her what she wanted, just to save them the trouble. Well, and because they loved her and spoiled her rotten, of course.
hypersexual - n: abnormally intense sexual desire in others, men in particular.
Pretty self-explanatory. She's got an unhealthy sexual tension about her. This is one of her personality traits that actually has nothing to do with her training. Gisele just loves sex. It's not fully developed into an actual disease, per se, but Gisele isn't in relationships for her man's "personality". It's for the sex. And if she ends a relationship, it's usually because there's no sex. She's not even particular on how good it is anymore, but it's crossed over from just being enjoyable to being a need now. She'll go anywhere to find it, and rarely will Gisele find herself spending time with a boy if there's no intercourse involved. It's kind of sad, actually, how afflicting it is on her relationships with men. It made it difficult for a while for her to just have guy friends, because she couldn't imagine what she would need them for, but Gisele eventually was able to manage just having guy friends and having friends with benefits, even though, sometimes they mix. She just can't help it. It wasn't even a traumatic beginning, either. She was in training when it happened; she was fourteen; extremely advanced for her age in every way; mentally, physically, emotionally. His name was Travis; an American from overseas, shipped halfway across the world just to be part of the agency. He asked her to accompany him into an old closet at the agency's headquarters, and the minute the door closed, Gisele was being kissed. It didn't matter that she didn't understand what he wanted, all that mattered was this; she felt alive. Something was happening to her body; it was like all over her muscles were tightening and her lungs were bursting from the pressure; all at the same time. It was like her skin was being set on fire and her clothes were being peeled off of her body with the sheer warmth that radiated from her heart. And the next thing she knew, she was no longer a virgin. After that excursion, Gisele couldn't stop thinking about how wonderful it felt to be held, and loved, and touched, and kissed, and everything in between. She vowed to herself, late that night, that she'd never let that feeling go away. And so it began. Some people would call her a slut or a whore at Hogwarts, but Gisele didn't really care. She knew it wasn't a need for love; it's not like she was searching for her soul mate between the legs of some random guy; it was simply the need to release the copious amounts of sexual tension in her body. Simple as that. How she went about getting, however; her methods were questionable. The main outcome, however, was the only important thing to her. And she always got what she wanted.
loyal - True to any person or persons to whom one owes fidelity, especially as a wife to her husband, lovers to each other, and friend to friend; constant; faithful to a cause or a principle.
Probably because of her family, actually. When Gisele was old enough to hear the old stories from Grandpa about the old days; the concentration camps and what her mother had done, all to be with her flesh and blood, Gisele was enthralled. Besides, her family meant everything to her; growing up, all she had was her family and her friends at the agency, who died often. She never got the chance to make many friends; her mother and father was all she needed. Her loyalty to her family; her close friends, her agency, her god, whatever it may be; Gisele is faithful and never falters. It's probably the reason she's usually the one to do the breaking up in the relationships. Because it's not the the guy ever really has anything to complain about. When she's exclusive with someone, it's him, and him only. There's no one else, no matter how tense she is. It's a conflict of traits, really, because on one hand, she can't help but feel the need for sex, and on the other hand, she's unswervingly loyal to whoever she pledges that allegiance to. But one thing is true; the sexual desire never wins in that battle. Gisele would rather face death than actually betray someone she loves. She regard it the lowest possible level she can stoop to, to stab a friend or family member, or even boyfriend, in the back. It's probably in her blood, as well; the need to be true to someone, or to be trusted by someone else. Her grandfather and even her mother are the same way. And it never sways; the only exception is obviously when she's been betrayed herself, of course, then it's all hands on deck. But Gisele would never talk poorly about a friend; a true friend. She'd never badmouth her parents, or her brother. In that way; she's the perfect daughter; she loves and respects her parents, and she's loyal to them through and through. She gets angry with her family and friends, obviously, as does anyone, but it would take a lot to make Gisele hurt someone she loves in that manner.
intelligent - Possessed of a high level of intelligence, education, or judgment; knowing; sensible; skilled; exhibiting high intelligence; as, an intelligent young man; an intelligent architect; an intelligent answer.
