Yeah, nothing really all that new... I, well, I started a rumor. About myself. Oh geez! Emme, I don't know what to do! I started the rumor that I'm going to the Ball with Cal Bailer and I'm not yet because I haven't asked him. But I told Serena Lovelace that I am going with him because she was making me mad... and now I'm a liar. And I'm nervous about telling him. Cause I'm really starting to think I might sorta kinda like him as more than a friend

It makes me so incredibly happy to hear you say those words. The fact that you don't know Serena Lovelace just makes everything better. You don't want to know her. She's a fourth year Slytherin who thinks she's so much better than everybody else just because she has pure blood (which probably isn't true anyway). But, no I think it's best to just talk to him myself... I'll just brave up and get it done.
So what was going on with your love life, if you don't mind me asking?

I just broke up with my boyfriend, G. And he's going to the Yule Ball with and crushing on some floozy other girl.
Last Christmas, though? Whoa, it can't be. Oh, and I haven't made anybody over since Gabriella Rivera's new hairstyle. Have you seen it? I did it for her; she looks adorable. Well then nothing has to go wrong for you to come over and we can catch up properly that way. What do you think?
