A bored Marlene writes to Benjamin from Italy and, although he's "insulted that she only wrote to him because she's bored", he eagerly responds back and they end up exchanging letters for quite some time. Sometime among these letters Benjamin, unbeknown to Marlene, decides to go to Italy to "save" Marlene and bring her back to England. That ought to be interesting.
Rose writes to Benjamin (since she's sick and thus bedridden), freaking out over the fact that a guy likes her - typical Rose, of course. Once he'd had a good laugh about it, Benjamin manages to convince her that Tristan really does like her, and then regretfully informs her that he is unable to tell her what to do. He really does have the strangest friends ever, doesn't he?
