Yes, I did get an invitation... Of course, I didn't really want to accept because, well, special clubs aren't really my thing. But Slughorn offered me extra credit towards potions if I joined- and we all know I need as much help as I can get!
I'm kind of nervous about it, though. Do you know what exactly goes on there? Who all is invited? Will I know anyone other than you...?

Oh, there's nothing to be nervous about. Basically Professor Slughorn likes having people he thinks are smart, or interesting or useful to him someway, which sounds a little horrible when you think about it like that, but it's mostly flattering.
There's an awful lot of Slytherins, though, which sucks. But Rita Skeeter's there, and a few other people from my year.