Training, again.. Obviously. The intelligence comes from many aspects, really. Gisele was at the top of her Muggle studies in every subject she perused before Hogwarts. It's probably the only slightly nerdy thing about Gisele. She's like a walking dictionary. In a way, she knows everything there is to know about everything; Muggle stuff, of course. Literature, Arts, Science, Mathematics, Music, Movies; even names and dates. She's been trained mentally to retain enormous amounts of information. She's also fluent in approximately five languages. She can speak, read, and write more than ten, but as far as being dropped into a foreign country and being able to survive? Five is where she's at right now; English. German, French, Hungarian, and Spanish are her favorites, which is why she knows them the best. As far as her magical education goes; obviously she doesn't know everything about it; she started off when she was eleven and didn't have the background that most of her peers have. But what Gisele can know, she does. If anyone ever needs help with homework, or has a question, they're best off asking Gisele, because she's got some of the top marks in her grade, let alone her class. She loves the thrill of new information; she loves knowing things that others might not be aware of. She loves knowing little things about the smallest fish in the sea, to how many liters are in a gallon. She's full of little tidbits of knowledge, and she actually doesn't mind letting people in on that. She's a sucker for teaching others what she knows, too. She loves sharing information, as well. Her general tolerance for information is one of the reasons she's top at the agency; one of the main reasons her parents have let her remain at school; she's an incredible student. And it's not because she wants to impress anyone; it's simply who she is. And she's not ashamed of that aspect of her personality; not at all.
fearless - possessing or displaying courage; able to face and deal with danger or fear without flinching;
Well, duh, I mean, who wants a wussy assassin? The main thing that the agency has to be able to master is the threat of death.. And Gisele is no exception. Dying doesn't frighten her at all; not in the slightest. She's got a soft spot for adrenaline, as well; she loves Muggle activities that allow her to jump off of high rocks and tall skyscrapers, strapped to nothing but a chord. The fear of falling to her death on these occasions doesn't frighten her at all. It actually excites her. The agency noticed it early on; she never seemed to shy away from imminent threats of destruction. Gisele welcomed the challenge. As far as girly things like spiders and snakes goes; she's completely indifferent. Nothing really scares Gisele. Fear, she was taught, turns smart people into stupid animals. They make stupid decisions, they say stupid things; they're too afraid to really consider all sides of a situation; and in crucial moments, that wasn't an option for her. The ability to fear nothing makes her one of the best executioners in the world. Not everyone can truly be afraid of nothing. It's something that had to be learned overtime; she didn't start out that way. When Gisele was younger, little things like insects and large birds would frighten her, but when her grandfather taught her to kill things with her bare hands; when she learned how to turn her body into a weapon; when she was taught that nothing could be overcome, Gisele began to fear nothing. And now, that's exactly what she is. A fearless, killing machine. Exactly what her parents wanted. Really, the only thing Gisele is truly afraid of? Disappointing her parent.s She doesn't know this yet, because it hasn't happened yet. But deep in the corners of her mind, Gisele fears letting her family down. They're so close, they've taught her so much; the thought of any of them hanging their head in shame over anything she's ever done? It scares her. When it happens, it'll be a wake up call for her. But since it hasn't yet, as far as she knows. she fears nothing.

History:
Katarina Auschwitz did not have a normal childhood.
