Well, yeah but... Why do they think differently? I mean, how am I supposed to know what they're thinking if I sometimes don't even know what I'm thinking...?
Hmmph. Anyway, kinda but I don't entirely want to talk about it. It's an ongoing problem that I don't know how to get over... So Lilah- how have you been? I love the way you did your hair today!

I'm not really sure what exactly it is, but I figure it's just different upbringing. I mean, women and men are treated so differently from the very beginning so I guess it only makes sense that our brains interpret things differently too! Right? Anyway, I think it's best to be honest and open, so if you wanna know what he's thinking, just go ahead and ask! Hopefully he's a good guy and he'll be honest with you too. And if not, I'd say it's not worth it.
That's perfectly alright! If you ever wanna talk about it more, just let me know, I'll always be here to listen and help you through stuff. I've been really lovely! Getting ready for summer to be here, though... all this O.W.L.s stuff is pretty overwhelming. How about you!? And thank you so much! I really like braiding it.

Well, I suppose you're right. It's just that I've really never had to deal with this sort of thing before and I just... I just don't know how to ask him... Anyway. You're right, it's just going to be a difficult thing for me to do.
Thanks Lilah, I know you'll always have my back. That's great! And yeah, I can't imagine the extra stress the O.W.L's cause... Luckily I get to find out next year! *Sarcastic eye roll* Oh! We should do something together this summer as a way to congratulate you on what I'm sure will be very high marks! Maybe get ice cream or something...?
Yeah, I've been pretty alright. This boy thing is a minor problem in my book, I just needed to vent a tad- it sucks not being able to talk to anyone about it, you know? Mostly because the person I would go to to talk about it is the same person this is about, so it gets tricky... Anyway, I can't wait for summer either! I've been studying fairly hard so hopefully my exam grades will reflect that.

It'll be difficult, but I think it'll be worth it. There's nothing shameful or embarrassing about romantic feelings! I think it's lovely, really.
Ice cream would be AMAZING! Would you like me to save my notes from classes so you can use them to study next year? They're super well organized, color-coordinated and everything!
That is tricky! Hopefully soon you'll get everything figured out, though. I'm trying so hard not to get too excited about summer yet, but it's so hard! I'm praying the next few months fly by. I'm sure you're going do an incredible job on your exams, just try not to stress about it too much!

Aw thanks, I'm sure you'll do just swimmingly on your exams as well Lilah! This time of the year is just so stressful... I wish there was something for us students to do to let off steam- other than going to Hogsmeade, I mean. Lately I've just felt so tired... I need something to pump up my energy! You know what we need? A party! With balloons and cake and loud music and, well, everything!

I'll be sure to send you a letter when the summer comes, but what can we do in the mean time?! I'd love to spend a little time with you and catch up! And I try to pay attention, sometimes I'm not so great at it... like right now... whoops.
Oooooh! That is a great idea. Can we plan it together? Also, cake sounds absolutely delicious... ugh, I wish I could have some right now!
