Caoimhe's eyes glanced over Luke's trademark scrawl with a vague sort of interest, but the moment she saw his trying to claim that Aiden was only being a pain because he didn't know any better, a loud snort of laughter escaped her. Quickly stifling the noise with a quick look towards the front of the room, she gave the boy a pitying look.

Sure, love. I'll just sit him and down tell him that. I'm sure he hasn't realized what he's doing and just needs to be told!

No... no, I didn't know they were friends. I did see them speak a little during the Slug Club meeting a few nights back (she's that blonde girl right?), but outside that, I'm as clueless as you are. Does that bother you, though? Their being friends?

Luke stuffed hes fist against his mouth and tried not to laugh along with Caoimhe's reaction. And also because whenever Caoimhe laughed, Luke automatically laughed along with a dreamy eyed-puppy dog. But Luke did always try to give his older brother the benefit of the doubt. Even if it was a bad choice some times... Most of the time...

Oh... I don't know, I haven't seen them hang out either, I didn't even know until Emme was asking me some stuff. And yes, she is blonde! A faint crease appeared on her forehead as Caoimhe saw the Yule Ball mention. Who was this little tart, again? She thought back to the last time she noticed this girl, trying to remembering how she felt about her from the brief seconds they shared. Well, whoever she was, Luke was still a form of property for Caoimhe. Like a puppy and now someone weird looking stranger was attempting to pet him in front of her.

I think you'd look fantastic with any color hair, including pink. Though I do really like your red hair. But I'd dye mine periwinkle blue if he did, in solidarity, just saying.

She is! And don't worry about that. She's pretty much entirely out of my league. And I've known her since my second year... If you've known a girl for 5years, that pretty solidly puts you in "friend territory", right? Well, I mean, not you, but, like, me. With a girl.

Yah... I mean, that's one of the rules he wrote out when I started going to Hogwarts. Honest! I've still got it at the bottom of my trunk. I'm not allowed to talk to his friends and I'm supposed to keep a 3 meter radius at all times. And I'm not allowed to play quidditch or wear green. I break Neeson Brother Predetermined Conduct every time I talk to you, actually! But it seems like he's maybe given up on that one. (:

Well, things can change over the years if you are... persistent enough to make them change. But don't worry, you. Even if she's friend zoned you, I'll never keep you in the 'just friends' zone, and I've known you for way over five years.

The urge to tease the kid relentlessly by putting him in a head lock and pinching his cheeks (something her brother did to her that drove her insane), even if he had finally managed to grow taller than her this past year, was almost unbearable. To settle, Caoimhe ruffled the back of his hair on the pretense of a stretch, shooting him a smirk as she did so.

...You need to dig that rule list up one of these days and show me. And I think you're right on that one, love! But then when he wrote that list, he didn't know how utterly useless it was to try and control any scenario that involves yours truly.