Her mother was a dancer for the German ballet; her father, the sponsor and top commander for the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland. Katarina actually grew up near the camp, in a beautiful manor house less than a mile away from the fence of the camp. She was spoiled as a child; she grew up completely unaware that her father was running one of the most horrible concentration camps in the history of the world. Thousands dying of disease and starvation, gas chambers and medical expiriments, less than a mile away while she enjoyed everything a little girl could have. But how could she know any better? She was raised to know that Jews were devils, sent down to this earth to kill her mother and father, take away her toys, and kill her pet kitty. She was taught to hate them; to despise the dirty people who were herded into her father's camp, and she did. All the while, Katarina's mother didn't approve. She'd been forced into the marraige by her father, Katarina's grandfather, her husband was a wealthy, powerful man. But Leisel did not approve. She hated what her husband was doing to those innocent people; she hated what he was teaching their daughter, she hated him. Late one night, Liesel took Katerina from her bedroom, still sleeping and ran.. She left no note, she took no money. She just wanted to be a dancer; she just wanted her daughter to grow up without all the effects of war and death. When Katarina awoke the next morning, she was on a boat to a place called "America". Katarina did not take it lightly. She screamed and cried, kicked and hit her mother. She loved her father dearly and couldn't understand why mommy wanted to leave. Katarina had no idea why she was being taken away from the man who'd given her everything. As Katarina and her mother settled down in New York, she grew to resent and eventually hate her mother. They didn't have as much money; she was forced to try and learn a language she didn't understand, and the people there were dirty and gross, talking down about her poor father and what he was doing back in Poland. She hated her mother for taking her away, and she vowed vengance. So she waited. And waited. For ten years, Katarina kept the grudge, forced herself to remember her father. She kept a picture of him in her bedroom to remind her of her goal, her true destiny. She lulled her mother into a false sense of security, letting her think that everything would be all right. And for a while, Liesel thought it would be. But Katarina knew otherwise. The night she turned sixteen, Katarina crept into her mother's bedroom, the pale moonlight illuminating the room perfectly. She ignored the snoring of the disgusting man sleeping next to her mother now. Katarina brought the knife up, as high as her arm would reach, saying one last silent good-bye to her mother. The knife slashed down, and Liesel never woke up, never learned that her down daughter had killed her and new husband.
Katarina fled.
Ralph Aushwitz was a tortured man. Everything had been going well for six years; Katarina was growing up to be a beautiful little girl and everything was going according to plan at the camp that Hitler had so graciously named after him. The only thing that was denting his mood was his bitch of a wife; he'd never liked her, just used her to get the little girl he'd always wanted. He knew she wanted out, but he didn't care. He was one of the most powerful men in the world, what did he care if his wife didn't like him? He thought she was too weak to do anything about it anyway. But Ralph woke up one morning in a cold sweat, the nightmare of his daughter disappearing a constant poisonous thought in the back of his mind. He brushed it off and hurried to her room; he needed to calm his nerves and see his sleeping, precious baby girl. But when he arrived in her room; she was no where to be found. Crying out in agony, Ralph searched every inch of the manor's grounds and land, but she was no where. Leisel was gone, as well. He was never the same again. After the fall of Nazi Germany, Ralph left everything behind and fled to Austria, hiding out in another manor on the edge of the mountains. He sank into despair for the next ten years, but he made himself work, make money. He never remarried, never adopted. He couldn't bear the thought of someone with him other than his sweet daughter. And then, one late night in December, there was a knock on the door. He sent the butler to answer it and show whoever it was into the study. When the butler came back and announced her name, Ralph dropped the class of scotch in his hand, the crystal shattering into a million pieces. There she was. His little baby girl, all grown up, standing on the rug in front of him in tattered clothes, but otherwise beautiful. Their reunion was one of seismic proportions . Ralph couldn't have been happier to see her home. When Katarina told him what she'd done, he was so proud, so happy that she'd found him, and together, they vowed to never again speak her mother's name; it was as if she'd never existed.
A year passed; Ralph was called upon late one night by a mysterious man, clothed in all black and carrying a weapon he'd never seen before. Ralph was terrified for his daughter, but the man assured him no one would get hurt, as long as his proposal was simply heard. The man sat down and began to speak. He'd said his name was of no importance, but the organization he represented wanted Ralph, and his extraordinary daughter to consider positions with his firm. The man left nothing but a card and the strange smell of gunpowder behind him. Ralph called his daughter in to discuss, and they agreed to call the following day. It turned out that the agency was the SSR; a top secret agency made from the Nazi's left over from the War, banding together and exterminating what was left of the Jews that had gotten away. They focused only on the powerful people; they couldn't afford to waste time with dirty candle stick makers. Katarina was enthralled by the idea, and days later, her father and herself were on their way to training. Ralph was getting old, however, and they instead decided to give him a higher position of power; second in command. Katerina was in training when she met Gustov Haugwitz.
