Rose is wondering where Amycus went when he left Hogwarts, but he won't tell her because he's afraid to endanger her. They both like each other, so Amycus asks her out, but she denies, because she wants to sort out her feelings for him and Adrian Walker. Amycus ends up really pissed off.

Amycus, furious with himself for getting rejected by Rose, bumps into Ted and starts bullying him. Frank comes in and comes to Ted's rescue.

■ ■ ... THE SNAKE THAT YOU ARE * isabelle laurentine
Isabelle threatens Amycus about staying away from Rose, and they start to insult each other through the note. After a while, Isabelle gets tired and makes Amycus's cauldron explode all over him, which causes boils to grow and him having to off to the hospital wing.

Amycus goes over to Rose's house to explain himself to her and see her. Rose has sworn herself off guys for the summer.

Amycus meets Rita at a muggle bar. They get talking. He reveals some stuff about his relationship with Rose.

Rose sends an owl to Amycus asking about his summer and they agree to meet up. She has already decided to choose Tristan over him.

Amycus goes to meet Rose at the park, and she tells him that she's decided to choose Tristan. Amycus loses it.

Andromeda sends an owl inviting Amycus to her birthday party. He refuses, then accepts.

A note passes back and forth between Rita and Amycus. She's trying to get him to compliment her and he's does anything but.

Everett and Amycus talk during Charms. They end up scheming to curse Isabelle Laurentine and talking about relationships.

Amycus hurts Emme but gets stopped by Tonks. Rita comes in and kisses Amycus to make Ted jealous. Ted and Emme leave and Amycus and Rita start making out.

In class, Amycus starts talking to Priscilla and ends up asking her out on a date, which she accepts. She also offers to teach him how to play Wizard's Chess.

After Amycus signs up for the Tabula Rasa, Priscilla has a dream where he gets killed, and confronts him about the sign up, and says he did it to impress Alecto; they end up fighting.

After the little scene between Rita, Prissy, and Amycus at Ace's party, Amycus confronts Rita about what she did, and they end up angry at each other.