He was rich, he was handsome, he was training as well. Ralph saw the potential there; the rise to power, the possible grandchildren. He urged Katarina to go for it, and six months after a whirlwind courtship, Katarina and Gustov were happily married, their love and obsession for their work fueling their marriage. Ralph was so happy, things were finally turning around. They chose a beautiful big house just down the road from Ralph, and after a mere few weeks of being newlyweds, Katarina was pregnant. It was a big surprise and a wonderful thing; Ralph was estactic. Nine months later, Ralph ll was born, a beautiful, healthy baby boy. Katarina was on leave from the agency, and while Gustov went back to work, Katarina stayed home to raise Ralphie. Katarina was determined to make sure that her sweet baby boy had everything he could ever want, including parents that loved each other. She would never force Ralphie to choose, like her mother before her had. Katarina was content with her new life; her father was close by, her husband was incredibly rich and powerful, and her son was going to be as handsome as ever, but Katarina desperately wanted a baby girl. They decided to wait until Ralphie was a little older, and sure enough, when Ralphie turned seven, his present was his favorite he'd ever gotten, a baby sister! Katarina decided to name her Selene, after the moon goddess. She was beautiful, just as beautiful as her brother. Selene was allowed a year to spend with Ralphie, and then he was sent off to training. Selene only saw her brother during the summer; training took the place of school, and summertime was used for learning simple skills like writing and reading. But Selene was a lucky baby. Katarina and Gustov spoiled their little girl to no end. The happy family was thrilled that everything was going so well.
Selene was allowed a few years of normal childhood, but when she turned four, her grandpa insisted that training start early. She didn't know what training was, or what was even happening; all Selene knew was that she would go to this dark room in the basement (Katarina insisted that training be carried out in the house, she was too young to be sent away) and learn stuff with grandpa. Some stuff was scary, some stuff was fun. But all she remembered was that there would be a bunny, or a squirrel, or a kitty, and when she left the room at the end of the day, it didn't move anymore. Years later, Selene realized that grandfather was teaching her to kill things with her bare hands, but she didn't understand until one day she was in training, a wild dog had gotten on to the property, hungry for food, and charged her. Suddenly, her body brain shut down and her instincts took over. She knew exactly what to do, even with no weapon.. It was dead within seconds. Selene was utterly amazed, she had no idea that she was being trained like this. It was simply exhilarating. When she was ten, she was sent off on her first mission, Ralph. (now seventeen), to accompany her. They were to go alone. Katarina and Gustov were apprehensive, ten seemed too young, but they believe in their children. They were the top students in the agency, and Ralph the First had faith in them. Sure enough, they were dispatched, and the target was aquired and destroyed. Her parents had never been prouder. Even Ralphie was surprised at how amazing his little sister was. But there was something else about her that no one else understood. It was some kind of secret force about her, like she couldn't be touched, like every time she felt in danger, something about her would keep her safe, keep her from getting hurt. They tried running tests on her, but nothing showed up. They didn't know what it was, but they got their answer when a strange looking man appeared at their mansion one evening. He said something about a place called "Hogwarts", and school, and "magic", but the only word that Selene heard was "witch". She could have destroyed him, in that second, with nothing but her thumb, but she decided otherwise when he explained that the reason she was the way she was was because she was a witch. It wasn't an insult, it was a part of her. The man--Professor Dumbledore, as she was now to call him, said that she was allowed to come to school there, if she wanted. Selene looked anxiously at her parents, afraid that they'd be angry, but they were absolutely thrilled, and they accepted for her. Selene began to get excited. She went to Diagon Alley and got her wand. Her parents even bought her a cat, one that she didn't have to kill, she could actually keep it as a pet. She went off to Hogwarts, but her parents suggested that she go under a different name; they had no idea who could possibly be at this school. If they realized that she was the granddaughter of Ralph Auschwitz, there could be trouble. So, she went off to school on September 1st as Sofia Gisele Dreher, an old, popular Austrian name. To this day, she goes by Gisele; no one knows her real name, no one knows what she is, or what she doe.s. She's a complete mystery to everyone at Hogwarts, and she likes it that way. Every summer, she goes home and continues her training; the agency occasionally sending her on assignment during school, just to keep her in the loop. Selene, or Gisele, as she's now referred to, loves Hogwarts and everything it represents, and despite the fact that she's been brought up to be this mindless, fearless assassin, she still allows herself to occasionally enjoy her time at school. She now enters her sixth year, full of knowledge, ready for the next step, and never forgetting who she is or where she came from.
